baby announcement #3

The word is spreading fast, But yes we are expecting an addition to our family next year. I am due the end of May. It has been really fun to share the exciting news with Conway and Elle. Now Conway is 4 he has lots of great ideas about babies. Elle too is excited for a cute baby and says she wants a sister.

Conway's word of wisdom about babies:

C "Are we having a boy or girl?" (1st question after we told him we were going to have a baby)

The next week to Grandma, " We are arguing about it, we can't decide if we want a boy or girl" kills me. :)

He has it all planned out where baby will sleep and what toys he will give him.

The last week he tells me "Mom i think we should have two babies, so Elle can have a sister and I can have a brother." (how kind of you Conway!) "Mom can't carry two babies Conway we are just going to have one." "But I could carry my brother Mom."

C. "Do we have a name for the baby?" "Yes if it is a girl her name will be Piper, if the baby is a boy we don't know yet" C." I was thinking we could name him Rad-Cool. You already used Conway so you can not use that again."

Other names he likes are, Rex, Rockie, and Rusty. name the baby after some of his favorite pets...

We are so grateful we have Conway to help with all of these big decisions. We don't know what we would do with out him. Seriously love the kid! :)

Chalk Paint

It is so fun! It can be so addicting because there is no hard labor prep work of stripping or sanding the old furniture. And using the wax allows for some cool finishes.
An old dresser we picked up on the side of the road. Using it for my craft closet or baby's room... Started out as an old yellow dresser. Painted it into a rustic cream and brown.
Granny and Nana's old china hutch. Needed makeover, sage green with a brown antique finish.

before:

Britton is not onboard yet with my new addiction. I think he is not excited about my new lens to look at all the old broken down furniture I see. It all now can become a work of art with a little chalk paint.

Halloween

Town Pumpkin Patch Carnival. My favorite little pumpkins.

P
Pumpkin Carving. It was so fun! Both kids had ideas for what they wanted on their pumkins. Britton googled some pictures and found and awesome Captain America. Elle wanted Mickey with a witch hat. And the middle ones is a witch hat and spider. We got to carve while we watched Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin. The kids loved it all, Conway still does not like to help clean out the pumpkins, but Elle dug right in this year.

Trying to get a cute picture with their pumpkins

Getting ready for trick or treating

 Happy Halloween
Britton and Conway designed and created the Ninja costume. He LOVED it!
The kumno was a HUGE hit Aunt Nano and Uncle Anton, She got so many compliments about how pretty and authentic it was. We had to tell everyone, that it really did come from Japan. :) Thanks a bunch!
 Ward trunk or treat

Trick or Treat!
Conway and Elle were so fun trick or treating, They would run from house to house, it was amazing how fast they could move to get to each door. We tricked or treated for almost and hour! Then we got home and enjoyed some of our spoils, they both woke up with tummy aches this morning. So I think we will have to reign in the sugar today. :)
We hope you all had a fun Halloween. Lots of love from your Los Alamos Lambsons.
