Look at the new baby! Maeley was really excited to see her new sister, Kensington!

Kensington Bird arrived about 7:15 PM on April 28th, 2007, (Grandpa's birthday!)weighing in at 6 lbs. 13 oz. and has dark hair.
Mom and baby are doing great!

Dad's birthday

Dad's 50th Birthday!

We had strawberry shortcake, so no candles. We didn't want to burn the house down!

The next picture is of Dad and the grandkids helping him open his present. Elise was very helpful! The next picture is of Dad looking at his presents, but if you look closely, you can see Karsen really having fun with the paper. He was crunching it up and unfolding it and doing it again - making lots of noise and lots of faces! The last picture is of Merik trying to get outside. If he was inside, that's what he was doing - begging to go outside! He loves going outside. We had dinner - bar-b-que - outside and he was in heaven! He hated to come in! We had a great birthday, especially at 8:00 pm when Kadee called to announce the birth of their little girl! What a birthday present!

My little boys

So merik decided to wake up at 6:00 this morning. I was just getting to sleep after sending Geoffrey off to work and feeding the baby. I was not to happy. So I gave him a Banana and some water and went back to bed. I woke up an hour later and this is what I found. Merik is now wanting to hold his brother. I love it. Yesterday Merik was lying down next to Gavin and started talking to him, Gavin got the biggest smile on his face. Every time Merik started talking Gavin started smiling. Gavin still wont smile at me. I think it's because they are already best friends and they have a special pre-existence relationship. I love my boys. I cant wait for Gavin to get older so they can entertain each other.

Walking across a bridge in Teresina the day of zone conference.

After we finished a service project for our man francisco. He is going to build his house on this land. Look at how ripped his arm is! This guy is crazy! It was alot of fun, i got so sun burned!

Haha! this was a funny story. I let Heitor, the first man we baptised cut my hair. Bad Mistake! He was trying to give me like a rat tail or something. I was so embarrased to go outside, but i had to. I turned alot of heads, haha! Dont worry though, i wont be doing it again.

Elder Lawlor

Miracles in Campo Maior!

This man was the first man we baptised this transfer. I dont know how to rotate it though, sorry. He was the first of many miracles we have had here. He is the one i told to go bare his testimony, and he did and he cried. He is way way cool! He helps us out alot to. His name is Heitor.

These are two of the men we baptised this transfer. Luciano, and Genivon; brothers and sons of the man in the red hat. The man with the tie is the member that gave us the reference.

Marcelo was the fourth man we baptised. His friend Lindomar is on the very left. I got to baptise him. He is doing awesome in the church too. He is so cool!

Here is man number five! Francisco. He is the dad of those other two. He took awhile longer, because of coffee and cigarettes. He is 57 years old too! He is such a funny old man. He is ripped too! His muscles are so big. I love him.

This is man number 6! He is the nephew of the branch president. His name is Hernandes, on the left. The Branch president is Presidente Almeida, on the right. Hernandes was also a great miracle!

The Grand Canyon

Steve & I were able to take a quick little trip last weekend before the new baby comes. We decided to go up North and take the Grand Canyon Railway from Williams, AZ to the Grand Canyon (I've never been). We had a great time and it was awesome to finally view this natural wonder in real life! I understand now why my parents never took us kids. There are 2 pictures of us on the train - one of which we are getting robbed! There is also one of a goat on the side of the mountain just having a snack - we could figure out how he got there or how he would get down. And then there are couple of us with the canyon in the background - one of which you can see the Colorado River in the background.

track and baptism

Here is Emmee and Dallon at the tribune relays, warming up. Emmee is fixing her pony tail and Dallon is on the opposite side, by the person sitting on the chair. Then we have pictures of them doing their events. Emmee doing triple jump and Dallon doing long jump. The only problem is the pit official standing in front of Dallon doing his jump! Then we have Dallon and Ashley. Ashley is Jamie Hagar's girlfriend. Jamie is Bonnie Solheim's grandson. He's not 16 yet, so Ashley asked Dallon to baptize her. He had a wonderful experience doing it and felt so good afterward, he told the missionaries that he can't wait to go on his mission! He did a great job and only did it once - perfectly!

Dallon's doing's

The first picture is of Dallon using the trencher to dig out a tree near the beginning of the year. The next two pictures are of the overnight/hike they just went on this week-end (April 13 & 14). I couldn't tell you where they went, but they had fun!

Easter pics

Just a few more pictures from our non-digital camera. It was beautiful weather, just perfect and the kids had a great time picking up Easter eggs, especially when they opened them and found candy!

Here are a few new picture of the Pettit bunch. Gavin just turned one month yesterday. he's getting so big already. Merik decided to lay next to him today. He just wanted to talk to the baby. I grabbed the camera as fast I could and got lucky. Then there is Geoffrey and I being goofy one night. We don't take pictures of ourselves that often. But this is very recent.

Our hike

In February we took the kids on a hike up Cardon Hill (not sure if that's exactly what it's called) the little hill just west of Ellsworth Rd and off of Brown Rd - The one that RM CrossCountry Team always had to run to and back during practice. Anyway, these are pictures from that. The kids did really well surprisingly. I had to stop more than they did due to contractions. I also took some pictures of the construction of the 202 Freeway that is coming through Brown Rd. My intention was to send it off to Clint for him to see but I haven't done that yet - hopefully this works and he'll be able to see them and not have to wait for me to send them to him.

Salt Lake Trip

We had a wonderful time in Salt Lake for General Conference. Here we are outside the Temple. The weather was beautiful, crisp, and slightly chilly!
And outside the Tabernacle on Saturday afternoon, just before the afternoon session started. They rededicated the tabernacle during that session.
Where's Clinton!
We wish he was here with us!
