Clinton and Elizabeth's Wedding

Here they come! Just married!

It's a little blurry, but this gives you an idea of how the cultural hall was decorated!

Emry and Maeley

Clint's sisters

I couldn't resist putting this one in! I didn't know Merik had his finger up his nose until after I took it! But it's another shot of the cultural hall too!

Nieces and nephews! Anna didn't make it in! She was still sulking!

Here's some words of comfort and encouragement!

All the Lawlor brothers and sisters (except Geoffrey who couldn't make it :-(

The Hutzler family

You can kind of see a little of the beautiful wall behind the kids. I can't think of what they called it! 50's brain! Clint and Elizabeth were in the middle and the Lawlor side was to the right of it. I didn't get a picture of the whole wall, I hope Heidi did!

Elise and Merik in front of the mirror

More of the Hutzler family getting direction from Heidi
Reception line

Hamming it up under a table!!!!! Emry, Karsen and Elise

The traditional cutting of the cake!

Feeding each other the cake! Notice Clint's hand firmly on Elizabeth so she can't get away from the traditional smashing of the cake in the face!!!!

Tossing the bouquet

I think Anna fell and Emry was kissing her better! You can see Clint and Elizabeth doing their dance in the background and her cousin taping it for their video.

Elise and Merik looked like little professional dancers! They had so much fun!
I have more stuff on video, but I've got to figure out how to get it on my computer. So more to come later!

The past 3 weeks! May 30 to June 20

These are some of the things that have happened the past three weeks. There was always something!!!!! On the 30th of May, Clinton and I got in the car and took off for Louisiana to pick up Ellee and the boys. We drove straight there in about 20 hours. We left about 7:30 am and got there about 1 am Sunday! We slept all morning Sunday and relaxed with the kids. Then left for Arizona Monday morning and drove straight through! The boys were real troopers. And as you can see by the pictures, they did pretty good!
Geoffrey getting his boys buckled in and saying goodbye!

I got the boys a "Cars" sticker book to play with. Gavin decided the stickers belonged on his head instead of on the paper!

I love this picture of Clint and Merik. They had a good time back there in the back seat!
Gavin using Clint's head as a race way for his car!
Gavin kept trying to get out of his seat - can't really blame him - but he discovered he could twist his way out of the seat belt. Clinton was trying to get him back in - I think Gavin was winning! But we got him back in - several times!
Playing with the cousins!
Jumping on the trampoline with water! Merik figured out how to make it rain!
Kensi and Gavin having fun on the couch!

The cousins all had a play day down at the mall!

Riding the Zebra and the Horsey on the carousel (sp?)
So we had a few days to relax before Saturday, the 6th of June, when Stanley and I left for girls camp. This year we got put in Main camp! It was different but nice. We had a great time!

Our compound.
It's become a tradition to have some kind of sweet time with the stake presidency. This year it was several different flavors of Thrifty ice cream. But before they get the sweets, they have to sing! And this year it was "Act Naturally" by Buck Owens! Stanley gets them in the mood with a lesson on "Twang" and then sings a line and they repeat. It's so fun!!!!!
He moved outside at one point and later Pres. Powell took over and did a few! Wish I had a picture of that one! The stake presidency did their own skit this year. They did a great job! I have that on video too. If I can figure out how to get it off my camera onto the computer, I'll post it later! We left girls camp Tuesday night - the girls left Wednesday morning!
Friday! Clinton and Elizabeths wedding! I'll be putting all their pictures in a seperate post after this one! They got married Friday at 5:15. We were worried it would be hot! But we were blessed with a tender mercy! The weather was perfect, even with the sun shining on us! We then went to the wedding dinner. Thanks to all those who helped with cooking the food and helping in the kitchen. Everything turned out great! I only have video of some of the things that were said about Clint and Elizabeth - some real funny stuff! They are so cute together! Saturday was the reception and it was beautiful! Didn't look like a cultural hall at all! It was kind of different to have two days, but it was pretty relaxed for us. I don't know about Elizabeths family - they did an awesome job getting it all set up!
Then on Tuesday was Emmee's baby shower! Can you believe that we didn't take ONE SINGLE PICTURE?!?!?!?!?!!? I can't believe it either! I don't know what happened! But she had a great turnout and recieved lots of very nice gifts to use for her little Bensen! The very next day, Dallon and I and Ellee and Merik and Gavin were on the road AGAIN!!!!!
Stanley saying goodbye to the boys and making sure they're buckled in! We took two days this time to go home - stopped in Odessa for a good nights rest!
SHHHHH! Gavin is sleeping! Really! He's asleep under that blankie!
We stopped at Sonic for lunch and I had a cherry limeade. The boys loved sucking on the limes after I was done!
It's kind of hard to see, but that's the crazy storm we went through just outside of VanHorn, TX. We think it was a mini derecho. There was crazy wind with lots of dust - I almost thought we were going to have to pull over and wait, then there was lots of rain and hail!!!!! Not real fun to drive through!
This is looking back after we got through it. The sun was shining through the clouds and very pretty!
The boys had lots of fun in the back seat next to each other. They were doing raspberries and having a grand time!
Ellee and I were jamming out to some tunes and having fun!
The many positions of a nap in a car!!!!!

Trying to get a picture with the boys before we left Friday morning - Mr. Gavin "I don't" want to do it! We had a great time with Ellee and the boys and it was sad to leave them in Louisiana! But Geoffrey only has two more weeks of school and graduates the end of July. Pray for them to find a good job closer to home! We took two days going home too - stopping in Odessa again. It was a great 3 weeks full of fun and activities! But I'm glad it's over! I'm exhausted!
