Satellite Radio
OK i love having it in our car. love having it on the phone... i mean all kinds of music... i don't have to download it. I don't have to organize it. Just get to LISTEN. and that's how to enjoy music.
I like all kinds. some of my favorite chanels are the Coffee House, the top 20 (lame I know but this is stuff to get down to while your in the kitchen!) and the whole family loves Kids Place Live. Listen to it MUCHO MUCHO a LOT. It's clean (except for the occasional butt, beans, or bugger song) and there are actually many good artists out there who gave up trying to be famous but make good music that happens to be kid friendly. I'm working on a little list of fave.s to blog about...
I am up late... Brett is camping and I am nervous about manana...
Been stalking my favorite blogs. Gotta love it.
Leah says: "Mom, happy valemtimes day."
and "Mom, can I get more ketchup on my pancakes?"
All my kids have done this... ketchup and syrup and kitchen and chicken???
must be some kind of dyslexia.
and one I think we will never forget and I wonder (now that she's four) if she will ever loose: "Lasterday we went to the park with my friends."
I love my Little Loo

Centro Escolar Picacho
Today at school we had a party day. The kind of day that is all about doing things differently. We all wore red shirts and jeans. We went up to the soccer field and played fun games. The kids got to bring toys to school. We had a chocolate and Valentine card exchange. I even let my kids watch a movie. It was a fun day!
I love our school. And I love working there. Is it perfect? No. But there are so many good things about it. I count it as one of the greatest blessings in my life to be there with my children everyday and be part of such a wonderful institution.
Every year the school invites parents to attend open classes. Before working at the school one open class to attend for one of the boys seemed like a major task that would eat up my entire day. Getting ready, getting the girls ready. Making sure we had every little thing we might need (snacks, toys books diapers etc.) packed up and getting there on time. Just to sit for about 40 min. and sometimes wrestle with the girls while trying to watch the boys in their class. Then heading home feeling somewhat unproductive and pretty beat! Now it's quiet a different story. Open classes over the last few weeks have been a snap and totally fun. Because I am there all day, I just head on up to the class when it's time. Pop in, watch and enjoy. Then head back down stairs and get back to work. Awesome. I love our teachers and am so thankful for all they do.
I love getting to be there for all these kinds and so many MORE moments.
Next week is my own classes open class! And that is also quite a different story... I just hope my little guys behave. I'm sure it will be great.
I love coming home three times a week to food on the stove and a spotless house. Oh how I love Friday afternoons....

Sports Friday
So on Friday the school had a sports event. They divided the whole school into two teams. (red and yellow) and had all these different races and games. Basketball, volleyball, relay races, sack races, soccer. It was fun. The yellow team won, and we were good sports. I was a judge so I had to be unbiased.
(Quien es mejor? Rojo SI SENOR!!!)
