A tribute to Channel U and Channel i...

Hai... just saw this advert on Ch 8 which is promoting tian cai go go go, pi li huo at diff time slots on Ch U starting tomorrow, the background music goes to the tune of 'Do the Hustle' which is also heard in the Yellow Pages advert la... so I think Ch8 really no creativity... then all the adverts same format one, damn sian if you look at it over and over again... furthermore there's no video footage, just half-animated graphics, which makes it even duller... bah!

Hai... so I really think that it's a waste that Ch U and i have been handled the fate they are going to face tomorrow... especially liked the Ch U's FINALE 'tai ju' 0. It's amazing how they managed to hand everyone, including a few cameramen, shooting crew etc a role in this show... then there's 'Jie Tou Da Pai Dang' (Streetwise), also very creative show...

So I just want to say, Ch U rocks man... (forever...) Thanks to MediaWorks for all the 4 years... Ha if Zoe sees this she'll be rather happy man, she's a fellow supporter of Ch U too, haha! :D
Is new year's eve day the day of giving, or what?

Ha I'd like to congratulate myself for having successfully changed my blog template... completed it in half an hour last night just before I turned in to bed... I finally mastered the basics of html editing! Yeah! :O

Oh man, can't believe 2004 is coming to an end so soon!!! Argh!!! Though there's the tsunami that dented the hopes of many who would like to end the year on a high note, it's been a smooth sailing year for me... Let me recount what happened today first before I type my last words for the year on this blog...

This morning I woke up at 9.45am, the sky looking so damn gloomy... Thought I woke up so early at 8am or something but actually it wasn't... So since it was raining the jogging trip already 'mian tan', so had my usual breakfast consisting of Honey Stars cornflakes... Then at around 12 plus went out with mum to library, wanted to return books and borrow new ones... Found a PC Mag that featured how they test USB thumbdrives under different conditions... Interesting article... so I borrowed the mag home. Then before we reached the lib just outside CS there was a Salvation Army box for tsunami victims, so my mum donated $10, then not long after another volunteer from SAGE asked her for donations again... After that just outside TM yet another volunteer from a charitable organisation asked for donations... Then when reach home my mum visited the CNA website and come across the Red Cross website, so donated yet another small sum thru SMS... It's really the season to be giving man...

And I saw MengHwee and Zhenghao during the time I was out of my house...

Now to talk about my memories of 2004... of course just before the start of 2004, in 2003 there was the Sec1 orientation prog but I hadn't got a blog then so I'll talk abt it now... Remembered I was OGLeader of grp 25, then there were all these cute juniors who looked so innocent and hoping they will get a memorable orientation. Then there was the sports games which my group excelled in cos there was a Captain's Ball game and I took part too, so obviously my OG won la... haha... In the end managed to psycho one of my OGmembers to join HO. Then starting next monday I'll be relegated from an OGLeader to a OGmember when I join RJ... Ha! :S

So there's also the time where I had to teach the Sec1s how to blow the harmonica... Then there was this occasion where I introduced the 'rest' to them, in a typical harmonica musical score it is denoted as a 0 (zero) so I drew a 0 on the board and said ' this is not an egg, it is a zero '... haha the sec1s won't forget this man...

Of course there's also 4J, the most creative class of the year! Yeah! haha... Thanks for the memories man... then there's the O Levels, prom nite, HO farewell, Council farewell, the class chalet... Wooh, there's a lot of things done this holidays... Couple it with 3 movies(Princess Diaries, Nat Treasure, Kung Fu) 6/7 books(Confidence, Murder on the Orient Express, Crashing Computers, Digital Fortress, Da Vinci Code, Deception Pt {ha still reading this, most likely have to carry it over to the new year} ) I must say I had a very very fruitful holiday...

And lastly at 12am today, it might be 2005, but it also marks the closing down of MediaWorks... Just saw the FINALE of Ch U's 0 (ling lou), hai... why must there be a media merger? If only both Mediacorp/Works had the funding to stem their losses, then this wouldn't happen at all...

So let's hope for a better year ahead! To all my friends: happy new year, merry X'mas! (X'mas isn't over yet till 5 jan, cos there's the 12 days of X'mas!)

Preparing for Orientation...

According to Weiqi her og leader had called her just this evening to tell her about RJ's orientation prog starting 3rd Jan... so I thought my ogl will call soon, and he did! haha... Too bad me, Yu hui and Weiqi will likely be in different og s, but I'm looking forward to it... Heard there could be an outing to the cinema or have dinner together on one or more of the orientation days... Yeah... :)

Can't believe one year passed so quickly... Just not long ago the Sec1 orientation for AHS to-be sec1s ended, and this reminds me of last year's orientation for the sec1s... Remembered that I led OG 25 with Dione and Audrey, and managed to psycho one of my members (Wei Ling) to join HO... haha! Then just now I was chatting with one HO junior (Jing yi) and she said her og leader (who happens to be Sok shin, another of my HO junior) half-psychoed her to join HO...

So I really can't believe that from being an og leader just last year I'll become an og member next year! Aaaahhhh.... :P
Just 2 more days left of 2004??? :(

Firstly I'd like to congratulate myself haha... for managing to add in music to my blog and retrieve the old tagboard... Also notice that the classified blogs list has grown longer! Yeah! :P

Woke up at 9.30 am today... was dragged out of bed by my mum cos she wants me to go jogging at the nearby park to train up my stamina, so she also followed. Seems like I still have a phobia of doing broad jumps(especially without a mat)... Must try to overcome it ASAP... Tried wearing my England T-shirt and Reebok track pants which were bought very long ago... (ha I look just like the goalkeeper from Crystal Palace-Gabor Kiraly... who also likes to wear track pants...)

After running around the pavement for 10 mins I stopped jogging then went over to NTUC to shop for groceries... Later this afternoon still have to go out again to collect magazines... Then after shopping at NTUC we decided to buy McDonald's breakfast home, but on the way saw Jing Yi and Zoe, so 'da zhao hu' to them... Thought HO prac was over so early at 11am... Apparently it's not... it starts at 1pm today according to Wen Rong... so I suppose they are going to school after walking around TM.(Oh and I forgot to mention on MONDAY when waiting for my classmates at Pasir Ris MRT I saw Qin Qin and Rebecca... haha... still asked them why they were there then they answered: we live here what! haha... so duh! :P)

Then came home to do some shifting of furniture and cleaning up. After typing this I've got to clear up my table, read finish Dan Brown's Deception Point, so I'll blog tonight again... Bye! :)

Feel the power of Zen Micro!

Yeah... my zen micro is finally functional... think most of you should know liao lah cos of my msn nick... ok... I shall not talk about it anymore if not Qingwei will accuse me of being 'haolian' again... (Note: A news report said that Teochews are the most haolian of the dialect groups... wonder if that's true or not. anyway i'm not 100% teochew also, just 50%. and you won't believe that I can't speak or understand teochew... cantonese maybe...)

WEDNESDAY: Kung Foo Hustle...

Met Xiu Yu at Tamp MRT at 11 this morning, and again Qingwei was late... Before that I met Wang Zi at the crossing between TM and the MRT station. He was looking for a job. Then at the station I also saw Fatima, Yin wen and Meng Hwee but they weren't following us. They had their own prog. Qingwei finally arrived 10 mins later.

So we took the train to City Hall where we were supposed to meet Shi Jia, Zhen Yi, Yu hui at Citylink Mall. So we were the 4th to arrive. Walked over to Suntec City Eng Wah cinema only to realise that the movie Kung fu hustle was not applicable for any free passes. So that means no discount for the 8 of us who wanted to catch this movie... Boo... ;'( Ruofan and Jin Lai found their way here after we bought the tickets. It was almost 1pm already.

We had lunch at Kopitiam. Following that Yu hui said he wanted to buy drinks from Carrefour but realised that it was closed for Stocktaking. Then when Ruofan tried to walk near the entrance the alarm suddenly went off... haha...

Our movie started at 1.30 sharp. Caught a glimpse of Meet the Fockers trailer. It's really like what Tiffany had described to me yesterday...

The show ended at 3.10 approx but I felt it didn't deserve a 4 star rating from Straits times and 4 and a half from New Paper. If it was me I'd just give a 3 1/2 at most. No plot one... The only thing I like is the action scenes which some said mimicked that of the Matrix, also there was one line 'With great power comes great responsibility' which definitely came from Spiderman. Recognised some actors/actresses like Yuan Hua from HK drama serial 'Zhen Qing'.

When we were out we saw Guang Feng, then Jin Lai wanted to try out the arcade games again. So he played a round of football then me, Ruofan and him played a racing game. After that on the way to Citylink Mall I met Pang Ker and the other TPS classmates like Ying ying, Alex, Shi Han, Yong Hui, Phileo etc. Apparently Daphne was the organiser of that outing but I wasn't informed haha...

Then at Esplanade we visited library@esplanade, listened to some music, walked to its rooftop terrace, took some photos. Also tried out their glass lifts(response damn slow man). Then we walked down to street level again, but Shi Jia and Xiu Yu wanted to visit the Merlion so we went there to look at the sea. Then we don't know where else to go cos some said they wanted to have dinner outside while me and Jin Lai wanted to go home and have dinner. So I brought them to Caltex House near Raffles Place MRT, then we took some more photos. Following that Jin Lai and me headed for the MRT entrance while the rest walked over to Caltex House. (Qing wei still said next time I'll be working in one of the office buildings there... haha... not in a million years man QW! maybe you'll be the one...)

