pictures of the past

These are some pictures Aunt Louise brought with her and I scanned.
I was about 13 when I got to go to Utah to visit Aunt Louise and Uncle William and it snowed! Who looks like me?

Here's Uncle William, Grandpa Glasgow and dad in the front room at the house on Jarvis!

And this is Lane, Laird and Uncle William horsing around in front of the couch! Don't you just love that couch! It's about 1967 or 68!

Grandpa's sisters

We had a wonderful visit with Aunt Mary, Uncle Ralph, Aunt Louise and Uncle William. The first picture is of Grandma with Aunt Mary on her right and Aunt Louise on her left. The next picture is of Aunt Mary and her husband, Uncle Ralph, and the next picture is of Aunt Louise and her husband Uncle William - sorry it's sideways, it wasn't that way before and I don't know how to fix it! The last picture was taken a couple days before. Maeley was in time out and very sad! She wanted her mom. It's really my fault for having chocolate in my bedroom where she can get it!

Some new ones for ya

I decided to rake some leaves yesterday before it rained. Geoffrey just left for work and the boys were taking naps so I went and started on the front yard. I got one bag full before the boys woke up. I decided to put them in our new double jogging stroller/stroller while I filled up one more bag. They seemed to like it, being in the stroller and all. Which means I know they'll love it when we go for our jogs. {I say jogging stroller/stroller because the front wheel locks and unlocks to make into a jogging stroller/ reg. double stroller} It's a nice smooth ride and cant wait to get my jog on.

Grandpa's funeral

Brothers and sons taking dad out of the hearse.

Walking with the casket

This is the my brothers and sisters and mom in front of the casket.

And this is our family behind the casket. It was a beautiful day, couldn't ask for a better day. The Lord's tender mercies are wonderful!

Anybody need a babysitter?

I was getting the kids things together this morning upstairs and sent Karsen downstairs to check on the baby. When I came downstairs this is how I found her. Karsen was so proud of himself for keeping her contained and from eating stuff she finds on the floor.

New Year's Eve

Our New Year's Eve wasn't too exciting. We had dinner with the kids, gave them baths, and afterward lit some sparklers in the back yard, put them to bed, and then after watching a guy beat Evel Kanival's (sp?) record of the longest jump on a motorcycle we went to bed. At dinner we did this fun tradition that people in England do. They are called Holiday Crackers and basically you pull both sides and when it rips open it pops like a firework and inside is a prize/novelty item, a paper crown, and a piece of paper with advice on it. The kids thought it was great and hopefully we can continue the tradition - maybe next year I'll make my own out of toilet paper rolls and actually put something good in them. Karsen got a car, which maeley ate the wheels off of after dinner, Maeley got a whoopee cushion, I got toe nail clippers, and Steve got a small screw driver set. Anyway, here are the pictures from that. Happy New Year!
