i've done practically done nothing to day except settting up an aquarium n sketching my homework(junan's mixer schematic). mayb i did sat on the couch n daydream for a long time, but who knows? i didnt even notice the time before i snapped into reality n found my dog slepping on my stomach. yea, he likes to do tat.
the only thing tat frustrated me today is this stupid mediocre of a computer. it so damm slow! well, u cant expect much from 1.7GHz... tried to overclock it, but it juz wont budge. have to get myself another processor fast. Core 2 duo? or maybe Core 2 Quad? its recommended in many forums.
besides, i need a burner drive. i cant keep asking my mom to borrow her laptop just bsc i have to burn a coupla cds... n she'll make me drink those yogurt/swamp goo of her. it really taste bad, worse than rotten cheese...

my mom.... switched my computer for a crap of a machine. says its more important to have a better computer at her office.
seriously. i think im being used all along. 1st, she brought this perfectly nice(ok, usable by my standard) computer home. n told me to fix it. if i can fix it, its mine. i was sure im able to fix it cuz its juz a minor problem n my mom doesnt want to spend 60 bucks n format it(my mom's typical way of fixing computers is by formatting the whole thing). n so i did, n done more than fixing.
this morning i wake up n saw my mom tearing the computer apart. i greeted her good morning n she was shocked to c me. she even asked:' wake up so early for wat?' i asked y she tear MY computer apart n she said there's no need to have a computer this good at home(by tat u mean u wont let me have a decent computer?). n she said she'll get another 1 home by afternoon.
at 1st i thought tat i'll get a better computer but as a precaution i took the 512MB RAM(left the 256MB to its new owner), took the HDD(n replace it with a 15GB HDD which i dont know whether it works), n took out the audio jack i made(yes, the computer came without audio capabilities. n i have to make an adaptor to fit in the motherboard). tat'll teach the new owner a lesson. i think the new owner would b tat ego clerk of her.
afternoon, she DID come back with a CPU. its got a nice shell. but looks trully can b deceiving. i cracked open the thing n found crap. the HDD in there is only 20GB, 128MB RAM, Pentium 4 1.7GHz.... blah... the point is: ITS CRAP!
n here's wat she say:' dont b like this la. at home we dont need a too good computer ma... not do many tings nia...(yea, try typing ur recipies, search for recipies online, looks for those moron songs.... FOR U! n this crap's audio device's driver is corrupted! even worst, the power switch does nothing, i'll have to switch on by manually hotwire the SMPS!) so if u fix this computer, u can have it." wat have i done to deserve this!?

- change or overclock the processor
- get a new driver for audio
- tweak everything