Hope that's not the last time we'll see each other again! Ha... there's still O level result day... only 6 more days to sch reopen... Let's hope 'wo men hou hui you qi ba'! ~~~...

Now to blog about yesterday and today's happenings. Monday's happenings is below this one.

Tuesday: Class Chalet
Met Qingwei, Yu hui, Jin Lai for breakfast at McDonalds located in White Sands. As usual Qingwei was late, but he said it wasn't his fault cos his mum delayed him for something... Yet when Yu hui called his home, his mum said QW's a 'chi dao da wang' haha... Zhen Yi joined us later.

The shuttle bus to Aloha Changi didn't arrive till 10.50 so Jin Lai went up to the arcade to play a game of virtual soccer. Then when he scored a goal the game machine 'hanged' so he had to start the tournament again. Fortunately he still won the Finals.

So the 5 of us reached the bungalow at nearly 11.30 but it was raining, so no soccer for us... Then I brought a badminton racket along yet no one wanted to play or had to racket. Received a X'mas card and bookmark (self made) from Joanne the monitress... So we played 'tai tee' while many other classmates also played Bridge or tai tee. Went out for lunch at Changi Village then we 5 boys walked along Changi Beach to collect seashells. I found one and another mussel shell(can be found in NTUC one) Then at 2.30 all of us gathered back at Changi Village Bus Terminal to meet Dawn, Yi Xuan and Tiffany. When we got back to the chalet we started the waterbomb game... yeah yeah why must there be one at every chalet stay??? I got half wet.

We had a steamboat dinner, with 21 or so people cramming around two tables and one steamboat cooker(the other one was malfunctioning). Then right after the steamboat finished the 5 of us wanted to take a walk out to Changi beach for a walk, but Joanne requested that we also bring Hanjie and Xuan Yun to the bus stop, while Cindy peng, Charlynn wanted to follow us on our night walk too. So by the time we walked to Changi Beach club it was past 8.30 (Jin Lai wanted to rush back to the chalet to watch Extreme Gourmet cos it featured Jeanette Aw, his 'idol') We saw some navy divers in the sea from the kelong walk and enjoyed the night scenery(well there isn't much to see anyway since everything's so dark)

So we reached the chalet at 9, but Jin lai couldn't catch Extreme Gourmet cos the others wanted to watch 'Bi Xue Jian' on Ch U. So we 5 went into the room to play 'tai tee' until 10, when we took a 1/2 class photo. Jin Lai left with Yu hui right after that while QW, Zhen Yi stayed behind to tompang my dad's car. Then there was one moment where Tiffany and Wei wei were taking a picture, and either Dawn or Yi Xuan commented that they look like a 'les' couple with that particular pose... haha...

At 11.15pm my dad arrived( he mistook Bungalow 1 for Chalet 1) so me, QW, Zhen Yi left, while the rest of the classmates went out for a walk(even though it was raining) According to Tiffany, at 1.25am she sent me a SMS saying they were at Changi Village having supper...

Kung Foo Hustle...

I know I've not been blogging for 3 days and I'm not online for 2 days, so here I am today trying to recall all the happenings of the past few days. Actually just before typing this I had to 'repair' my blog as the template seemed to have gone bonkers(yet again... :@) so I thought it was best to do it ASAP... Do you like the new white-black layout? Kind of reminds me of Jackie Cheung's 'Hei Yu Bai' CD (in stores now! haha) And what about the opening pop up before you enter this site? Please post your comments on the tagboard. I'll try my best to post some pics up here too, if possible. Now do I realise that editing HTML can be a taxing job... Phew... (as a precautionary measure I saved my template in a word file haha!) And sorry, one tagboard has disappeared cos when the template went bonkers I lost its HTML code, only the other one could be recovered. So there you have it, a tagboard powered by TAGBOARD! Yeah! (clap clap...)

Now I shall recount the past 3 days happenings.

MONDAY: Council Helps out in Sec 1 Orientation Night game section
Was supposed to meet at Pasir Ris MRT to go to the class chalet in Changi. While I was waiting for a train at Tampines I saw Zhen Yi(he said he walked from Tamp to Tanah Merah and back again before we met) then Lee Hui, Kia Boon, Chee Yun and Stacy also took the same train with us. Our group was the first to arrive at Pasir Ris... Then Qingwei, Jin lai, Perry followed. So we took the shuttle bus to Aloha Changi check-in office at 3.30pm.

The chalet(Fairy Pt Bung 1) was a 10 min walk from the site office but while on the way there we saw Irene Ang filming under a Changi tree for 'Ming Xing Da Zhen Tan' or some Ch8 programme by this name... When we finally reached the bungalow Ying hui, Pang ker, Charlene, and a few other 4J classmates were already waiting outside. The girls were preparing for a BBQ that night but too bad I had to go to school to organise Council Night Game for the to-be sec ones orientation programme.

So I played soccer with the boys for a while then I had to leave(something happened just before that, regarding some young boys at the field, don't wish to talk to much crap but if you're interested can visit Qingwei's blog. he was quite pissed off by the incident) At 4.45pm I left the chalet and had to walk out for 5 mins before reaching a bus 29 bus stop. The only bus I could take to reach Tampines and the only bus service available there.

Then on the bus Wang Zi called me(or was it the other way round?) But Brynner told him to request that I buy some B'day candles for the Night Game... I thought since I was heading back to Tamp I might as well go home, get the candles, have dinner, then set off for sch again. Fortunately my dad was on his way home, he just collected my X'mas present from Jurong East. So asked him to 'da bao' food back and ask him to send me to school later (heng ah! saved on taxi fare...)

Then I reached sch at 7 but the to be sec1s were still cleaning up, so the sec4 councillors prep for the game, Brynner gave out instructions etc etc... Then only at 8pm did all the OGs arrive and the game started. (Zu Hao and Zheng Hao also sang a few songs for the newbies and Brynner told them the 'xiao qiang' (cockroach) joke...)

I was supposed to station myself at the walkway linking the ACH and the uniformed CCA groups room, but it was raining... Then Tiffany and Ai Jia wanted to set up their station under the stairs next to the CCA rooms so I switched station positions with them... I acted like a newspaper vendor(the clue was on a newspaper report from the AHS Times... if only the sch had such a newspaper) So while the sec1s came streaming around the stations I tried to shout out to them so they took notice of me(and the clue...) Not far away from me there were sec1s screaming cos they were scared by Tiff and Ai Jia who were hiding under the stairs... haha... they even untied their hair and let it cover their faces so they could look more scary... There were a total of 6 batches of sec1s streaming out from the hall every 20 mins... So the game ended at abt 10.30 but we still had to judge their stories... By the time everything ended it was almost 12 am liao. Fortunately Mr Chua bought us councillors some 'pau' and 'siew mai' for supper....

This post took 25 mins to type out. Tuesday and wednesday's are up there. ^

Merry Boxing Day...

Haha... colourful font... perfect...

After piano lesson today went back home to prepare food for tonight's X'mas gathering with relatives. Dad prepared an assortment of veggie in a dish (thought it was called 'Lo Han Zhai' or something but actually it's not..., should be like during 'ren ri' we Chinese eat a variety of 7 veg in one dish thingy...)

This year the gathering was supposed to start at 7, but end up my 3rd uncle was still late, his family arrived at 7.30... I can't believe I'll be meeting his son(that means my cousin) in RJ next year... But, he's taking humanities elective prog, I'm just going for Science stream, so it's unlikely we'll be classmates.

Fortunately this year's presents were not clothes unlike previous years. Received a watter bottle(metal one), a watch( think it's a sample from my aunt's shop), and a T-shirt. haha...

Tomorrow I'll be busy yet again in the afternoon, have to go for class chalet then make my way to school to help out in the late afternoon for the night games... Haha... also, something will most likely arrive tomorrow (the hint is in my nick...)

Ok so that's all for today! And I hope the tagboard will work properly soon(and it better be!!!) :@ Sorry for the inconvenience caused these few days to visitors to my blog!

Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell rock...

Hmm... heard one song on YES 933FM that has a line like the title of this post... Can anyone tell me the actual Title of the original song and who sang it?

Anyway I thought I should mention that in the whole year I think only on Dec 24 and 25 will the most people be online on MSN... A record of 25 people in all at its peak for tonight... haha... :)

And I think my blog is a little too plain... hopefully I can upload some pics on it or change the colour of the template... but I can tell you it's not easy to accomplish! :P
It's still merry x'mas... What else can I put down as a title for today?

Firstly, I'm glad to announce that more of my friends blogs have been added to the panel on the right! haha...

Went to my godbro's house today at 2pm... Couldn't reach there earlier cos my father ordered fish tanks and was due to deliver today, and in the afternoon, so got no choice but to wait for the delivery man to come...

So my godbro and I spent the afternoon playing FIFA 05, while my two godsisters were still out with their grandparents.. heard they went to Changi Airport for lunch then take a train ride around S'pore or something...

At 5.30pm the two of us went down to the field next to my godbro's house, but there were already groups of people playing soccer there... Fortunately there was one spot between two palm trees that was not taken up, so we could have our routine Penalty Kick/ Free Kick/ Whatever Kick practice... It's so hard to get a shot past my godbro... think my shooting skills 'hai mei you dao jia'...

Then we returned at almost 7pm for dinner, following that we continued to play com games until 10.30pm, also watched a bit of Finding Nemo on Disney Channel... So practically the whole day we had been playing FIFA 05, soccer and nothing else... Now then I realise it's so boring... :P

Surprisingly I haven't received any X'mas presents(except some money from my godmum today), cos the presents will come tomorrow during a gathering at my relatives' house and some other present will arrive on 27 dec... The hint lies in my nick...

