Odds and ends

Just some randome pictures I wanted to post.
I meant to post this before I left, but didn't get it done. The kids were all playing in the backyard and I looked out the window and saw this! Chloe and Bensen had so much fun swinging together! I would never have thought of this!

This is Bensen having fun in Ellee's backyard. He loves to play outside. This is also before Merik decided that Bensen needed to go down the slide! Alex's back was turned and he didn't see him, so Bensen went down by himself! He rolled a couple times at the bottom and was scared to death, but alive!!!!! Wish I could have caught that one on video!!!! I watched it all inside the house!

Alex came in the house and said "grab the camera and come outside quick!" This is what we saw! Gavin stuck on the fence post! I got video of him trying to get off. I'll post that later!
I love this little picture Emmee took! He doesn't like the grass! But when he saw the boys on it, he decided to give a try! It's so cute!!!!

Kadee sent a bag of toys she was tired of and Gavin loved this hammer one! He did it for hours! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! I know why Kadee was tired of it!!!!

I've been having fun making little crochet slippers for the girls! Just need buttons now! I think they'll fit too! Hope they can come home today!

One afternoon Gavin quietly got the rocking chair positioned, grabbed an old book from the shelf (it's german too!) and sat down, propped his feet up and proceeded to "read"! It was too cute!

New Grandbabies!

Well, these are going in the wrong order, but then again, maybe it's the right order. Today we took the boys to go see their little sisters for the first time! They were so excited! Here they are washing their hands first!

Then they ran over to the bed to get a look!

We had them sit on the extra bed (Geoffrey's very lucky to have the extra bed to sleep in!)

Gavin got Brynlee and Merik got Paysen. After a few minutes Merik announced he was ready to go home! Gavin couldn't get enough!

Here's the happy family! Two boys and two girls! And two exhausted parents!

The girls have changed since yesterday when we went to see them. This is Paysen in her little hat that Auntie Em made for her! She weighed 5 lbs 3 oz and was 19 inches long.

And here's Brynlee. She weighed 5lb 1 oz and was 18 inches long. She came 4 minutes after her sister! And did I mention breach! The doctor decided to deliver her breach and did a really good job of it. Ellee didn't have an episeotomy (sp?), she didn't tear and she didn't have to have a c-section! She was able to do it naturally! Good thing they only weighed 5 lbs! Any bigger and it would have been harder!

These next photo's are from yesterday when me and Emmee went to go see them about 5 hours after they were born. This is Brynlee.

I had to check out their little feet and hands. Brynlee got the Lawlor Long Toes! Just like her grandpa! Ellee said the nurse just laughed and laughed!

Along with the long toes, she's got long fingers! She should make a good piano player!

This is Paysen. She's always been head down and Ellee say's she has attitude already!

Here's her little hand, a little fatter then Brynlee and not as long as her sisters!

And here's her little feet, again not as long as her sisters!

Here's Emmee practising for when she has her two girls! No, she's having a little boy in February. And maybe in a couple of years, she'll get her girls! Maybe at the same time! Maybe not!

Here are the happy parents. I know Ellee was happy to have them out and not in! Carrying 10+ pounds of baby is hard work!

Here they are together. Paysen on the left and Brynlee on the right. It's going to be fun watching them grow into their little personalities!

They didn't faced each other in the womb very often, but they sure look cute now! So sweet! So happy they're here!