- disk defragment. when u save something into ur hard drive(i'll short it to HDD), the computer just throw it into the HDD n doesnt care bout neatness. so when ur computer search for the file, its gonna take longer n eats up ur CPU. besides, u can put more stuff into ur HDD when its neat n tidy. hence disk defragment, it tidies up ur HDD to boost system performance. it should b done once every two weeks.
- antivirus scan. well duh! virus r a nuisance since it copies n corrupts file, not to mention slows down ur PC in the process n causing crashes n system errors. there's 3 type of antivirus currently in the market. 1 type is the dictionary antivirus, this type is worst of all. it compares processes with the internal database of known virus. its not actually effective, top detection rate is 75%. n new viruses r not detected. 2nd type is heuristics antivirus. this type is my favorite. it doesnt rely on enormous database to identify viruses. it detects processes tat are stupid n malicious n quarantines them. bitdefender scored 96% detection rate with this. 3rd type is the sandbox type. this type is the most interesting of antivirus. it DELIBERATELY infects th computer with virus n watch for effects. n this too uses a massive database of known viruses n effects. the way of removal isnt important since the main point is locating the virus. removal can b done manually, or with 3rd party softwares.
- malicious software ,adwares, spyware, keyloggers, malware(worms, rootkits, trojan), logic bombs, phishings...... normal antivirus wont bother these threats. that's where 3rd party software comes in. they do the job better...
- registry cleanup. whenever u make a permanent change to a computer(e.g. installing a software, downloading a file, change a setting....) a registry entry is added. overtime, the registry gets too stuffed n causes the system to slowdown on startup n file searching. this is bsc thre r crap entries in the registry, hence needs a cleanup. tats y old computer is slow, too much crap entries.
- disk error. overtime, ur HDD would b cramped with errors, this check would remove those errors. not a priority.
- RAM optimisation. RAM usage is nvr efficient, there r tools out there tat correct this n improves system performance.
- system restore. this is important, set a restore point frequently so tat u can rollback whener u screw up ur computer deliberately or accidentally.
- internet setting. this is done through 3rd party software. recommended for serious users.
- firewall inspection. firewall's ur 1st defence against internet threats. update them regularly so tat u're protected.
- process monitoring. this should b done whenever u have free time. dont do this unless u know wat u're doing. its basicly take a look at the processes in the task manager n look for malicious process tat isnt supposed to b running. it is a 1st sign of being attacked. terminate the process if its a threat.
- disk cleaning. cleans up unused files tats buggin ur PC. do this anytime u want.
- overclocking. (this is SERIOUSLY not kids stuff. dont do it unless u know wat u're doing. do this at your own risk. im not responsible for the result of doin this.) overclocking is basicly making ur CPU's internal clock run faster. not th time at the right corner of the desktop. ok, an example. if ur CPU runs at 2.8GHz, after overclocking it may b running at 3.2GHz. it looks like child's play but its not. doing this wrong could ruin ur processor n in most case render ur machine unusable. mine's originally runs at 2.66GHz but i overclocked it to 3.1GHz. its WAY faster since the computer can multitask faster n more efficiently.

i've broken a few things in tat factory since my arrival. a 3.5 drill bit(which was supposed to b tough), a few screwed up products, n today, almost a high pressure air hose. i dont think air drills like me anyway. always gives me a sore arm after every drilling whereas other ppl does it like a breeze.
today's been boring at work. my 'handler'(i get 1 since im new okay?) keeps all the work to himself. dunno whether its bsc he's affaid of losing his job or the more probably answer: preventing me from tearing the factory down. ta, the latter answer sounds more acceptable.

sorry bout the false alarm guys. ppl shouldnt b using same screen names. its not polite. if u do tat in online games, u'll get banded. tats how serious it is.
i've got nothing to do these days. juz work, home, computer, sleep, work, home.... its becoming kinda of a life cycle or some sort. guess tats where the idiom '日出而作，日落而归' comes from. nah... too much chinese for me in a short time.
its kinda peaceful doing this actually. for the first time, i dont get bored doing the same thing. i finally feel responsible towards things. which product's deadline's coming, which's the primary concern, doing things on time. things i dont take as serious stuff in everyday life.

