Plankton A New Media Player

After weeks of research and development, a new media player will be available to the public.

I have spent almost a month on this project because the developing of a media player in Java isn't easy. To achieve the final product, I must overcome a range of technical problems such as algorithm and logic flow.

Hard project, but i feel satisfy on my own achievement. Sometimes you should believe yourself seriously you can do it.

Here is the preview of my new media player, Plankton

- Plankton can play video, but it supports mp4 and flav format only

- Plankton can only play mp3 digital audio

- Plankton supports lyrics

- Drag and play

Developing a digital audio player

Developing a digital audio player for my own purpose is part of my target.

A media player is part of my high priority projects that i must know how to program.

When i was a computer student in tarc. I was dreaming that i wished i could code a digital audio player. But, in reality, i couldn't. I had no idea how to code and where to begin. I was confused and fear because i had little knowledge about programming skills. Like people say, easier said than done.

today, i have little idea and knowledge about how to work with media like mp3.

In this summer 2013, 3 months break, i wish i could complete my first useful desktop application. I decide to use my digital audio player to play a song.

I will upload the digital audio application to my forthcoming website. Stay tuned. Wish you guy can test my player as soon as possible.

high speed rail - the test between the two countries

If the measure is about revitalizing the old infrastructure and improving the quality of traveling time for the driver, i have no reasons to oppose the plan or the government, either.

The plan is good, so why not let it goes through and benefiting to our people.

I have read some main national news.

Many news show that our government has a strong determination to collaborate with our neighbor country, Singapore for constructing the dedicated KL-Singapore high-speed rail.

According to their initiative plan, the traveling time on rail we will consume from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore will shorten than we traveling on road.

It roughly might take you 90 minutes to get you there to "Singapore" by this high speed rail transport, instead 4 hours by a vehicle.

This high-speed rail between the end-point destinations has 5 stops stations. With one stop station will be each in Negeri Sembilan and Melaka and the other three stations will be located in Johor.

I feel welcome to this plan and i hope the bilateral governments can work together in the upcoming years.

But look up for the relationship between Malaysia and Singapore, the both countries have had seldom come together for cooperation and apology. For example,  the land property of KTM's rail in Singapore, looks like a never ending drama. Besides this, if Singapore insisted to replace the existing bridge between Johor Bahru and Wooldlands, Malaysia government will connect that bridge with a curve style for retaliation.

If the high speed rail in service, i can take a plane to Singapore, instead flying to Kuala Lumpur from Singapore. With this itinerary, i can save lots for going home.

ohh.. yea. if i go to Singapore, i can take high-speed train with 90 minutes journey. You know 3 hours driving is tiresome, and driving in Singapore is unnecessary i realized, since their metro system is accessible to any important tourist spots. Also, the petrol price in Singapore is a joke and no free parking too.

Personally, i quite agreed with someone that if the mega project is involved with bilateral countries, especially with Singapore, the occurrence of the overprice and corruption in this mega project is nearly zero or none existence.

The credibility and transparency of Singapore are world-class ranking. So corruption, shoddy construction, waste, overprice, and over-scheduled are not an issue. For sure, Singapore will not let this kind of scandal become a world news, even a national news, never ever.

Singapore is a responsible country, and well, our government should learn from them, especially the transparency of government investment and the Government itself.

So? So high speed rail is the test between the two countries. This is good time to prove the world that the both neighbors can work together..We're not foe but sis.

The Arctic Cold 15 Fahrenheit

 


15 Fahrenheit (-9 Celsius) this evening, this is the coldest day since year 2010.

The arctic cold is hard to describing.

It causes pain and freeze to your ears and fingers.

You would feel numb on your face and ears.

You don't even know your ears are there.

Your mouth and eyes with tears will be frozen in a second.

The icy tears might block your vision.

then, 15 Fahrenheit is terrible cold.
















In the morning, the temperature will drop to -12 Celsius (it's 10 Fahrenheit).

The arctic cold will persist until this weekend.

so, do i like it?

yea..yea..

a kid from a tropical country.. this might be interesting.