Hmmm... so besides bloggin about today's happenings, think the other thing I can do is to wish all those who are reading this blog a Merry X'mas! :)

P.S: Here's a SMS that my godbro received today, thought it was very funny. (can't remember the whole thing, but it's something like this la...)

I would like to send you a ringtone(or song) since it's X'mas time. Do you accept? YES

haha... have a good laugh...

Merry X'mas! Where's the rain I've been hoping for???

Imagine you're in a car with the fuel meter pointed at the "E" sign. Empty tank. Then the car starts to drive out of the HDB carpark headed towards Orchard Road on X'mas Eve(the clue:X'mas eve!) haha... fortunately my father's car didn't go dead in the middle of Orchard Road without petrol or else the consequences would be unthinkable...

As usual, like in previous years, me and my parents had X'mas Eve dinner at Jacks Place, but this year at a different location: Eastpoint Mall. The last two years we had dinner at their Hougang Central outlet. I made a reservation at 1pm today, only to be told that I'll be put on a waiting list... Fortunately when we arrived there at 7.00pm we had to wait no longer than 20 mins. Managed to use this time to read finish The Da Vinci Code.

Then this afternoon I went out with my mum to buy Dan Brown's Deception Point and another book entitled The Mystery of the (blah blah...) dog killed... argh! forgot the original title of this book.. but has to do with dog, mystery, night time... see if you can link the words together... Think I'm glued to Dan Brown's books already after reading Da Vinci Code and Digi Fortress... Following that we went to Breadtalk to buy a X'mas log cake. While on the way to the basement I saw two councillors on the way, the first one was Pick Yee(so 'qiao' saw her in a crowded lift, since it's crowded I didn't manage to board it la...) then if I'm not wrong not long after at the escalator I saw Dione, but she didn't notice me...

Hmmm... a few days after the posting results were released I realised that many of my classmates are going to VJ or TJ, but I'll be able to meet up with 2 other of my pri sch classmates (Daphne and Alex), my present classmate Yu hui and a 3rd lang classmate Seow ting at RJ.

Oh, and before I forget, my HO junior Wen Jun has just created a new blog, it's linked to mine already (see the right panel).

And, of course, Happy X'mas and a Merry New Year to everyone!!! (Notice anything weird about this sentence?) Too bad my X'mas present will only arrive on 27 dec. Why is this so? Hint: Look at my nick! Haha... Where is the rain??? It should be raining during X'mas time!!! :)

The problem with X'mas lights...

In my dining room a tree stands firm and tall(erm, maybe a little shorter than me)... it's not the usual tree that you will find on the streets of S'pore but rather, a X'mas tree... haha... :P Just about a month ago on 25 November I started decorating the tree and completed it within 2 days(cos my mum was hurrying me to finish the deco and be done and over with it). I decided not to drape the X'mas lights around the tree this year so the electricity bill won't explode this month (and by the way I realised the PUB and S'pore Power come to check your meters every two months haha...)

So just now my mum took out the whole long mess of X'mas lights from the cupboard, only to realise that the "speaker" which plays the X'mas jingles was still working but not the lights... Last year only alternate lightbulbs were working, but this year none of them lit up at all.. Thus I can conclude that X'mas tree lights are arranged in series, but they split them up into 2 separate series circuits... right, I'm lame-ing about again... Can't believe X'mas lights nowadays can only last for 3 years or less... Must be poor QC...

Since this set of lights went bonkers, we took out another set of lights shaped like candles which was bought only last year at Raffles City Robinsons. Fortunately they're working or else can sue the company who made the lights... just 20 "candles" cost around 10 dollars... Even a set of festive 150 lightbulbs cost the same price (or even cheaper if you buy them from pasar malam :P)

Ha and I forgot to mention this afternoon I watched an episode of Wu Zong Xian's 'Tian Cai GO GO GO' on Channel U... think it's a very good prog to train your brain memory...

Yup so that's all for today! :)

A spelling error that's been there for nearly 2 months!!!

Ha it wasn't till just now when Kelvin was messaging me online that I realise I spelt Jose Mourinho's name wrongly... I left out a 'o'... haha call myself a fan of him... Anyway thanks Kelv for spotting the error!
Deja vu...(rewind to the same day 4 years back... <<< ) Post PSLE posting day

Why is my computer desktop screen so dark???

Haha... the answer to this question is because I d/l the Creative Zen Micro wallpaper...It's all black, or at least almost all... What the hell would I be placing a Zen micro wallpaper on my desktop? Haha... leave it to you all to guess...

Anyway last night I managed to finish writing 3 X'mas cards to my friends, one of them my classmate, another a former 3rd language classmate and the last one a primary school classmate. (Thanks Keng Foo, Shi Jia for the cards!) So I posted them out this morning on my way to school to spotcheck on HO for a second time in a fortnight, hopefully it'll reach them by X'mas Eve...

So this morning at 9am I met up with Kelvin at TM McDonald's, just like last Friday. Then after we alighted from the MRT we spotted a few to-be AHS students carrying piles of books and uniforms, making their way down the Tanah Merah Kechil 'hill'...

This reminds me of PSLE posting day 4 years ago...

I could still remember the moment where Kelvin(who came from TPS too!) came up to me when the posting results were released (and don't know why not anyone else) and encouraged me to join HO... Hai... I suppose that's the reason why I'm in HO for 4 years, cos I chose to believe in his words, but anyway, I've enjoyed my time here...

And just last night I realised that one of my HO juniors, vice-pres Jie Min, was also from TPS... What a coincidence and a surprise since I've never heard her mention about TPS before till last night when I saw the testimonial she posted on Kelv's testi board saying that she's from TPS... Looks like the 3 of us have one thing in common: that is we all graduated from the same class, though in different years-6.1!!! haha... :D

During HO prac today Wen Jun was as usual very talkative and lively... no wonder Jie Min said she couldn't stop laughing last week when Wen Jun acted as a stand-in conductor as Conductor Tang was in HK. Apparently he must have exaggerated the usual actions of a conductor... Then today he acted as a vice-conductor while I conducted in front of numerous girls and one boy-that's Wen Jun... oh not forgetting some HO seniors from previous batches... Thought they're doing very well, with such easy songs like Jingle Bells and already 'shu lian' ones for eg Silver Bells and Top of the World, they SHOULD be doing well... But I listen to them blow Turkish March until near perfection I feel pleased already. Then there's also Blue Tango(nice tune!) and La Spagnola(the 'Spatula' song haha!) which are new, I suppose their Fengshan CC performance coming up on Boxing Day should be 'chicken feet' for them...

And thanks for the 'complimentary' musical scores HO! haha... The juniors allowed me to 'kop' some of the musical scores from their musical scores drawer...

Didn't manage to meet the conductor though, according to Shi hui he would be coming at 12.30pm but he still hasn't arrived then, so I decided to make a move... Then when I was about to walk down the stairs behind the stadium I saw Tiffany and Ai Jia... suppose they were in school to spotcheck on Girl Guides??? Tiffany saw me wearing the class tee and shouted something like '4J rocks' to me... I can't really remember now... Then when I was taking bus 31 home I met Pang Ker, Ying hui and two other AHS Scouts(Zhi Heng and Deslie). They were going for a LAN session in Tampines... Finally arrived home at 1pm sharp.

Wednesday, 22 December 2004

Hmmm... there are many things that I wanted to blog about(haha... is there such a term?) a few days back but it just keeps slipping off my mind so I thought I'll say it now before I forget.

For example, on 19 December 2004 I forgot to say that it's the one-month anniversary of the completion of the O levels... ok perhaps that's a lame one...

Secondly, today I was supposed to say that I went for a haircut at QB House @ TM...right, perhaps that's not important and insignificant to you all also...haha :P

And thirdly, did you all realise that I didn't say which JC I was posted to? Anyway think only my best friends know about it can liao la... don't wish to talk about it too much if not people will say I 'haolian' (especially Qing wei) haha...

Next, I forgot to mention that yesterday during night games I was supposed to hide under two tables placed in a dark corner of the school which used to be the Photographic Society dark room... It was so darn hot in there and the toilets just next to the former PS Dark room seems as though it was transformed into a Cleaner's storeroom... Anyway my station was supposed to be a 'fei' station just to scare the councillors... Then there were 5 groups of councillors(consisting of 2-3 people each) who visited my station. 2 groups saw the 'Station' sign yet they turned right instead of left and missed me completely... Perhaps they were NCC people cos they were also playing night games yesterday... what a coincidence... then there was a group of NCC students who passed by and thought I was a target, I tried to scare them but then I realised they weren't councillors after all... Fortunately they didn't spray their watergun at me, or else I'd have been wet...

So I suppose that's all I left out during the past week... If there are any other things I missed out I'll post them up another day. :)
X'mas is just 3 days away... so what?

It looks like this years X'mas doesn't seem as festive as the previous years, wonder why this is so... Perhaps if you've read today's Straits Times it says in Austria and Germany the people have designated No-Santa zones. Apparently X'mas in Europe(and I guess in S'pore and many other countries that celebrate X'mas) is becoming more commercialised with more emphasis on 'the guy with a red suit and hat'... And I also feel that perhaps the El Nino has resulted in lesser rainfall during December this year. I always feel that X'mas time should rain just like in other countries it snows... Well rain does resemble snow, just that it's different states of matter...

