Pawpaw's Funeral 5.6.11

I won't say a lot on this one... this is once again for me to document for memories sake.

If you missed my post below, my Pawpaw was diagnosed with cancer on April 8th and passed away on April 30th. This is my Pawpaw's funeral. He will be and already is greatly missed.

Easter Weekend!

Mom and dad came down for Easter weekend. They brought 2 of my nieces, Mallory and Morgan because their mommy (Shannon) just had a baby boy, Max. So, to give Brad and Shannon some time with baby Max, the girls got to come spend some time with us!! YAY!

We absolutely LOVED having them here!!!! Below are some pics after our Easter performance at church on Thursday night.

Before Mom & Dad and M & M left, we met up with Steve's parents, sister, and her kids (Zach and Autumn) for breakfast at Magnolia Pancake Haus! Yummy!

Pawpaw's birthday 4.16.11

Due to the number of blog posts that I have up and coming (full of pics), I'm going to mainly post pics.

The weekend we found out that my Pawpaw had cancer, we drove up there to be with family and see him. While there I got to visit my childhood and lifelong friend, Hillary and her husband Shawn and their new baby, Shancy Dawn. It was so great to see them and meet this precious baby girl!

Pawpaw turned 77 on 4/16/11. We all got to spend it with him in the hospital! We celebrated with cards, balloons, and birthday cake!!!


And the evidence of cake is in everyone's smile...