its not really camping. the KRS n KPL is. still not camping...
y? they dont errect tents. ok, maybe they did. but those tents r commercial tents. u know, those u only need 3 minutes(my record) to assemble. n the KRS n KPL took half an hour n 14 minutes respectively. man they're slow. n they dont cook their own meals(even we do), they dont make anything out of bamboo, they dont have actual campfires(ok, those dancing campfire they do have, but no actual fire).
wat we're supposed to do there was fix some spotlights, n prep sound system. n we got like wat? 4 days to do it!? we done it all on the 1st day, before they actually start camping. we did them in 6 hours(slowly, not rushing. even gone for snacks in between). oh, n we even got time to show off. fix 2 spolights in front of our room to make them look like a hotel. not to mention playing with bows n riding around tokun...
oh, another thing. KPL, go to hell. they're total idiots. offered them spotlights in the begining but shot down our offer. says tat they dont need them. show off. n then when nightime hits, they're stuck to candles. really really funny scene. n then asks us(F3) to fix spotlights for them when our boss is not there. total idiots, u think we're dumb enough to fall for tat!? rejected them coldly, no mercy required or even considered.
n poor KRS guys, their comitees tore down their tents in the middle of the night. n they have to build another bulky tents using nothing but ropes n canvas. they practically slept without a ceiling tat night. the F2s slept in the looks-nothing-like-tent n the F3s slept coverless. oh, n those moron KPL 趁机 move their camps into the torn down campsite since KRS's tents r gone. n they took advantage of the lightings we made n r not meant for them. KRS was generous for covering the expenses for them but the KPLs still rumbe through the site at 1 am when most of the KRS is asleep. i saw a few of them got up from sleep bsc of them.
bout our duty. we all even have time to slack. too much time to do too little stuff. so, KRS found some really annoying way to make our free time miserable. we tried acting for their games. its not tat bad since we get to do things our style. but its still annoying. n then they got us to pretend to b injured so tat their members can practise medicine. hung phung pretend to b drowned n is told to jump into the freezing waters 4 times cuz there're 4 teams. we did everything 4 times. me n nan feng almost got stripped. yes, we almost have our trousers pulled off by F2 girl members during the torturing activity. dont laugh. oh, n thanks to siew wen, my neck hurts for the next 3 hours. i can turn my head left because the dropped my head while moving to so-called 'safety place'. i personally think tat i would rather face the tiger u guys r trying to prevent me from than having u guys to break my neck while trying to save me.
being the forced-leader of the group, i am told to 检讨 my own team which didnt go so well. after the campfire our boss told me to do it n punish them accordingly. gues im overprotective when it comes to ppl who has been working with me for the past 2 years, some 3. when i only stated so-called minor problems, both of them added lots more n have me punish my team for it. of course i wont. so, i kinda argued too much with them n end up sucking them up having to pump twice as much as others. still not me punishing them. so, next time, DONT APPOINT ME AS YOUR LEADER!

the story wasnt as bad as i thought. it grew more n more tedious after the treehouse scene. n one thing nvr changed fromthe last installment : the musics sucks. did they ran out of songs n start scrambling for songs? of ALL the songs in the movie, only 1 meets the standard.
oh, n to PC fans. PC fair at PISA starts on 5th DEC to 7th.

CMOS battery replacement 101
ok, so this is a post tat would solve seriously dumb problem with your computer. essentially when u boot up your computer n c ur clock has been resetted to 12am or u get a 'cant find HDD drive' or something like tat, u need to change your CMOS battery.
CMOS battery is well... a battery. it looks like this in most motherboards.
this litle thingy power your computer's CMOS which stores your BIOS setup. CMOS is basicly a big IC tats juz a few milimeters smaller than your processor. it usually hv to words 'CMOS' printed on it. BIOS is your computer's basic programming if u would like to call. it stores basic data about your hardware such as where's your cdrom, info bout your hard disk, clocks etc. so if the CMOS battery runs dry, your clocks stop(tats the nice part), then your computer fails to boot(which is really, really nasty).
to change it, all u need to do is to crack open your CPU(nicely of course). n find this battery. its bot the size of a fifty cent, silver in colour n usually near the CMOS. n it is sometimes covered by a black plastic cap.
when u eventually found it, pry it out gently with a screwdriver. but becareful not to touch other stuff. n then check the number on the battery n get a new one n put in in the same way u take it out.
when you're done, turn on your computer. u'll c the black screen with white sentences as u usually do, n look at the left-bottom-corner of the screen. it says "press F* to go into setup". press it. n a blue screen comes out. this is your BIOS setup.
ok, go explore a bit in here n DO NOT change anything unless u're intended to. find a sentence which says "load.......". its usually above the "save n exit" n its different for every computers. u'll use your arrow keys in here instead of your mouse. select it n press enter. a pop up will come out, press "y"n hit enter again. your computer will reboot(restart).
n when u log in to your account. move your mouse to the clock in your taskbar. i know, its still at 12am, but tats normal. connect to the internet n synchronize your time. the time would b back to normal now. if your time is already back, then u hv a really good job of buying motherboards.
after this, everythings is normal again. if you're a bit paranoid, u can always go to the motherboard's manufacturer's website n update BIOS. there's a tutorial there so i ont hv to type so much.

