Clint and Elizabeth's wedding photos

Okay, I know it's May and they aren't getting married until June, but they decided to get their wedding pictures taken before it's 120 degrees outside! Smart! Too bad we don't know the weather weeks ahead of time, this week would have been even more perfect with the rain and clouds and cooler weather! Oh well! Here's the link to look at the pictures the photographer put up.

Only 3 more weeks!
Check out Elizabeth's blog too!

My May baby!

Boy! Oh Boy! What a baby!First thing the nurse said when she was cleaning him up was "You should see this kids toes!" He had such wide shoulders that one of his collar bones broke when he was born and we didn't know it until 2 weeks later when I took him in for his check-up and asked the doctor what the knot was on his collar bone. He said, "Oh, looks like it broke coming through the birth canal. It's pretty common!" Common?!? Not for me! My goodness! What a trooper! Never complained once! So mellow! And hungry! He ate EVERY TWO HOURS until he was nine months old! I nursed him for nine months - the longest I nursed any of my children!
Can you see those long toes!
Such a cutie! Three kids - all different!

This is at a fathers and sons outing. Stanley let the boys take their bikes. Burton was going downhill and hit a rock and biffed it! Cut his head open right above the eyebrow! Stanley brought him home, took him to the pediatrician and got him stitched up there in the office and they went back to have more fun!

Burton has ALWAYS had the best bed hair!

Can't do this anymore! This was in the good old days! Pre 9/11. Leaving for Brazil on his mission with the whole family at the gate!
With his beautiful bride! Burton has a sweet, sensitive side and a very humorous side. He says the funniest things - right out of the blue! And very talented - rebuilding a diesel truck, learning to fly, working and helping. He's grown into quite a handsome man - inside and out! Happy May Birth Day Baby Boy!

Burton's FLASH scare!

So the electrical trade can be pretty dangerous! Burton found that out yesterday. He plugged in two extension cords and they arc'd and there was a flash fire. It burned his shirt and his thumbs and pointing fingers.

As you can see, it burned one thumb pretty good! He went to NextCare and they wanted him to go to the emergency room. He went to Banner Gateway and they looked at it and decided he needed to go see the pro's at the burn unit in Phoenix. They didn't know how deep it went - could have gone as far as the tendon's. They looked at it, said his fingers and right thumb would be okay, but his left thumb would need some extra care. They cut the blister part out and gave him some salve and bandages to put on it and want to see him again on Friday to make sure it doesn't get infected.
This is after he got home. You can see his "tag" and his left thumb. It could have been so much worse. Sorry Ellee for not telling you sooner - it was a very busy day getting ready for the May birthday party, etc.

Clint and Elizabeths engagement pictures

I can't post one of them on here cuz I can't copy and paste it! But you can go look at them. They turned out really cute! I was hoping that Elizabeth would post it, but she's crazy busy with wedding plans and house fixing up plans!

The photographer put together a nice little slide show with music!
Enjoy!

Benson, Kensi and the remodel

Isn't he cute! This is Emmee's little Bensen - 3D is so weird, but nice!

She's eating a grahm cracker sandwich cookie with chocolate frosting in the middle. Only she took it apart to eat the middle! She probably eats Oreo's the same way!

This is the accoustic tile in the office. He's working on the front room and hallway now.

This is my glamour shot - ragging the wall with a walmart plastic bag. It was really messy and my arm aches after doing three walls! Luckily there is a large gap on one wall and a window in the other!

This is the finished wall! Looks alright! I'm getting kinda excited to decorate it!
