Pumpkins!

Well, it's that time of year! FALL!
We got this idea from someone elses blog, she has some great decorating ideas! If you'd like to see how she did it, you can go to: bloggingwithholly.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
And look for the post that says "Passionate about pumpkins" (August 17th). The only thing I did different than her was tuck in the corners at the bottom to make it more square/rectangle and I rounded the top corners at the top. They are so fun and easy to do. My girls are coming over
tomorrow to make them! I went crazy buying material for it!

1- Where did you meet? In high school, he was in my seminary class and loved to tease me!
2- How long did you date before you were married? 3 years 3 months - 2 in high school, 1 before his mission, can't really count the 2 years he was gone on his mission, unless you can count writing letters every week (that would make it 5 years), and 3 months after he got home.
3- How long have you been married for? 30 years in October
4- What does he do that surprises you? Let's me go on vacation without him, just the kids and then shows up to surprise us at the Palmyra temple! He has brought me flowers a few times which was very nice.
5- What's your favorite feature about him? His beautiful blue eyes - but really - ALL of him!
6- What's your favorite quality about him? His desire to please his Heavenly Father and me.
7- Does he have a nickname for you? No, not really
8- What's his favorite color? Blue
9- What's his favorite food? Home cooking, his mothers pumpkin pie, good ice cream
10-What is his favorite sport? Whatever his kids are doing at the time.
11- Who said I love you first? It's been 30 years - I don't really remember!
12- When and where was your first kiss? Watching a movie - on our second date.
13-What's your favorite thing to do as a couple? Talk about our dreams and plans and be romantic
14-Do you have kids? 3 beautiful girls with 3 very handsome husbands, 4 very handsome sons with 2 beautiful wives and 7 grandchildren
15- What's a hidden talent that he has? He doesn't really keep his talents hidden.
16- How old is he? 51 - he's older than me for only 6 more days!
17- What's his favorite type of music? Old country/western - Johnny Horton, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Marty Robbins, etc.
18- What do you admire most about him? He's always working - he hardly ever stops. If it isn't work/work, it's church/work.
19-What's his favorite past time? Turning his brain off by watching TV or an old movie from our vast collection.
20- Do you think he is going to read this? No, probably not. I don't think he's ever looked at the family blog unless I make him look at one of his grandkids that's on it.