found a job. a few actually. all with their pros n cons. since when dya evr get a perfect choice anyway? there's always compromises...
job number 1, cashier at bakery. its my mom's friend's place. 4 bucks per hour. near sunway carnival, so transport would b a problem. n im not good with customer service, so i'll probably piss off many off her customers. on the bright side, i'll get free cakes n breads! n work hour starts at 9am.
2nd, assistant at a hand phone shop in krico. also my mom's friend's place. not sure bout the salary. there's internet connection there, in fact i will work as a software downloader there if i accept. the job would probably b boring since i'll juz sit there drooling cuz one thing u hv to know bout downloading stuff is tat its slow. hmm.... gigaget would probably save my life. n i'll b forced to use IE... again
3rd job,assistant in computer shop at jusco's digital bay. main job is assembling PCs or carry stuff around, arrange stuff... u get my point. probably get to know more bout computers there since all i know r basics to them. n i think i can bargain myself a power supply to play with. im desperate 2 learn bout smps. its so cool! dya know u can draw up to 50 amps from them even if u plug them into a 13 amp socket? n transport is also an issue. oh, n 5 bucks per hour.
4th job, technician at electronics shop(not my kind of electronics shop, its a shop selling tv, hi-fi....). its my uncle's place. the sad thing is, my mom asked me to go help, as in no money earned from working. it in sg. dua, a really rural area but developed fast nowadays. not my kind of work.
5th, office assistant at PBI(pusat bimbingan inovatif). near chung ling. i used to go tuition there but discontibued since its too far away. my mom's clasmate own the place. n all i'll ever do there is photocopying. n i might bargain for next year's notes if i decided to go there. the guy's really nice, n he really knows how to teach.
6th n the last, photoshop assistant at alma. my aunt's place. n this time i'll get paid, 4 bucks per hour. i not sure bout wat i'll b doing at the job, but it looks interesting enough. oh, n she'll take care of lunch! i nvr met her though...

happy holidays, goodbye classmates n hello santa!
ok, santa's a month n a half away, but u get my point.
my class's last day was wednesday. we gone crazy with all sorts of food. it was weird to find most of my classmates who ignore me most of the time came n talked. exchanged emails n phone numbers(i gave them fake ones), those kinda things u do when u FIRST met a guy. lots of photo sessions n games. there's even 1 which u must honestly answer the question directed at you, absolutely no secrecy. still, im fine with it cuz they didnt ask anything too... how dya describe this? yeah, private. thinking back to the begining of the year, this was fun. the class changed me a lot, im no longer avoiding big crowds, im not putting on a serious face n so on...
thursday was nice. we finally got 2 power up the tesla coil. it was great, watching sparks flying all over the place. oh, n watching yinjou get electricuted too. it proved tat saltwater, aluminium foil n glass bottles r good capacitor material. we also make some out of party cups instead of glass bottles. it performed better, n decided to make more. u guys should've seen lim seng chong's expression when we fire it up... he look like he've been drained of blood.
we got training tat afternoon. i've gotta say, its the funniest serious training i've ever been through. starting with the running up n down the stairs yelling 'ha, ha, ha'. its goddam hilarious! n then the part when the speakers was dead. all of them, yes, ALL of them crowded at the control center n cant figure out a damm thing(it was later identified tat our boss shut off the equalizer's volume,which was the size of a screw). n i went off looking around n stopped by the back of the speakers. a ex called me over, asking y am i departin from the crowd, tat i could giv some opinions. i said the more ppl cowding, the worse the situation, n i am making myself useful by checking the wires. n she took it! i went back giggling. burst out laughing when im out of sight. at the end of it, our boss even credited me n lectured the others. i resisted laughing, again.
friday was great. we made up new caps using shaker cups(which was much larger) n fired it up. lini came soon enough to watch the show. the sparks was less than expected, but it served its purpose. things got a bit scary when lini tried to draw arcs, she came really lose to shorting out the secondary coils, which would really piss of the whole team. since the arcs n the spark gap is really noisy(seriously, u can even hear it from the bilik tutorial), LSC got mad. we laughed it away.
yinjou finally got his mixer-amp finished today. tested it out, really good. im juz relieved he finished it cuz he worries bout everything. everyday he asks: 'like this can ar?' 'where should i put the potentialmeter?' 'the transformer can use ar(he asked this 5 times)' etc. even after school he wasnt giving up, phone to my house every single day askin bout wat wire should he use, which port should he connect the audio output from the pc, blah, blah....
lunch. i told the guys bout the me being 'hardworking' as our boss stated. i didnt notice jun an was drinking. n all of them burst out laughing n jun an sprayed lyche on jun lin n nan feng. it was like slow-motion, i can c the droplets flying n hitting jun lin square in the face. the best part is, there r some chinese orchestra girls behind jun lin. n im sure thy got sprayed too cuz they immediately left. i wished i've caught it on tape. oh, n i even got to yell 'coconut head' for the last time for this year.
after duty. junan decided to show off his badminton. n used jun lin as a crash dummy. yea, got shot multiple times everywhere. even at those places which was not supposed to b shot at. we all had a good laugh.
guess tat's wat happen when its the last day of school. i will definetely miss messing with u guys. so, happy holidays. c ya next year...

