Lake Powell :)

Here we are at the rock from the first time we went to Lake Powell together in 2002.

We all went to Rainbow Bridge. The people taking this picture referred to us as movie stars because we were all able to pose and smile at the same time. I’m pretty sure they had a few drinks in them!
So my cousin Kelsey jumped into the water at the marina for $85 bucks. The catch was she had to jump into this huge pile of carp. It was so disgusting but she did it!! It was really funny because she was trying to get out of the water and we wouldn’t help her. We wanted our money’s worth! Then this random guys starts freaking out asking who pushed her in because who in their right mind would jump into a pile of carp?! Haha he actually was the one who helped her out of the water while we just all died laughing!

Here is my family's houseboat. We have had this boat for about seven years now.

Joey brought his water weenie. It was so much fun! We did a “senior tour” for my mom, dad, and aunt. My mom was pretty much freaking out thinking she was going to tip over, but Lance was driving the boat and he was nice :)

Lance, Steve, Michael and Landon put on a huge fireworks show on for us. It was so awesome! They hiked way up on the rocks so when the fireworks went off it lit up the whole side of the rock.

And here is Lance on his wakeboard, and yeah he pretty much rocks! He is getting so good at it! This was the day before we left.

the 4th!

For the Fourth of July Lance and I along with his mom, her husband Scott, his two little sister's Allie and Ashley, and his oldest sister, Rhiannon, and her family all went down to Las Vegas to spend the weekend with Brittany and her family. It was so much fun to get the whole family together! We all stayed at Brittany's house were we all frequently played the Wii. By the end of the week we were all pretty good at Mario Kart and Wii Tennis. Even Lance's mom and her husband Scott played! But no one even came close to beating Dylan, Brittany's four-year-old little boy! On the Fourth we went down to the strip where Lance and Brad, Brittany's husband, went to the Bodies exhibit. There was no way I was going to that so luckily Lance had someone to go with! Lance said it was really interesting and that he was happy he went. Once they were finished with that, we all did a little shopping and walked around the casinos. The night of the fourth we hiked up this small mountain by Brittany's house and watched the fireworks all down the strip. It was really cool to see so many all at once. The next night Brad and Lance put on a fireworks show for everyone. The kids loved it!

Here we all are with the stip in the background. We are standing just outside the New York New York casino.

Here are Lance and I in front of the New York New York casino. I was probably 115 degrees that day!

Here are our nieces and nephew at the carnival down the street with their faces painted. They are so cute!

Here is Lance putting on a fireworks show for the kids! The guy who sold them the fireworks said it was a roman candle...all this was was a huge sparkler!

the cruise!

Our vacation was amazing! And it couldn't have come at a better time. I just finished school a few weeks ago, so it was definitely time for a break :) We had a great time in the Caribbean! One interesting thing we found out was that at each of the islands, they drove on the wrong side of the road. This was a little hard to get used to. We were on this vacation with my family which was a total of 14 people! Even though there were a lot of us there we had an awesome time.

Here is a picture of Lance and me in front of our cruise ship. Our cruise started out in San Juan, and then ended back at the same place. This was both of our first time being on a cruise, and we couldn't believe how big the ship actually was!

Our first stop was in St. Thomas. Here we took a tour of the island. On our tour we ate fresh mango and went to Magen's Bay.

Next was Dominica. This island is very, very green. It may have something to do with the 300 inches of rainfall they get in one year! There aren't very many beaches here, so we took a tour of the island. We went to a rainforest and were able to swim in a pond called Emerald Pool. This was right below a huge waterfall! It was so awesome to swim in this fresh water in the rainforest. Another stop we made was at Mr. Nice's fruit stand. Here is where local, Mr. Nice, provides fresh friut to people for free! He had bananas, pineapple, grapefruit, coconut, and cocoa beans.

Next stop was Barbados. The first thing we did was go on ziplines in the rainforest. This was so awesome! Most of the time we were 200 feet in the air! After that we went to Lobster Alive Beach. Barbados is definitely where the prettiest beaches were. The water was crystal clear and the sand was very white. We had fun swimming in the ocean and body surfing when the waves were big enough!

Next was St. Lucia. Here we were lucky to take a ride on a pirate ship that was used the all three of the Pirates of the Carribean movies! We even got to drive the ship. They took us to Pigeon Island where they set up a treasure hunt. Both Lance and I won posters. Yipee :) On the ship they had a photo album of pictures of Johnny Depp all decked out in his pirate costume walking around on the ship. That was really fun for us to see.

Our next stop was in Antigua. We took a tour of the whole island and spent the rest of the day at Turner Beach. This island is well known for their black pineapple. The pineapple isn't actually black, just the outside of it. This pineapple is more sweet and juicy.

Our next stop was in St. Kitts. Here we rode 4-wheelers through the rainforest. The differnt kinds of plants we saw were amazing. We even came across this tree that had grown off the side of a cliff so all the roots were hanging down along side the cliff.

Our last stop was in San Juan. Here we walked around old San Juan and checked out the fort they have there. Lance also found a coconut on the walk there and was able to take it home!
