Closing Note

Lao Eh has not blogged for a long time. Am closing this blog bec:

i) Too busy working

ii Too busy being Lao Peh

iii) Too busy slogging in the kitchen making milk and cleaning up.

Anyway, many thanks to those who read what was here... am starting a new blog - It all started with a broken waterbag to record his adventures as Lao Peh. Tune in if you are still interested.

It's hard to say we are sorry

A conversation at a sushi chain.
LE to manager: hey you shouldn't use this plate to serve food any more, it is so old and stained.
Manager: We have requested already, but new plates still not here yet, still waiting for shipment.
LE: ??????

Lao Eh wondered if he was supposed to reply "I'm so sorry to hear about your shipment, hope it comes soon."

Why so hard to just say sorry, thanks for your feedback. Sigh.

Finally...

Finally, easier to blog from the iPhone, but have to pay to be able to add photos. Lao Eh has yet to pay for iPhone apps, worse, one without review. How leh... ...

It's been a while

Lao Eh realises it's been 1 year and 8 days since his last entry. The Flyer is already unstuck, the world economies have crashed and revived and FB is close to world domination. But Blogspot seems to have remain pretty much the same very much (it's not even easily accessible on the Iphone) like rustic and nearly forgotten Lorong Buangkok. It's nice to have some stability but can we make it easier to blog please? =)

Stuck

Here's a pic of the Singapore Flyer while Lao Eh was stuck in a traffic jam. The Flyer was faring no better then, traffic to it stuck by its safety woes...

The Tua Pow Index

Lao Eh was shocked to discover that his favourite breakfast Tua Pow now costs $1.60. Shocking is rate of inflation.. Lao Eh is now quite worried about the cost of his breakfast coffee... sigh... Lao Eh needs a cup of coffee to mull over this...

A different perspective

Lao Eh recently took up a photography course. Part of the course involved processing film. It was slow and time-consuming and Lao Eh spend most of his course time staring at his watch in the dark room to time the development process. But it was very much a fun and refreshing perspective from today's prevalent digital world. The result is 6 pieces of black and white hardcopy photographs. Wat better way to share his work than capturing them digitally in, well, a different perspective so to say.
