Kids are Creative
Joe, and his good friend Tanner curd their boring day by creating a slip and slide out of a tarp, dish washing detergent and a water hose...Zoie, Tanner's sister even got in on the action. They had a great time until I made them stop...it was flooding "Miss Sue's" yard (my neighbor) knowing "Miss Sue", if they would have invited her to join in she really would not have cared!
Another week goes by....
Ok so it is Sunday. Lets cap off the week. This was our first week of summer, and to my surprise the kids really did a great job cleaning out closets, shelves ect... I thought after all our hard work I would have a garage sell. It has been awhile since I have done a garage sale and so I was a little out of practice...NOTE: There are "Professional garage buyers" THese are the first ones there and offer you a very small amount for your crap...But, who cares the idea is to get rid of your crap, right???? Anyway, I was so worn out by the time it was over! I told the kids I would get them a WII (Nintendo game devise) for their work, howwas I to know these are impossible to find!!! My reward is to listen to my kids now ask everyday when we will be getting it. I had a great day with Kelsi yesterday. We always have a great day when I am spending money on her. Mary-Kate's dance recital was last night, on the way out the door I saw the garage sale table that had not been folded up, Kelsi was helping me fold it up and it dropped on my heal....OWWWW!!!! So I limped my way there and loved every minute of watching her dance...NOTE: One of the best things about being a girl is watching other girls dress up and dance their hearts out!!! I have a picture here of Kelsi putting on her make-up...I got a little sentimental watching remembering doing this with Kelsi. Today was Sunday...my favorite day of the week. Amy is out of town so I got to watch Ellie at church and bring her home with me.Family got to love em
