Leah turns SIX!!!

First we celebrated by singing to the birthday kids (Uncle Todd, Aunt Tiff, and Leah) with some brownies lovingly and thoughtfully made by Tiff and Marc. Then Brett mentioned that he would like to still have a cake on the actual day of the 6th. That day the concierge came by the room with a HUGE beautiful chocolate cake, card and an little stuffed animal puppy present along with a special invitation to meet "Bachelor" the Hotel St. Bernard! Leah just soaked up all the love and attention like the little princess she can be! Thanks again to family that made it extra special.

The BIG guy comes to visit us at school

Yes Santa came to school. Sarah said "Dad it was the REAL Santa. He was fat because he ate too many cookies. It wasn't a pillow in his shirt."

After taking pictures Santa left a gift for each child.
The following pictures help illustrate why I feel stressed when deciding
what gifts are just right for our children at Christmas time.
It's funny because Sarah's dolly was one she got 2 years ago for Christmas.
I just bought a little car seat for her and cleaned her up a bit.
Leah's gift was a brand new, very cute, I thought, barbi type doll that had changeable hair. But she just kept asking: "Is Santa going to bring us more presents though?" Barbi's were on her list...
Ah well I guess a little disappointment is just part of life... ???

That's not a forced smile at all...
HA!

Eli's first time to the temple

It was a clear beautiful morning. We watched a full lunar eclipse as we drove the quick 30 min. to the temple. It was interesting that a woman inside recognized us from Cabo. She and her husband had been down in October without thier 9 kids... small world.
I love how happy we felt to be there together. Such a blessing.

The Scotts house

It was perfect to be able to stay with Rick and Jyll and the boys for a couple of days in Castle Rock.
We love you Scott family!
