He's my man....

and it's his birthday! Words can't express the love and admiration I have for this guy.....I really don't know what I did to be so blessed to have him. He can do anything, does EVERYTHING for our family and continues to bless my life daily. Just this morning I was thinking about all the friends I've had and still do have from all of our travels in the past 10 years. There are plenty, but dang am I ecstatic that HE'S been my very best one through it all. Good and bad.....he's been there. Happy Birthday B.....loving you couldn't be easier!

Are these girls cute or what??? This is Haylee with her new best friend, Brooklyn. I'm so grateful Haylee has found such a good friend since moving here. Well, I've never really worried about her finding friends, but it just makes things so great when they're good, good friends. This little Brooklyn is a dream. Such a fun, awesome friend for Haylee and they make a great team. Since she was little, I have been amazed at how easily Haylee makes friends. She has a way about her and feels very comfortable with people....kids and adults. But, she is super smart and can sense when things aren't "right" with someone. She truly is such a great little girl. I couldn't have asked for one thing better than to have her as my first. She's definitely growing up, whichs naturally makes me crazy........but so far it's been amazing. She's very balanced-emotionally and mentally, and YES I'm scared for those hormones to kick in!! Please no! Just recently, she's loved for me to come in her room at night and just talk....about whatever, for as long as I want. I LOVE it more than I can say and she loves to talk. Running through my head the whole time is "please don't let this EVER change.....I love having you as one of my best friends!" But, I also know that I'm still the M-O-M!! Dangit!

Sneaky little thing

Camryn's latest and greatest is waiting until she's just exhausted to take a nap, and asking someone (usually not me) to hold her and then she'll just crash. Sounds strange, but it works for me because she stays asleep for her regular 2 hour nap. On days that this isn't the case, she just "gets cozy" on the couch and watches Diego, falling asleep just minutes into it. Here she is zonked on Traci's shoulder. Just yesterday, she did the same thing to Annette while she (annette) ate dinner. She is precious....

Happy Day sweet Isabelle

She's wanted to be 5 for a LONG time, but DOES NOT want to get any older. She makes that very clear and we are ok with that.....5 is good :) Well, she had a great day. She shared her day with pre-school and wore her new red dress from Melissa. Yes, she wanted to look like Annie (much progress from last year with the curlers)!! She wanted to go to Applebees with friends too. Great idea as B was on call and call lately has meant not being around much :( So, we had some good food and dessert and ended up at home to open presents. She wanted High School Musical 2 "stuff", much like ALL of my girls!! Super, very easy. She does NOT like cake much so she opted for sundaes.....super, again. Izzy has been so much fun to watch grow up. She had a VERY ROUGH start in life and literally cried for 9 months!!!!! ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT! So, to see that she is a happy, loving, smart, very thoughtful little girl really melts both Brian and I. She has had speech therapy to help with developmental issues starting with her ears and is on her 3rd set of ear tubes. We have "worried" more about her than any of our girls. To our delight, she is amazing....in every way! She is a little girl that will give AT LEAST one compliment to everyone she talks to in a day. Maybe your shirt, your earrings, your shoes...something. It's just who she is and she is so sweet about it. Izzerbeezer (as Cami calls her), you are a beautiful addition to our family. One thing won't change and that's the fact that you're a mini-me version of your dad...I think that's pretty cool! Thanks for your loving little ways, your overzealous kisses that you've picked up from me, and wanting to live with mommy and daddy forever....I wouldn't change that for the world. Happy Birthday #3!

seventh heaven....

Madison turned 7 last week and had a great day! I took treats into her classroom in the morning, and her little class was soooooo cute! They sang the most adorable birthday song to her while circling around her and then she blew them all "out" like they were candles. Such a great teacher she has. I realized that day that Madison is very photogenic....maybe I already knew that, but just repeated it in my head. She is a doll! THEN, that night, we partied to the High School Musical 2 theme. Oh, she was in heaven!! She loved all her gifts and it was so fun to watch her enjoy her big day. She has changed so much this past year and isn't such a "little" girl anymore. She is spreading her wings and learning so much. She is a blessing in our little family for sure! Thank you Madi for being #2 and making me a better mommy, for always smiling and wanting to cuddle, and for reminding me that blondes really do have more fun!! Happy 7th birthday Madi Lou! Weloveyousomuch!

We miss you Rae....
