2011 Family News Letter
To our Family and Friends,
It's been a long year for all of us with lots of fun!!! We have accomplished more than what we have planned for this year. Although we haven't done much in our vegetable garden (I don't know who did?) it's just seemed to be too late for everything, but we got quite a lot of tomatoes from Mom's greenhouse next door.
Last February, Mika brought a new sweet addition to our family. Baby Rusty is now 10 months old and everybody is enjoying visiting with him whenever they have the chance to come and visit us.
This summer, we went to Blue Lake for a camping trip with Mom. Mika and Robbie met us with the baby. It was our first time to visit the place and the boys got their first swimming lessons with their Dad. We went fishing and caught some fish. Analee was so thrilled to have the freshest fried fish for our lunch. We also had some little trips done around the neighboring resorts as part of our family activity and went hiking. Zach went with his Dad hiking and got a few sets of animal bones from the cave. He thought that was the best adventure he ever had.
Just before our summer ends, we had our front yard cleared up from the wild blackberry bushes. We can see our yard opened up a little bit with some plans on our mind to work on next year. Also, Richard was able to finish our fire place. He built a custom made mantle for it and everybody think that he did a wonderful job. We did a little painting on our wall and ceiling just to change the atmosphere inside the house.
This winter, we tried to spend more time together as family for an ice skating activity. It is Analee's and the boys' first time to go for ice skating. We have the whole winter to practice. It was fun, although we had some mild injuries but the boys always had a blast saying "it was the best time ever!" and so is our whole year of fun and adventure.
May this season brings us peace and more exciting memories to treasure with the family. Have a grace-filled year for 2012.
Sending our love and greetings to you and yours,
the Meusburgers'

Jake's Very Own Dragon Story
Jake love to tell story, but the character that he is fascinated most is the the Dragon, and other wild animals. Most of his story are very child-friendly, full of excitement. His imagination is always at work! He can tell story anytime, anywhere. Since it's not scripted, his story always have unique settings and character. IT can be a combination of thrilling wildlife adventure or a backyard adventure. Him and his brother share the same characters as they take turns in telling a story. After his done, he would say "your turn Mom". Sometimes, I caught myself unprepared. But stories from the heart never run out of idea. :)

Family Newsletter 2009-2010
Time flies so fast! Another year is about to commence and the good thing is we all continue to move on, celebrate life with our family and continue to count on every blessings, meet new friends and cherish the old one. We would like to thank all of you for being a big part of our life's journey. This year is full of excitements and good memories.
Last year, Analee went back home with the boys to visit her family. The boys were able to go to school for few months. It was a good experience for them to meet new friends and hear a new lingo. It was a blast for Analee to met all of the family members whom some of her siblings she haven't met for 10 years. They have a family Christmas party where all of her brothers and sisters went home at their parents house and had a family reunion on the following day. Although her youngest brother wasn't able to attend all these activity but she was happy he see him right before he was sent off abroad to handle some project for the company he is working with.
Zach and Jake were able to see their cousins for the first time! They played everyday after school, visit the farm and went to the beach. On February just before they went back to the US, Analee was able to enjoy their fiesta where she served as an official emcee of the pageant. It was an honor for her to meet their town officials and all the guest from different countries who witnessed and graced the event.
Richard picked them up back to the US. It was a long trip but we manage it out okay with the two boys. We sure missed everybody back home.
Just before the summer ends, our family went to Oregon and visit a family friend Clayton and Mary Montgomery. On our way to Otis City we got the chance to stopped at Evergreen Aviation Museum and the boys had a blast. They thought those planes looks pretty cool and pretty big indeed! After the visit they went to Oregon Coast where they enjoyed all swimmer creatures. Zach and Jake can't believe they got to see real sharks, big anemones, phyton!etc. There are lots of snakes and we don't pay attention to their names.
On our way back to Washington we stopped at Oregon State Fair. Zach and Jake got to go at the superslide. They really don't enjoy the rest of the rides, they're just too risky for our little boys. The rest of the time was spent on the barn and treats which is the best part of the fair when you got really hungry from roaming around.
This year, we can't believe our two boys are finally going to school. Kids sure grow fast! Zach and Jake are doing great at school. Zach's teacher was a little bit surprised during the assessment how Zach knows so much in her class. He already reach the school year reading goal. She thinks he is a good reader, while Jake is catching up with his brother. It wont be long and he will start reading too. They are both excited to tell their Grandma what's going on at school everyday.
These are the family highlights so far and for Richard, he keeps himself busy at work-as always. But he always have time to sit and watch his favorite show, or rock around with some music to show off to the boys how good a dancer he is. Everybody is happy and that's what matters.
We hope that this Christmas season will leave joy in your heart and a greater hope for tomorrow. We wish you all a grace-filled New Year!
Sending our love,
Rich, Analee, Zach and Jake

Zach's 5th bday!!!!
A couple of months ago Zach turned 5 and of course everything followed. We've been busy but Zach knows how to follows his own schedule everyday.
After getting up, he goes straight to the bathroom to brush his teeth and take a bath, put his outfit on, have breakfast, brush his teeth again, put on his shoes, and pick up his bag for school. He never miss a single day doing the same routine in the morning. Wow!!! he is a grown up kid, very responsible and seems to be doing really good at school.
Jake, his little brother is learning a lot from him. He is trying to catch up with his brother's schedule so he get up on time to and learn to take care of himself. Now that they are both going to school, we get more stories to tell. ^_^ Which is normal.
