Boy! Oh Boy! What a baby!First thing the nurse said when she was cleaning him up was "You should see this kids toes!" He had such wide shoulders that one of his collar bones broke when he was born and we didn't know it until 2 weeks later when I took him in for his check-up and asked the doctor what the knot was on his collar bone. He said, "Oh, looks like it broke coming through the birth canal. It's pretty common!" Common?!? Not for me! My goodness! What a trooper! Never complained once! So mellow! And hungry! He ate EVERY TWO HOURS until he was nine months old! I nursed him for nine months - the longest I nursed any of my children!
Can you see those long toes!
Such a cutie! Three kids - all different!
This is at a fathers and sons outing. Stanley let the boys take their bikes. Burton was going downhill and hit a rock and biffed it! Cut his head open right above the eyebrow! Stanley brought him home, took him to the pediatrician and got him stitched up there in the office and they went back to have more fun!
Burton has ALWAYS had the best bed hair!
Can't do this anymore! This was in the good old days! Pre 9/11. Leaving for Brazil on his mission with the whole family at the gate!
With his beautiful bride! Burton has a sweet, sensitive side and a very humorous side. He says the funniest things - right out of the blue! And very talented - rebuilding a diesel truck, learning to fly, working and helping. He's grown into quite a handsome man - inside and out! Happy May Birth Day Baby Boy!