Anyway, I haven't been blogging for two nights(or more) though in my last blog entry I said that I've been blogging almost everyday. Not that I want to break the habit, but just because I'm too busy these few days. And I'm definitely NOT(I repeat, NOT) studying for A levels at the moment. Oh, now I remember why... cos I was entertaining my godbro(yet again...) with a battle or two of Yuri's Revenge online, and I was rushing to finish the 4th book that I've read this holidays: Dan Brown's Digital Fortress (yeah yeah he's the one who wrote the bestseller book The Da Vinci Code, think this book along with a few others written by him, topped the local bestseller chart for countless weeks already!!!) And just yesterday I started reading The Da Vinci Code. (actually I've read 6 chapters of it when I first bought it a few months back but didn't seem to enjoy it so I threw it aside until after I read Digi Fortress then I sort of appreciate Dan Brown's style of writing...)

All right, first things first... On monday I had class outing to Tampines Sports Hall, had 2 whole hours to play badminton with some of my classmates (don't know where the others disappeared to...) then at 12pm me, Pang Ker, Ying Hui, Jin Lai, Qing wei, Yu hui and two other of Pang Ker's former classmates played soccer at the nearby street soccer court. It appeared as though the street soccer court over there is way bigger (at least by a little) as compared to the school's street soccer court.

Then yesterday Brynner called me back to school to help out in the council night games since the Sec1,2,3 councillors are currently having Sec1 orientation training camp in school, so part of the programme was to play a night game(like all night games it would be scary) for the councillors to test out and give their feedback so we sec4s can plan the night game for sec1 orientation. Of course, the scare factor will not be there if not a scenario that Brynner described would happen: sec1 students coming to school late in the morning and Mrs Goh trying to question them why this was so. And their most likely answer? Because I'm scared that there are ghosts in school so I don't dare to come early... haha... may sound silly but that might be the case if we were to come up with a scary night game... Then there was a councillor who questioned why didn't they play the actual sec1 orientation night game last night, and the reply from Bry was that if we more matured students play that game we would be 'sian' to death... so most likely the actual sec1 orientation game would be non-scary but hopefully fun for the sec1s, but 'sian' to the councillors... haha...

Tomorrow I'll be going back to spotcheck on the HO juniors(again!), with Kelvin and Wei quan, hopefully the attendance is better than last week's... It better be since there's a performance coming up on Boxing Day at Fengshan CC for them...

Yup, so that's a recap of what happened for the past two days when I didn't blog. I'll stop here for now. :)

A trip to Eastpoint Mall...

It looks as if I blog everyday, is that a good or bad thing? Anyway after piano lesson today my dog had to be sent to the groomer at Eastpoint Mall. Had lunch with parents at Sakae Sushi then decided to walk around...didn't expect to walk around for nearly 4 over hours in the end until 6pm when the dog was groomed and we can bring him home.

Currently I'm reading Dan Brown's Digital Fortress, think Qing wei might be interested in this book since it's got something to do with computers and breaking codes. Hope to finish it by tomorrow. Yeah and now I'm watching 'The Best Bet' DVD which my father's friend lent it to us, really without Chinese subtitles... So much dialect which I don't really can understand, except some...

Think that's all for today!

Friday, 17 December 2004

Oh and I forgot to add something... Qing wei, you still alive right? Didn't fling yourself off the chair and down your HDB flat window???

And Wen Jun just messaged me that he come back 'from the moon'... THE MOON??? Did you go on an inter-galactic space tour Wen Jun???
A trip back to the HO room...

Met Kelvin and Weiquan at TM McDonalds before we headed off to the MRT station to board a train to Tanah Merah. Kelvin said he wanted to walk up the 'Tanah Merah Hill' (I always like to call it that) so he can pass by the old route to school.

When we arrived at the HO room we were surprised to see the poor attendance for today's practice... If I didn't remember wrongly there were only 6 'yi gao' members(Wen Jun wasn't here because of food poisioning, that's what I heard from them), 7 'er gao' members, and 5 octave members(Even Sok shin wasn't there...) So disappointing... Perhaps I'll go back next week or something, but according to Shi Hui we aren't the first seniors to spotcheck on them, Cindy, Wei Shan, Joel had come even earlier(like a few days ago). Shi hui wanted me to be the conductor of the day, but I think I did a lousy job(after all I'm not trained to do so)... But it's comforting to note that the HO standard is getting better by the day under the new conductor, especially after listening to them blow Beethoven's Turkish March (why do you all say it doesn't sound nice???) Well, they also blowed a few other songs that I've never heard before, like Blue Tango, La Spangola(not Spag-nola as I originally thought it was haha :P), and Jingle Bells(it's such a easy piece lor...) So HO must get the GOLD at SYF next year!!!

At 11.30 Crystal requested for a lunch break so Shi hui decided to let them off for a 1-HOUR break(after all the prac was from 9-5... wow... damn 'on' man...) So Kelvin, Wei Quan and me decided to leave.

So by the time I came home to check my PAE posting it was nearly 1pm... Right, I might have got into RJ, but the problem now lies with the subject combi... So here comes my dilemma part two.

Geoffrey's Dilemma...(Part Two)

Ha, my godma said 'good' when she heard I got into RJ, if my O's can keep me in there most likely I'll be meeting my godbro in the same JC in two years time(wait till the O's really come out then I'll go woohoo...)

So I decided to forgo Bio, but the prob lies with which to choose between FMath, Physics, Chem, Econs... these 4 subjects are enough to give me 3 choices for subj combi... (what the hell...) So after so many times of lot-drawing it was the Phy Chem Econs combi that gave the majority of ti-kums, but just to make sure that I chose the right thing I went to the library to LOOK FOR (BUT NOT STUDY, Qing wei!!!) some books, then went to Popular to BROWSE (AGAIN NOT TO STUDY, Qing wei!!!) a few Ten years series. Felt that FMaths is so alien to me man, but to take up engineering faculty in RJ it's either phy chem fmath or phy fmath econs, so I chose the latter at 6pm... Then after some consideration and checking the NUS web for admission into Engineering course I chose the phy chem econs one again since FMaths not compulsory requirement... end up it's back to SQUARE ONE...(damn it!!!wasted so much time just for this)

Yup, so that's the end of my dilemma, at least for the moment.(hopefully...)

Going crazy over ty beanies???

Oooh... I can't believe posting results will be out tomorrow... Anyway I'm meeting Kelvin and Wei Quan tomorrow morning to conduct a 'spot check' (hehehehe...) on HO... So I doubt you'll see me at the com at 10am (not like Qing wei who says he'll be the FIRST one to check his posting results and swing his chair to the window and jump down if he finds out that he's not admitted into any JC, which is IMPOSSIBLE since he's got a RESPECTABLE L1R5...)

Today I went to do some X'mas shopping with my mum, and at TM Yu Feng came up behind me and tapped my shoulder really hard... when I turned back then I realised it's him... Hai next time want to say HI also no need to tap shoulder so hard lah! Now back to the story... So we bought a couple of cups for my cousins who are going to work soon and ty beanies for my two godsisters... Then she spotted a doggie ty beanie which I find was cute too (it looked just like my dog Lucky but it's black and white) so we bought it too for ourselves... Then at Music Junction I bought another piano CD for my godbro, a music hits CD (hope there aren't any repeat tracks from the album BIG) and The Terminal VCD for myself...

Oh and last night I wrote a X'mas card to my uncle (tang jiu) from HK, he knows I like model buses and occasionally sends a model every few years... Now I realised that I can put my 'si han' writing skills to the real test by writing to him... But I feel that it's so inappropriate... fancy yourself writing 'xu jiu mei you yu ni yu yan xiang tong' to your uncle... Rather silly right??? Anyway I still did it... and ended with 'ye yi shen le, wo jiu zai ci ge bi, yu yan hou xu ba' (doesn't that sound familiar??? especially to my classmates...)

Ok, think there's nothing much left to be said for today, so I'll stop here.

National Treasure!?

Firstly, I would like to CONGRATULATE QING WEI for having been awarded the EAGLES AWARD... (since he 'deng' so big on his blog that he 'earned $150'... naturally I know what that $150 stands for cos I was talking to Lee Hui about it just yesterday and she also got it...) Maybe I should say that I got paid for being a student this year? haha... Why is this so? Shall leave you all thinking...

Anyway, today I went out with QING WEI, Jin Lai, Ruofan, Kok Siong and Willy (the whale!) to watch National Treasure (Digital Format) at Cathay Cineleisure. Ha for the same low price of $6.50 you can get to enjoy DVD-like movie viewing, it's definitely worth it... (if you hadn't noticed, normal films will have black spots throughout the movie due to scratches on the film itself)

After the show (which was 2 hours long) we decided to pay a visit to Guang Feng who's working in Takashimaya, and we saw him!!! What a coincidence... Then we all doodled around Wisma Atria basement (Ruofan was trying to peep at the Whale's SMSes), before taking the MRT train back home. Oh I forgot to say that before we went to the movie I think I saw Chen Chuan Zhi(the Channel U actor) outside Ngee Ann City...

Well, National Treasure isn't as bad as what 8 days gives credit for it, at least there's suspense, but after the climax the ending came too soon, so cut short the excitement and thrill... No wonder only got 2 star rating from the mag...

So I think that's all that I can blog today! Oh and before I end this blog entry, CONGRATULATIONS ONCE AGAIN TO QING WEI FOR HAVING BEEN AWARDED THE EAGLES AWARD!!! hahaha... think I better stop it before he tells the whole world that I studying for A Levels again, when actually I'm NOT!

Fortunately I'm late... and on 2 occasions!

