Stuck Sketches August 15th

you are to use the sketch and colour inspiration from the stuck blog header colours - red, blue and green with neutral.

Here is the page that I have created for this challenge. It is of the boys enjoying the old fashion way of washing clothes. We visited Macarthur Farm in Parramatta which is a living museum which meant lots of fun hands on activities from way back. You were even allowed to sit on the furniture. I t was so nice to go to a place and let the kids explore the house for themselves.

Destiny

Life.Paper.Scrapbook - August Sketch Challenge
So glad I was able to get this page done today, I have been very lucky and had some relief teaching work for the past 4 days so life has been very busy and tiring with the new routine.
Here is the sketch that we had to work with:

Great Sketch to work with, I wanted to try something a bit different so instead of putting in  a circle I used a chipboard tree in the background to frame the photos of my son Liam.

The page is about Destiny and how it has been so wonderful to bring my children back to the beach I grew up near and loved so much. In the background is the same tree I played under as a child and my mum took so many photos of us. Hopefully destiny will live on for more generations.

Make a Wish

Bird is the Word : New Challenge Word Release *CELEBRATE*
CELEBRATE is a fun word.  We all like celebrations - whether they are for birthdays, holidays or family traditions. 

Have left this challenge to last days.. have started doing a bit of relief teaching so scrapbooking has not been so productive this month.

I have used Heather's lovely sketch to base my page on. It is of my daughter Kate's 10th Birthday last year. It was a real celebration for everyone, for us as parents seeing our little girl achieving so much and for Kate to have so many of her lovely friends to share her day with her.