ok, so screwbert finally finished his capacitor for the tesla coil(ok, he finished them yesterday). but it blew up today. a major setback. he finished everything else, n when he tests the cap, black smoke came out. it burned.
ok, so he's planning to make another, the other way. instead of sticking pieces of plastic n aluminium sheets together, he's planning to use glass bottle, salt water n aluminium foil. jeez, should hv thought of tat earlier.

2day, would b the darkest hour of my entire lifetime. even 4th of Feb 2007 wont b as dark as 2day. too much lost n none gained.

Friday: kelvin lost my racquet, which is not actually mine. half of it was my dad's. n kelvin turn out empty handed when i met him this morning.
today: junlin lost my external hard drive. reason? he forgot to bring it to the bengkel.
today: junlin dropped my really really expensive speaker. its at junan's place, havent checked it out yet.
today: blew up a really rare capacitor. entirely my fault. im not gonna elaborate anymore on it.
stayed back at school to avoid having to fix a lamp, check sound system n anything my parents can possibly think of. turns out they saved those jobs till i came back. the following conversation occcured during dinner.
dad: tmr u got stay back at school or not?
me: no, depends.
dad: i thought u didnt stay 2day, i wanted u to check the lamp at the aquarium. after u feed milo pls go check it for me.
me: i have things 2 do after this.
dad: do it later la, tmr got time n there's still many things i want u to do.(this line really worsen my already crapped mood)(oh, n guess wat? its mom's turn)
mom: wei, tmr after u help dad pls come help me. jun jun(my bro) is at school tmr afternoon, so pls help me move the flower pots.
me: he's at home in the morning.(being polite here...)
mom: (a really loud voice) ask u to do a little thing oso cannot meh!? always hide in ur room dunno do wat. come out n help the family a bit will die ar?
n tats it. i feel like im nothing more than a tool at home. n even when i feel like crap, they hv to make it worse EVERY SINGLE FREAKIN TIME! tats y i prefer frends to them. they even yelled if i tell my granparents bout the problems in the family. thy say tat i didnt respect them as the leader of the family. screw tat, if u guys were, im so glad to tell u tat u've done hell of a bad job.
ive got myself a really bad bruise on my knee last thursday while playing doubles badminton. n 2day added some fresh cuts to the total count. its now 5 instead of 3. n it hurts like hell. im probably gonna fall or drop something when moving those pots tmr... n then i'l really go down bad.
screw it, now i got junlin begging for forgiveness n doing a crap job of explaining which i hv no intention of hearing plus a the girl from the wireman family bugging me bout hving a bad mood. perfect...