Ha... got a free treat from Chong Ping this afternoon at Gelare Cafe in East Coast(next to Mac) (SJ you know which Gelare already ah!) In the early afternoon I went to Brash Basah Popular with my mum to look at some books,(and the neighbouring CD Rama shop was playing Hoobastank's The Reason off and on while I was there) then while having lunch at the Mac next to Bras Basah Complex we saw The Flying Dutchman (from Class 95 FM).

Then at 2.30pm we left for City Hall MRT, my mum took the train back to Tampines while I alighted at Paya Lebar Station to take bus 76 to Parkway Parade where I was supposed to meet the other councillors. I nearly lost my way around all thanks to the misleading signs outside the MRT station. Then at the When I reached Burger King Brynner and company was still not there. So that's why I said fortunately I'm late... Anyway, Mr Chua agreed to treat us each a large waffle and 2 scoops of ice cream, which was rather delicious, but it was still very filling for me as I had just eaten my lunch. As we were enjoying the waffles we were also discussing about whether to help out in this year's Sec One Orientation... perhaps we'll be organising a section of the orientation prog.

At 5.40pm we left Gelare Cafe and took some photos before catching a bus to Bedok interchange as some of them wanted to go to Eastpoint Mall to visit Ying Hui while she's working there.

___________________________________________________________________

Now to fill up on what I missed out in the blog entry last night... The second fortunate thing about being late was that yesterday I was supposed to meet Wang Zi at Tampines MRT before setting off for SAFRA by bus, but I was late by 5 mins and also saw two other Pub Sec 2 members... They told me they were supposed to meet at 4.30 when it was already 4.40 and there were just 2 of them!!

So when me and Wang Zi reached SAFRA there were two councillors who led us up the stairs but apparently there weren't any other Sec 4 councillors who were here yet. Then we heard from one of them that the farewell should only start at 5.30 and they haven't finished decorations yet!!! So end up when all the Sec 4s came and assembled at the Cathay bowl within SAFRA to write dedication messages to the teachers it was already 6.30. So that's why fortunately I was late or else me and Wang Zi would be waiting for the farewell to start for a longer period of time! All in all the both of us had to wait for 1hr 40 mins before the actual farewell started...

Oh and I forgot to mention one joke that the sec4s played on Mr Chua. First Brynner gave him a clock (haha song zhong...) then there was another present wrapped in many layers of newspaper, which only revealed a Council tie pin in a mentos sweet box... Finally the 3rd and actual present was a Goldlion tie pin. Ha Mr Chua was saying if we don't give him the tie pin no Gelare cafe treat for us, so Brynner just had to give it! After all it was planned as a present for him already... :P

(Then, bye bye HO... now, bye bye to Council... Hai... :( )
Council farewell...

At last the last of the farewells has arrived, after a surprise postponement from last Friday(is it? or some other day?) Anyway, I spent the whole of last night, or rather this morning, from 12am to 2 am watching Arsenal vs Chelsea and folding paper cranes at the same time. What's with the paper cranes? you might ask. I had to fold a total of 24 paper cranes just to give to 24 Publicity committee members... And besides folding the cranes I still had to write personalised messages to 24 of them(though for the unfamiliar councillors I wrote almost the same message... haha) But it's really weird to see that there are so many unfamiliar faces/names in Pub, as many as half of the committee...And I only got to meet 2/3 of them tonight, the other 1/3 dunno disappeared to where...

Fortunately this year there wasn't any embarassing games like passing the parcel then you have to perform some weird act in front of your juniors, so embarassing like what the previous year's senior councillors were in for. Rather this year we had a jigsaw puzzle game and Charades(though many of us could guess what it was without much effort, leading to a dispute in awarding of marks since every group also raised their hands and shouted out the answer simultaneously)

Nonetheless I still had the opportunity to take pics with the 2/3 Pub comm and the Sec 4 boys(behind a X'mas tree) and also some Sec 4 girls. Oh and not forgetting Mr Chua too! Me and Wang Zi were standing one on the left and one on the right of him... Ha I was writing down in the cards that I've enjoyed my year in Council and hope they will enjoy theirs too :)

Also I received some sweets, a piece of chocolate, a bookmark and a key (unlock 21 years old or 16 years old one issit?) from Pub and a self-painted clothes peg from Sok shin (did you like the reindeer?), another bookmark from Ying Hui and a rubber necklace(is it a necklace or what? thought that's more like a wristband or sth) with an engraved rectangular metal plate, quite cute but I thought if I were to wear it outside people will think I'm a gangster or something and can suffocate me just by pulling the cord... So even if I wear it I think I'll put it round my wrist...

Ha tomorrow there's an afternoon tea session with Mr Chua(Chong Ping, as the Sec 4s are accustomed to calling him now) at Gelare cafe at 3pm, think I'll go there to join in the fun or something.

So that's all for tonight's Council farewell!

It's finally here...

After 6 days of waiting for my HO farewell present to arrive Wen Jun delievered it on time today at 1pm. It was actually a waterbottle with 35 paper cranes folded by Crystal placed inside the bottle. Well, though a waterbottle might be a cheap present it came at just the right time for me cos I needed one for next year.

However, there's supposed to be another present, a stone of some sort, according to what Crystal had told me... Wonder where it has gone to? Hopefully it's in HO room or something...

Chef on call Part Two...

Hmmm, I managed to finish the Murder on the Orient Express book (finally!), the first book I've finished since the end of O's. (Qing Wei, see, no A Level Textbooks yet hor!) Now I'll start reading Crashing Computers, a part-comedy book introducing the history of computers.

I had the chance to cook dinner tonight again, which consisted of black pepper beef and yong tau foo with instant noodles. Fortunately the beef turned out still alright, neither too tough nor soft.

Qing wei was just telling me about why I never go on holiday since many of those who're richer than him go for holidays, so you see Qing wei I'm poorer than you hor, no $$$ to go holiday not like some still can go Shanghai(eg Xiu Yu) and at least a Kuala Lumpur or some other part of M'sia(eg Shi Jia)...

That's all for tonight then.

A visit to a teacher's house...

Fortunately I didn't wake up late today or else I wouldn't have been able to meet Qing wei on time at 8.10am. However, though I was punctual, he was late today... :( (haha, the opposite happened on another occasion when we met to go to the VJ open house) But, both of us met up with lots of 4J people on the bus 31 that we took, there were the 2E'02 girls(5 of them), Joanne, Pang Ker and Dawn. Never expected that we'll all be taking the same bus. The bus arrived at the stop outside VJ at around 9 but we still had to wait for others to come. Then we walked a long journey to Mrs Lee's house as she had invited us to her house for a gathering with the 4A and 4K students. (In the end, more than half of 4J turned up while only 8-10 from 4K came and approximately 12 came from 4A)

By the time we reached her house it was 10am, then we were treated to drinks, snacks and board/card/whatever games there were in her house, enough to fill one big box. At about 11am some boys went out to the nearby park to play basketball while the 4J girls played at the playground(not captains ball as initially intended)

At 12.30pm the pizza delivery man came and we started our lunch. Mrs Lee even bought in a few packets of fried rice from a 'zhu cha' stall somewhere near her house. After lunch it was games, TV and more games...

The 4 da cai zi had initially wanted to leave at around 3pm after watching the Everton-Bolton match repeat telecast, but suddenly one of them spotted a 'New Police Story' DVD on the coffee table, so we watched it(but with some parts fast forwarded) It wasn't until nearly 4.50 pm then the movie finally ended and we were just in time to catch the solitary goal scored in a repeat telecast of the Crystal Palace-Charlton game. Unfortunately in the very last minute Palace let in a goal, so they lost! what a pity... :( As we were halfway through the movie some 4A students came, including Sheila the Prom Queen.

At around 5pm we left Mrs Lee's house and took the bus home, but on the way back on bus 10 Qing wei and me spotted two other AHS prom queens in the bus, Eleanor and Constance. Apparently they were heading to Tampines bus interchange or something.

So I reached home at about 5.30pm and that's about all for today's happenings...

Am I a baker???

As usual I woke up at 10am(again!!!) but this time the sky looked much brighter.

Just finished baking chocolate brownies with my mum, waiting for it to cool. Hopefully this time it turns out well, but unfortunately I couldn't add any melted chocolate to coat it, the chocolate had hardened already.

Managed to read 2/3 of the Murder on the Orient Express book today, reminds me of one of the Train Simulator missions which mimic the book's storyline, but I didn't manage to complete it cos it's too complicated already. While I was doing so I had a music marathon, first listened to the BIG album that features a compliation of most recent English hit songs, then Fish's newest album, then Jay's previous album(not Qi Li Xiang one, I don't have that), then the Commercial Songs one(including It's My Life featured in Mitsubishi car advert, also the one that Sly sang on SG Idol night)

Then in the afternoon my godbro called and made surprise request to come visit my house either this Friday or next Thurs(thought it's surprising cos my godsiblings will come on Saturdays and only if my godfather not away on business trip), perhaps when they come we'll watch PolarExpress or Incredibles (see SJ, I don't necessarily have to have your company one hor!)

Hmmm... now talking to someone from 4K about whether the class is enthu or not, and she only said "OK"...think nowadays I treasure 4J more than I did 2 years back when I first knew the streaming result... Yeah, thanks 4J for these 2 years man, still can win most creative class award, what a pity that we're breaking up...

Chef on call...

It's been a long time since I've prepared meals especially since the O's started. Just finished cooking a few dishes with my dad who only cooks good food when guests arrive, so I'm there to help him out a little... Can guarantee tonight's dinner is at least quite tasty.

Didn't do much today cos I woke up yet again at 10am and read the Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie. Been wanting to read that book long ago but always had no time and now it's sitting in the bookshelf old, yellow and dusty. Hope to finish it by tomorrow. Besides that there's nothing much that can be done and it's so sian to go out when it's raining...

Oh, and I'm still supporting ty products, just went out to buy another set of X'mas ty beanies to be given out as X'mas presents. (Sok shin, you should know what present you'll be getting on Council Farewell night...hehe :P)

Right, suppose that's all for now.

Monday, 6 December 2004

Congrats to the word 'Blog' for being the most looked-up word in an online dictionary (which dictionary that is, I really don't know :P

Secondly, Congrats to myself for increasing the length of the Friends' Blogs column on the right with the addition of two blogs, both of which belong to my primary school classmates... :P

The reason why I'm a Arsenal-Chelsea-Portsmouth-CrystalPalace fan...

Finally Kelvin has returned me my Generals CD... Now I'm awaiting the arrival of my CCA farewell present (Wen Jun you better not forget about it hor!) Yesterday there was a 'San Dai Tong Tang' gathering of 'yi gao' section leaders. Don't believe me can see my MSN display pic, there's Kelvin, the previous section leader, me the just retired section leader and Crystal, my successor.

I must really say that HO produces talents. Why do I say so? I was just talking to Kay Tai, a junior who's in NJ IP this evening over MSN when he mentioned that another junior who's in Sec2 this year, Audrey, is enrolling in NJ IP next year... Wow... So that's why I say that HO produces talents! hahaha... :P

At the same time, he was asking me whether I am a Chelsea fan when my nick clearly states that "Jose Murinho, Chelsea Manager is my 'idol'. " Ha besides supporting Chelsea I support Arsenal, Portsmouth and Crystal Palace too, if you don't know yet... Wen Jun was quick to discover that I was a Portsmouth fan when I bought ty beanies for the whole section. Think I've said this yesterday... Portsmouth was the only newly-promoted team to survive relegation last season and was the Division One Champs the season before last. Arsenal's unbeaten 49 times, that's why I support them, and even my mum agrees that Arsene Wenger has an aristocratic nose (he looks very wise). Of course, I support Chelsea because of Jose Murinho, not because of Abramovich nor Emirates... As for Crystal Palace? Think they've got a nice name, just like my junior Crystal(ha ha!) so I support them instead of Norwich or West Brom. (NOT because they're better than the other 2 in the Premier League presently!)

Ok, think that's all...I've said so much about football tonight...
Now that the busy weekend is over, I finally feel more relaxed today...haha. But I must be thankful that I'm not feeling bored for the past week, cos Jin Lai complained to me that he's starting to feel that already when he asked me whether I would like to follow him to Takashimaya on Friday to kay-poh and "visit" some of our classmates who're working there as cashier part-time. But as usual I woke up at 10am today while the sky outside looked as though it's only 8am... So gloomy and cloudy...
A Note of thanks

Oh and I forgot to thank Sok Shin and Soo Hwee for being today's (no should be yesterday since now 12 midnight liao) emcees... Still remembered last year I was standing in front of the seniors emcee-ing their farewell, in Mandarin some more... Think my spoken Mandarin damn sucky man, fortunately this year I'm the one listening, not speaking haha... :P And Sok Shin don't worry I won't forget about your present... :) You'll receive it on Council farewell day...

And I know all the HO com members started preparations on Sunday from 9am(that's what I heard from Wen Jun), must thank you all too, can see you all put in a lot of effort. And I think Shi Hui also took quite a lot of time just to burn songs for dedication time, end up had to use MP3 players instead, but still MP3 is better than nothing... At least there's a dedication time this year, can say it's 'chuang xin' in HO farewell history...

Sunday, 5 December 2004

Goodbye HO...

Really busy Sunday today... Think it's the busiest of the whole year, or at least this holidays. Ya I've been talking about JLPT for the past few days, today finally got to finish it off at the Japanese School in Changi. Like the past few years, the road along the school(don't know whether it's Upper Changi Rd or what...) is jammed packed with cars on this day. So when I reached there it was 5.00pm when they state I should arrive 30 mins before the test starts at 5.20pm. Fortunately after 3 years I'm more familiar with the place and found the classroom in seconds. Hopefully I'll pass the test, cos I failed last year... :(

Then after the test finished at 5.40pm my father tompang Ashvin to Tanah Merah MRT then he dropped me off at school so I can attend my CCA farewell. When my father drove into the school compound I could already see the decorations put up in the...PARADE SQUARE!!! (hey sok shin i guessed correctly hor! :) ) Ha there was a stage made of tables and a long row of canteen benches and of course, a banner (but this year not as striking as last year's eh! anyway it's the content of the farewell that matters, not the decorations really....) Then Kelvin and Wen Jun were shouting through the microphone telling me to go to the HO room but I still had to carry two stacks of books(to dump to my juniors Crystal and Sok Shin) and a bag of presents for the 'yi gao' members. When I reached the HO room I saw a line of blindfolded Sec 4s making their way out of the HO room. Fortunately I wasn't(and couldn't) reach there at 5pm sharp or I'll be one of those who's blindfolded. So I ended up playing Bridge with Crystal, Tong Ling and Eleanor (3 of my juniors) while the other Sec4s were struggling to walk towards the Parade Square (haha! :P) When everyone finally reached the parade square I was the last to walk through and some juniors handed me all the programme sheets on their hands...

Finally the prog started at around 6.15pm with present exchange first on the line up. Unfortunately, my junior Wen Jun forgot all about my $11 present(that's what I heard from Crystal) and left it at home... (what a pity but he's going to have to give it to me personally hahaha...) Then Sok Shin was ranting on about why Ee Leng didn't wear her white dress that she did on Prom Nite to this farewell party. (suppose she knew it because she was chatting with me on MSN the other day and saw my display pic)

Then it was followed by dinner by the same caterer we hired for last year's farewell (I think). While dinner was going on there were a few dedications including mine (haha Fish Leong's Ning Xia) and Wen Jun's (Linkin Park: Faint (or is it something else?) ) The juniors also distributed light sticks to everyone (so we can see each other in the dark haha) At around 7pm the games started which mainly just consisted of a water bomb game. I was totally dry at first then ended up being splashed with a bucket of water (note: it's a bucket of water, not just a water bomb)

After that there was a special prize giving session called 'Kou Qin Luan Luan Jiang' and they named me the most 'lame' senior. Apparently at the beginning of the year I was teaching the Sec1s about the rest time in the score sheets which is denoted by a '0' then I told them it's not an egg, it's a zero. How did the juniors still remember about it???

Finally there were two performances, one by selected members of HO(Eyes on Me) and group singing (some song from Energy, always can remember tunes but not lyrics nor title of song...) Me, Lu yi and Ee Leng were asked to comment about the farewell party as though we were like the S'pore Idol Judges. I gave a reply:' Very well done. Two thumbs up. But 'yi gao' still rocks! ' haha... (since I'm section leader must try to promote 'yi gao' mah) To wrap it all up I took more photos with my 'yi gao' members and the Sec 4s. Before I left at 10.30pm I left a message on the whiteboard in HO room saying 'Jose Murinho is my "idol"' (since everyone was scrawling Jay/Taufik/Sylvester rocks all over the board... should have some variety mah)

I'm relieved that Crystal was happy with the almost unused assessment books that I gave her today. She said most of them looked like brand new, but really, I've touched it before, it's just that I've got no time to finish them up before O's.

Phew... what a tiring day! But at least it was fun, and Wen Jun you better not forget about my farewell present hor! Kelvin also left behind his harmonica when my father tompang him home. I said I'll hold his harmonica hostage if he doesn't return my Generals CD!!! :P

Oh and I forgot to reveal what I gave my 'yi gao' juniors aka 'Special Prezzies'. They're actually ty beanies... Wen Jun was quick to note that ty is the Portsmouth Football Club sponsor(that's right, Portsmouth is one of my fav teams, together with Arsenal, Chelsea and Crystal Palace) Since I can't support Arsenal, Chelsea and Palace's sponsors which are O2(handphone co) Emirates(Airline co) and Churchill( think it's a insurance co or sth), so I support ty products most often! :)

Busy weekend...

Yes, I haven't been blogging since 1 Dec which is the day after Prom Nite. Still remembered wishing some of my friends 'Good Morning' instead of 'Goodnight' when I left 4 seasons hotel. What a joke...

Anyway, it will be a busy day for me tomorrow, cos there's my JLPT (Japanese Lang Proficiency Test) and Harmonica Orch Farewell... And just yesterday I was at a HO seniors gathering at Costa Sands Pasir Ris chalet, telling them how fast 4 years have passed. Maybe I'll start with what happened yesterday first.

In the morning I helped my mum to shift cabinets in the Study Room as usual after half a year much change 'fengshui' and the room was getting cramped too. My dog Lucky had a great time trying to squeeze thru a man-made barrier I had set up (basically consists of a exercise bike) and he still managed to squeeze underneath it. No wonder the last time he managed to squeeze thru the window grilles to look at the thunderstorm outside... Hai, think about it so scary man, if that afternoon(O level Biology Paper 1 2 day) my mum hadn't pulled him from the window he would have fallen one storey down to the corridor, people would have thought there's another heartless dog owner... OK I'm digressing now...