holiday's coming
ok, i know holiday's r a week away, less for A class guys. but im struck dumb when i get a really good question outta my head. WAT AM I GONNA DO FOR THE WHOLE HOLIDAY?
yeap, i cant sleep last night. the question keeps bugging me. i know i hv a long wait till the results eventually come out but i want something to do. something productive. duty for the whole holiday r only for CO n JSPO. which was only wat? 5 days? so, i want something to do.
i was thinkin of getting a part time job at electronics store, or i could b a tecnician at a computer store. p.s. i heard there's a job offer at PC Depot. but my skill's probably limited compared to those who r working there, but learning while working's good, i think. electronics' store was much less tricky. transport is no problem, since u can get a bus 2 anywhere today. look on the bright side, i know a lot bout electronics, part number, component's max ratings, recommended components(special thanks to screwbert) n probably which store 2 buy. so, its still a hard choice.
instead of working, i might go for courses. im having a RAE exam on december so tat'll probably help A LOT. the ony problem is, where can ya find a course which is not mobile phone servicing course!? frankly, ALL of the course i found is crap. either a direct servicing course OR 1 which includes it. im not gonna service a cellhone for cry it out loud, its full of ICs. u juz hv to change the whole board or u just solder a few loose wires. besides they charge u like 50 bucks to fix a cellphone even its juz a broken wire n they tell u in electronics language so tat u'll think they're so damm pro. trust me, i caught a guy in carefour doing it. n his stall is right next to the escalator.

nan feng n jun an both finished their amplifier 2day. ok, so nan feng finished his 2 days ago, but who cares? his was worse than jun an's. probably bsc junlin n screwbert did all the soldering... it turn out well. im impressed when they tried on the 'top' n '215'(both were nicknames for speakers). 'top' was rated at 200 watts, n they nailed it. '215' was 400-800 watts, n they still nailed them. quite an impressive feat. n they're gonna test ot on the big one: the 15 inch woofer. its approximately 1000 watts if im not mistaken, so, crack tat, n its really the next big thing. n probably the thing tat would badly make our duty department boss mad. he doesnt exactly like us to be smarter than him...
so, got the industrial solvent from LSC, n i made him a power supply n casing. deal's done. but my dad wasnt satisfied. days before he got himself a aquarium n was too excited. n now he juz cant get enough of adding thins to it. uv light filter, red-violet flourescent tube, UV flourescent tube, n now a AC-DC air pump. wat dya need tat for? the water pump alone is pumping out millions of bubbls n he still want an air pump. says tat if the power grid is down, the fish wont die. i say its a dumb waste of money.
badminton was fun. although i hv to partner with the hated prefect which gf was so girlish n likes to squel n sits behind me in class n torturing me with her high pitch squels n screams for the whole year. i will bring my racquets n shuttlecocks next week n whoever intersted, bring ur own racquets, kelvin lost mine 2day. gonna give him a really bad day on monday if he doesnt find n return it 2 me. i accept absolutely NO reasoning n causes or any of your lousy excuses upon my lost of properties. im a patient guy, but i WILL NOT tolerate the loss of my property.
n redownloading of 72 songs r complete. sending them of to burn on monday. but for now, i might think of adding more songs to it...

'215' was 400-800 watts, n they still nailed them. quite an impressive feat. n they're gonna test ot on the big one: the 15 inch woofer. its approximately 1000 watts if im not mistaken, so, crack tat, n its really the next big thing. n probably the thing tat would badly make our duty department boss mad. he doesnt exactly like us to be smarter than him...
so, got the industrial solvent from LSC, n i made him a power supply n casing. deal's done. but my dad wasnt satisfied. days before he got himself a aquarium n was too excited. n now he juz cant get enough of adding thins to it. uv light filter, red-violet flourescent tube, UV flourescent tube, n now a AC-DC air pump. wat dya need tat for? the water pump alone is pumping out millions of bubbls n he still want an air pump. says tat if the power grid is down, the fish wont die. i say its a dumb waste of money.
badminton was fun. although i hv to partner with the hated prefect which gf was so girlish n likes to squel n sits behind me in class n torturing me with her high pitch squels n screams for the whole year. i will bring my racquets n shuttlecocks next week n whoever intersted, bring ur own racquets, kelvin lost mine 2day. gonna give him a really bad day on monday if he doesnt find n return it 2 me. i accept absolutely NO reasoning n causes or any of your lousy excuses upon my lost of properties. im a patient guy, but i WILL NOT tolerate the loss of my property.
n redownloading of 72 songs r complete. sending them of to burn on monday. but for now, i might think of adding more songs to it...