Back to what happened yesterday. Now the afternoon part. My seniors were expecting me to turn up at the seniors' gathering to play captain's ball with them so I set off at 2 plus, but end up I reached there at 3pm and it was about to rain. Fortunately they didn't wait for me to start playing or else they'll be cursing me that I spoiled their chance of playing captains' ball!!! Since the weather didn't look too good we stayed indoors and played card games (Tai tee and Bridge) while some others played Mahjong. The BBQ started at 7pm though at 5,30 Tai Man and a few other boys were setting up an improvised version of a BBQ pit (consisting of a drain cover, aluminium pan and grille) and laying down some charcoal. Unfortunately the fire didn't hold out too long and he had to restart the fire every 45mins or so... Then there was another senior who was in army telling us that he didn't know what's Jif(now known as Cif) until he was in the army washing toilets. If you all don't know what's Jif, it's a toilet cleaning liquid... -_-'' I left at around 12 midnight when my dad came to fetch me home. Never knew that many of those seniors are already in army camp. Time really flies...

My 4 years in HO has been up and down. Still remembered when I first started out the conductor was very strict and always scolded the Sec1s... (esp me since I was in the 'yi gao' and was supposed to maintain high standards, if not how to blow the melody???) Then in Sec2 I became better then sometimes in his good books but there were still occasions when the whole of 'yi gao' was reprimanded for not blowing well... And yesterday my senior was telling me there's a 'San Dai Tong Tang' section leaders' gathering at the chalet (Ying Zhi who's just finished her A levels, Kelvin who's in JC1 and me who just finished O's).. unfortunately Sec 3s and other HO members not invited or else would have been 'Si Dai Tong Tang' with Crystal as the newest section leader to take over my place in June... Surprisingly HO is the most slack of all musical CCAs in AHS since we only prac once a week and only just this year with the introduction of a new conductor, twice a week. Last time HO used to be so lazy that attendance for Wednesday's prac was so poor... Nowadays I don't know the situation, but on the last spot check I did in July it seemed rather good (now it's extra prac on Thursdays instead). Then when I think back of the Committee elections in Sec 2 I feel that I'm lucky not to be elected as Vice Pres then, after seeing how Ee Leng contributed to HO these years as Pres. I think I wouldn't have enough time to manage HO if I was elected then with Jap lessons 2X a week and so many other commitments... I wouldn't have been elected as a student councillor too this year! Now at least HO's getting a little livelier with a new Pres & Vice Pres to lead the way to greater heights (I hope! )

Alright, 'yu yan hou xu', I got to entertain my godbro with a game or two of Yuri's Revenge now!

Deja vu...

Ok before I recount what happened last night till this morning let me finish up the story about the 'stoopid' car wash experience. It was around 11pm when my father took the car to the car wash. There was a taxi in the queue before us and two more behind us ( why taxis like to wash car at this time ah???) Then just as the taxi in front started its journey thru the car wash the whole system suddenly stopped. The man operating the car wash tried to continue and let my father's car in, but consecutive power trips caused us to be stuck in the car wash for nearly 5 mins. After the whole ordeal was over my dad decided to request for refund because there was no HOT WAX sprayed on the car and no water to wash off the soap. After nearly 6 mins, the taxi behind us emerged from the car wash. That's a really long time... (the driver must be cursing the operator for wasting his time and $$$!)

Now to the main part.

After spending approx $50 for my scarf and winter coat to look like Jose Murinho (who still doesn't know him pls refer to previous posts) Qing Wei actually said I look more like a detective! Haha well I'll admit that but nonetheless there's at least 50% resemblence to him right? Managed to tompang Xiu Yu's father's car together with Qing Wei and Sher Li, and we all reached 4 Seasons hotel at around 6pm. When I went down to my void deck to meet Qing Wei before we set off, I saw him hiding behind a pillar dressed in purple shirt and dark green tie. He even told me that he walked all the way from Tampines block 800+ to my house which is next to CS, and that lots of passers-by were looking curiously at him... hmmm Qing wei you look like future businessman eh! :)

The whole event started at around 7pm as students were more interested in taking photos than settling down for dinner. This year there wasn't any Xu Zhen Rong but there's our emcee Benson (wonder if he's from Mediacorp Radio), and a goodie bag which contained 2 mags ( Hardware mag for boys and Teenage for girls (haven't read that one yet :P) ) and 4 packets of instant mashed potatoes, a notebook and pen. A 8-course meal (if I didn't remember wrongly) was served at 7.30pm onwards while we indulged in games and watched nominated Prom Kings and Queens perform on stage. Before the programme started, the 4 da cai zi, me and Zhen Yi dedicated the song Toxic by Britney Spears to all our 4J classmates. Pang Ker went up to the emcee to request that all of us stay back to have a photo taking session. Towards the end of the programme we were asked to vote for a Prom King and Queen. I chose Eleanor and Qin Zhi haha...but the final winner was Benjamin and Sheila.

The Prom Night ended at around 12 am but there was still a disco session till late morning. Throughout the whole prog I managed to take pics with 4 da cai zi, Sher Li, Ee Leng, Xiu Yu, Zhen Yi, Tiffany, and many other 4J girls.

During the disco session me, Qing Wei and Zhen yi sat around looking at others dance and party wildly. Managed to listen to free music haha and Qing Wei was in no mood to go home yet while Ruofan and Jin Lai didn't even want to go home at all(they were waiting for Keng Foo's father to fetch them all back to Pasir Ris). Finally at around 1am the disco session came to an end and Qing Wei decided to share a cab back with me. We walked out to the main road and flagged down a taxi, but he was fussy and didn't want to drive to Tamp. Then the next taxi driver, fortunately, was not fussy at all and even asked what activities were there. He thought the Door Gift was actually a lucky draw prize. Qing Wei didn't want to spend extra money and decided that he'll drop off at where I lived. The total fare amounted to $16.30 (after midnight surcharge added) Qing Wei still had to walk some distance home.

Even after I was home already Jin Lai and Ruofan were still at 4 seasons (Keng Foo said his father won't be there till 2am!!!) Fortunately Qing Wei reached home safely and after taking a bath, I listened to some music (Toxic!!) and showed the pics I took to my mum. Turned in at 3 am. Heard that many of my classmates like Charlene and Lee Hui were going to spend a night in Swissotel the Stamford (really rich eh!) while Pang Ker and Ying Hui were staying over at Perry's house...

Wooh! That's supposed to be the best night in my AHS school years! :)

Stupid Car Wash...

All right, went to my godbro's house as I mentioned yesterday. Anyway we had sort of a games marathon: first Yuri's revenge then Need For Speed Underground 2 finally FIFA 2005. Ok, that's supposed to be the most significant event of the day until after we left his house. Then on the way home my dad decided to bring the car for a car wash. Whatever happened during the car wash session at Shell Tampines Station? I'm too tired to continue now, haha I'll continue the rest of the story tomorrow hopefully...

10.30pm: Tried out my grad night clothes and exploring different combinations of looking like Jose Murinho, Chelsea Manager.(Yeah I know I've been crapping about him for almost two months liao all for this day, and he's my 'ou' xiang). How will I look like on Grad Night? You'll know on that day itself haha :P Oh and I'm definitely not wearing the coat and scarf on the MRT train and walking along Orchard Road! People will think I'm psycho! Haha...
Was just speaking to one of my classmates(Charlene) when I realised that many of my 4J classmates who originally expressed interest in going to VJ ended up putting TJ as first choice instead... Hai... I suppose Life's like that, as I said 'tian xia wu bu san zhi yan xi' (blah blah blah...) its either sooner or later that good friends have to leave each other. Hmmm come to think of it I'll likely be meeting one or two of my primary school friends if I do get into RJ and they do too. I was e-mailing one of them just recently asking about what subj combi he's going to choose, even if we're not classmates still can be schoolmates. So even after these 4 years we still contact each other though just occasionally. Perhaps friends cannot be forever? Or is it possible? Only time will tell... :)
Piano Lesson Resumes...

Hmm, actually I've been thinking that it's only a little over one week since the O's ended. How time passes so slowly. I hope it's even slower haha... Anyway finally piano lesson resumed today after 1... or 2 months without lesson? Think my piano teacher lost quite a lot of $$$ because of this but she doesn't seem to mind... Really, my piano playing skills have turned rusty...

After the lesson I walked over to Parkway Parade to meet my parents (yes, my piano teacher's house is not far from there...) and have lunch. I must say that the basement foodcourt has many stalls which sell good food, and I opted for curry chicken from the mee rebus stall. Well what I ate was not important, then after that I went home...

In the early afternoon I finally sorted out the books to give away to my HO juniors and godbro. Quite a huge stack I should say... (To Crystal and Sok shin: prepare to carry a few tons of books home next Sunday after farewell! ok just kidding). But I should say I'm not a bookworm though many of my classmates especially Qing wei is always saying I am one.

The more I look at the presents I'm going to give my juniors, the more I don't feel like giving them away...(oops...) But anyway I hope my juniors will love them especially when 10/11 of them are girls!! Surprising isn't it? The only problem now is to think about which present to give to who.(hint: got something to do with X'mas)

As I'm typing out this blog entry I'm actually reading a book about Confidence. (QW this is not an A level textbook) I feel that these PhD holders really make big money when they just publish a <100page book and sell it for 10 dollars or more... That amounts to 10 cents per page!!! Perhaps next time I should get a PhD and publish a similar book haha... If really this comes true must support me hor! :P

I'll be visiting my RI godbro tomorrow after half a year, so most likely I'll not be blogging, and there's a busy schedule waiting for me next week: Tues: Prom Nite! Thurs&Fri: CCA chalet Sunday: Jap Lang Proficiency Test and HO Farewell(will miss you all 'yi gao' juniors!). So look forward to fewer blog entries from me next week haha!! :)

Saturday, 27 November 2004

Oh and I forgot to mention that RJ can let you choose subj combi liao... haha they so efficient. So I chose phy chem econs because I was interested in econs and I thought too much memory work for Bio killed my interest in the subj. Nonetheless I put trip sci as 2nd choice. Anyway if I wanted to change I can do so by updating on their webbie...

I happened to read this interesting article in RA (RJ's newsletter) that only a small % of RJsians have blogs, and 50% of those who blog are Arts stream students... haha

Suppose that's a whole load I've said tonight...
The Aftermath...

Woke up today with some confidence that (hopefully) I'll be able to survive in RJ. Mum started to have second thoughts, say perhaps I should just settle for VJ suan le, but I thought since I set my mind to RJ might as well do it. Since Tiffany is so set in going to HC though her results a little poorer than mine, I thought, why not? Anyway still got Yu hui and hopefully some other AHS people who have put RJ as their first choice. Now was to decide on 2nd, 3rd, 4th...blahblahblah 12th choice. So I was talking to Zhen Yi just as I was about to enter the PAE web. Decided on RJ VJ NJ HC TJ SA AC...(can't remember) then last 3 are RJ VJ NJ arts. Ha Zhen Yi was jokingly telling me: Apply a quarter pound of pressure on the left mouse button over the button... the CANCEL button... Well... There's a saying that 'tian xia wu bu san zhi yan xi', so sorry Zhen Yi but at least you have the company of someone haha...:P So at the stroke of 12 noon I pressed Submit, even called my father just beforehand to confirm with him... BUT half way through the MSN Explorer said 'web page cannot be found'!!! Wa scare me out man... Fortunately I tried 10 mins later and it got through...

Then in the afternoon went out with mum to get my Prom Nite scarf which I have been searching for since O's ended. At Eastpoint Mall, we saw a Giordano advert outside their store showing one model wearing a black coat but I simply dunno why the store doesn't sell it..( then what for feature it in the 1st place???) So we decided to go to Great Winter World in search for some cheap coat and scarf, but the things there still considerably ex when my budget is supposed to be S$0.. right I'm laming... So I found a beige coat and dark brown scarf which cost about $50 in total. One over month allowance gone liao... Hai...

Then popped over to Pop in search of prezzies for my 'BELOVED' HO yi gao juniors (as how fatima puts it...) And I must repeat that I wasn't there to look for A level books (Qing wei can you drill this into your head???). Spotted a few cards and bookmarks but were not appealing enough... all talking about LOVE here, LOVE there, not appropriate at all! Then walked down to Precious Memory Gifts and spotted many ty beanies (X'mas specials) many of them were soooo.........cute! Then couldn't find anything else suitable for the juniors cos I wanted them to remember me... haha. If I gave them sweets they will just eat them and perhaps forgot all about me after less than a year... So you all might like to make a guess what I bought? Anyway I haven't told them yet. My successor, Crystal was laming around when she gave me this reply after I asked her for the yi gao juniors' names: Crystal crystal crystal crystal crystal wen jun...blahblahblah... Then I asked her why so many Crystals', she said so that she can get more prezzies... Sorry lar but you'll only receive one... hehehe... Another one month's allowance gone liao because of this... Come to think of it this batch of HO juniors really very very xing fu leh got such senior like me...( I keep telling Crystal and Ee Leng this...)

At night heard my father say his relationship with boss wasn't too good, coming to boiling point liao cos many colleagues like to bad-mouth him in office... I suppose Life's like that, just like when you're among the top few in class people are bound to be jealous of you... (QW you should know what I'm saying...) So I'm just hoping for the best... for myself and for him too...

Geoffrey's Dilemma...

Thought I'll just post this diary entry in the early morning of Nov 27 but since I'm online now might as well finish off with today's (or more accurately, yesterday's) happenings... And at the end of this entry you'll know why I'm typing in almost (to the best of my ability) accurate English.

Woke up at 10am today. The sky looked so dark it seemed it was only 8am! So I was left with 2 hours less to make my decision regarding JC admission.

Finally after 3 days of careful consideration and 3 days of psycho-ing other people to join some other JCs, the final verdict is almost out... RJ!!! haha... surprising right when I first thought of going to HCI two days back...(pls refer below) Read through the RJ brochure and file which I got during their open house at Mt Sinai Rd on Grad Day in the morning, then asked my ex-HO junior who's in NJ Integrated now about life in NJ, followed by a visit to the NJ web and a browse through the RJ magazines (entitled RA, don't ask me why), I thought NJ would be a better alternative to HC since there would be less stress... According to my friend from TCHS, he said one HC senior told him whenever exams came he'll feel very worried... maybe it's because of the desire to excel in HC? Anyway, I was rather impressed with NJ and my godma also graduated from there... Oldest JC in S'pore leh!

Soon it was 2 pm and I haven't had lunch yet. Decided to munch on a bowl of Cup Noodles (Laksa flavour, finally! after the O levels) while playing FIFA 05. Then another round of browsing through the webpages of HC RJ NJ and VJ with a clear decision still not in mind.

Dinnertime. Mum told me that I should choose a JC which I was happy with, and proximity could be a more impt factor now. So she recommended I stop considering and put VJ down. But I still felt that it was worth trying out RJ cos they have a spanking new campus and guaranteed 5-day work week.(If you don't try, you'll never know! :P) Besides, Yu hui told me there'll be guaranteed subj combi for you too as long as you put RJ as first choice (wonder how accurate this statement is..). Then I received an email from my primary school friend whom I heard from another friend that he's going to RJ. And yeah, he really was going to RJ though he's from DHS. Told me that it might be a culture shock to him. Later on in the night at about 10pm I spoke to my godbro who's in the RJ Integrated and he tried to persuade me to enter RJ. I demanded 10 reasons as to why I should do so, and he did! I was impressed... :) thanks TBL! I also spoke to Zhen Yi, who said it'll be better if I spent more time on research than travelling. His arguments are indeed sensible and true. However, it's the spirit of trying out something new that attracts me to RJ. Nonetheless I'll have to brush up my English. So that's how I came about with RJ as my first choice for now...

At last, I'll be able to sleep peacefully tonight... I will most likely register tomorrow at 12pm. So do you know why I'm typing in (almost) standard English now? Ha ha...

P.S. So was yesterday Thanksgiving Day or not? Why didn't anyone tell me???

The Day of Interesting Encounters...

Firstly, I would like to ask if today is Thanksgiving Day. Saw the Straits Times' cartoons page showing a variety of Thanksgiving Day cartoons. Thought the funny ones were the Foxtrot and Baby Blues ones...

Went out with mum to Popular TM branch today to renew her Pop card membership but there was a long queue. Happened to meet Shi Jia and Fatima just outside Pop. Wonder what were they doing there? Spying me perhaps haha... :D So end up in Pop i only browsed thru some A Level TYS... (Listen up QW I only browsed, I didn't buy them, so I HAVE NOT started prep for A Levels)

After I got home did some packing of the bookshelf, still kept many of my Pri sch textbks... haha and I spotted a dead lizard lying on one of them... Fortunately my mum wasn't the one clearing them out or else she would have screamed... haha

5pm: Was about to have an afternoon nap when suddenly some people started shouting at my door. Then almost immediately someone started to call my handphone. Guess what? My juniors were the ones at the door! They had just finished watching 'Shutter' at TM or CS(i really don't know) I told them it was fortunate that I didn't go along with them or else I'll be paying 7.50 just to scare myself crazy!!! Anyway they were here to give out the Farewell invitation, and that's how my nick for today came about: Thanks HO juniors for the Sandbottle... It's rather well decorated and at least better looking than what choir did for their seniors...(SJ i know you'll be jealous! :P)

Ok think i'll end here for today...

PSLE results Day : haha really nothing much to do with me, cos i'm already Sec 4... but my godsis managed to top her school, going to join NYGH...
This year's 'zhuang yuan' comes from a neighbourhood school, perhaps this goes to show that neighbourhood primary schools aren't that lousy after all, which is a good sign :) ( I came from one of them too...)

Went to school in the morning to get JC application form, it's time to choose a JC! HCJC or VJ or NJ or RJ i really can't make up my mind now... Dad wants me to go somewhere near, mum hopes i go someplace better, what about a compromise? 1st choice: HCJC perhaps? that's my priority jc for NOW. (and that's not exactly near...)

Tuesday, 23 November 2004

Watched the Princess Diaries 2 with ShiJia, QingWei and XiuYu then ate McDonalds... Usual fare for teenagers nowadays haha :P anyway still quite fun la. After that SJ and XY went to look for PromNight clothes, and SherLi came along but the 2 girls had already gone to hide and seek. (Poor QW haha...) finally SL gave up looking for them and left me and QW at Metro, looking for ....... (you can't believe it...) TOYS! haha... That's all for today, i guess... Tomorrow's the day to choose a JC,,, what's your decision? Really confused now, dunno what to choose... Hai...

It's all OVER!

Congrats to all Sec 4s... After this long journey finally can 'ru shi zhong fu', a burden off the back! Hai... time passes so fast just 2 days back went for council chalet at Costa Sands, met so many new faces(Sec 1 councillors) there... Come to think of it, HO chalet also held there hor? In 2 weeks time that is... Anyway, i'm sure many of us will be enjoying now till... next year perhaps??? hahaha... :P

Got new additions to my game drawer: FIFA 05(released one month ago!!!) and Need for speed underground 2 (QW, i know you wanna come play for one month!;)

Welcome!

Hi everyone! So sorry my previous blog literally 'disappeared' into thin air, couldn't edit it at all! Nonetheless you still can visit the site, only that it is rather empty... Anyway hope you'll enjoy this site!