i didnt go sign up for ICT as i planned to. changed my mind in front of him. he was stuped to find som1 telling for him at the end of the hall way n then say:"nothing". i know its so damm easy to get A in this but i'd rather go study for Bio or physics. remember last n the previous year? when th theory exam for ICT was like 'Name the name of the buttons'. i mean, who cares bout wats the button's name for cry it out loud?
n assembling the computer, making powerpoint, data management was like kindergarden. seriously, if u wish to learn a software or anything bout computers, the best way to do it is not by reading thick manuals or bug another person to death. it is trial n error. but b sure to backup ur computer incase u do something stupid, e.g. deleting the registry or terminating system processes. yeah those WOULD b a stupid thing to do. but look it on the bright side, its so totally cool! u can basicly learn anything with this technique. i learned javascript n flash editor with it, along with a whole lot more i cant remember. oh, n the same goes for my electronics skill.
school was quite interesting today. i honestly didnt know tat u could go badminton LEGALLY at school cuz whenever i try badminton in the morning session, or not-so-friendly Mr Gui came n crash the party. same for the rest of the school's admin guys. shot down a couple of ppl. n a big big sorry for the A2 girl which name im not sure. something like huan yu or close to tat. really, really big sorry.
back to the bengkel, there's nth much to do. fixing LSC's radio which really sucks, mounting a heat sink for his ampifier, helping out yinjou, n messing around with the tools there. i might decide to own a workshop in the future. the sight of tools is really satisfying. n LSC decides to trade his industrial solvent in turns of me 'prettying up' his amplifier. as in making a casing for his amplifier.
talking bout amplifiers, teen channel has ought to either change ur signal wires or juz tear apart ur amplifier(s) apart n check for any wires tat's leaked to ground. the high pitch(which is called humming) is really, really, annoying. if tat continues, one of the following 2 things WILL happen.
1: ur amp's gonna heat up ever so badly n blow up
2: im gonna personally boot u guy's ass for being a stubborn morron
zi yang(as in the A2 1) came to bengkel 2day. discussed bout sensitive topics tat u guys WILL fight over, n almost make me lose my finger. he seriously hv zero concern for safety...
so, its science stream, no chinese literature, n no ICT. but i would like to hv a peek at the text book for it. mayb i'll regret after i c them...

Bad Day
my dad juz gone off. he's been busy barging into the room every few minutes to 'check on his job's website' or so he pretends to b. i know wat he's doin, juz tat he probably doesnt know i know.
its been a really bust of a day. at school, spent most of the mornings listening to various teachers blab bout the advantages of the subject they're good at. seriously, why dont they stick to catalogues instead? total waste of time, n electricity(the amplifier we used 2day is 1400 watts not including the mixers, audio processors n the mics). its not an election we're having here, so y dont they juz shut up n let us choose? this is a democratic country after all...
even after the lousy mood spoiling talk, there's more to come . back at lim seng chong's bengkel, screwbert showed off his coil gun. by the way he wrapped the coil, thre's NO WAY he could fire anything. but still, he shot a carpenting nail with so much force the multimeter at the end of the table fell. i dun admit much, but this time, im envy. he makes everything possible. its like there's nothing he couldnt make or do. cracking software, hijacking server, making a really impressive pulse modulator n so on. yeah, im both jealous n envy.
back home, discovered tat ALL(well, except one) of the musics i downloaded r crap. 64kbps cant run in wma format hence its a straightforward reject. the bit rate must be at least 128kbps or it sound like tin cans. redownloading ALL of them now. YOU, have gotta appriciate this.
so, my day sucked. n i still hv to choose between taking up ict, or not taking up ict. its so damm simple n the best they could ask for a project was assembling a CPU? wat the hell's with tat!? n then wat? power point!? dont u think Flash was a million times better? n wat bout Adobe? those r much better suited to making demos.
