Lazy days...

Camryn is such a good big sister.  If Beckham isn't awake to come with me on a run, this is usually where I find him when I get home....
First thing he does when we go to get him out of bed is grab a book or puzzle.
He is definitely an "ipod" baby.  Crazy that he can work anything electronic better than I can! He LOVES sharing earphones and listening to his sisters music...
I think if we had twins, it would be Cam and Bex.  They are bath buddies.....
We spend most of our time in swimming suits when we're home.  I love Beckham waiting patiently for Madison to fix the butterfly net that he uses for balls!
I couldn't have dreamed it up any better......my heart about explodes watching my shirtless, brown eyed, messy haired blondie run around!  He's changed our world for the better.....and those cute pink buns in the background are pretty delicious too!!! :) Summer fun!

June camping....

We bucked up and went camping Father's Day weekend.  It was a total blast, but to say that I was completely exhausted afterwards is a complete understatement.  My parents became more of my idols after I successfully slept in a tent with 7 people for 3 nights.  We camped ALOT when I was a kid, and I had zero clue about all the work it took to pull it off.  They made it look so easy! I have to say that Brian did most of the work for sure.....he does read the blog so I can't take too much credit! :) We went up AF canyon which is a gorgeous spot just about 30 mins from our home.  It was really fun... Our first morning after a great...haha.....nights sleep started at 5:23 am with brother wanting to get out and play.  The boy thought he'd died and gone to heaven with rocks, dirt and stick EVERYWHERE!!!!
I will admit that this adventure helped calm some of my OCD behavior.  My dream was to keep him clean......I know, hilarious!!!
The girls., as usual, were so helpful chasing brother down and bringing him back to us.  He thought it was funny and ran faster and faster everytime.
We definitely don't have prim and proper girly girls.  All 4 enjoyed living in the wild and not showering :)
We went with the Funn family and it made all the difference.  They have a camper which adds a new dimension to camping.  My dad would call it Motel 6 on wheels and believes its cheating.  We sure enjoyed having it handy.  They have 3 boys that the girls stuck to like glue!
Brian did a great job beating the 20 minute time the tent instructions gave him.  It was luxury with 3 "rooms" and all!
I don't think I've laughed so hard in years.  Lance and Brian grew up together in California and have stories and stories about their childhood.  Lance is one funny guy....
We have one more weekend this summer that we're hoping to sneak another camping trip into.  Camping brings back such great childhood memories for me.  The sounds, the smells, the food......I love it all.  The girls are begging to go again.  Hopefully they'll come home with more good memories and erase the one of their 6 month prego mom peeing in a tubberware bowl in the middle of the night!! Yep, it just wasn't an option to tempt the bears and such 4 times every night.  Good times keep rollin'!

Olmstead Family Reunion.....Bear Lake June 2012

Good times......good memories.  Our Olmstead family reunion was a highlight this month.  Much planning went into it and we all seemed to have a great time!  My sis-in-law, Farrah, has wonderful parents that provided the cabin/mansion for us to stay in.  It was great!!!  Mom and dad.....they are the reason it happened.  Love them both so much and all they do for our crazy family!!
You can't go to Bear Lake without trying the yummy shakes.  There were lots of drives down the hill for this cold goodness.  Brion and Nicole joined us on this partial family outing (bex was asleep and Cam was playing).
Weird that in a few months, this will only be half of our children.  This fraction makes me feel old (seriously, Haylee is SO big and mature and old!!) and we have the other half to tell my brain that I'm so super young....right!? Haha! Love that Bri is true to his USC roots!!
There was LOTS of cousin time, and it was awesome!!!  I know from experience that it can make or break a family event.  We are blessed with cousins that really love eachother.  Kade and Bex are proof here.....
My baby sis with her baby Tristan.  Isn't he just adorable!!  Aunt Laci decided to help him embrace his curls here...not sure if his mom loved it or not :)
This is when it may go from "oh what a fun family reunion" to "are you guys sick or what?"  Well, I'll just start by prefacing that I don't believe this is the norm at most family reunions.  In fact, I thought it was hilarious/demented myself, BUT we are Olmsteads and it was an OLMSTEAD reunion so I wasn't too surprised (the in-laws on the other hand may feel different :)  Anyways, Brion Hopkins is Mr. Crossfit. He came fully equipped with workouts and ran them every morning.  He is the "cool" part of our family so he had quite the following.  Regardless of the fact that some don't exercise at all.  I'm sure if anyone was watching us from other cabins, they were thinking "oh what a great place to hold a Biggest Loser camp." Then, when they peeked closer and saw that not one of us is overweight, they thought "wow.....are they for real?"  Starting early in the morning, you would see some leaving for morning runs (me), others taking the Rhino out with road bikes attached, mid-day runs, and then crazy Crossfit sessions.  Here are some of us doing push-ups til you give up or barf.......
Brian doing the death hang during push-ups....
My poor dad had his knee scoped the week before so he was a tad bit stir crazy.  He's faithfully worked out twice a day his whole life.  Yes, he's most of the reason we are who we are! Luckily he found some weights and made good use of them!
Flutter kicks anyone? The kids thought it was great!
Don't worry....we relaxed plenty too!  Love this picture of my dad.  Born and raised on the beach means he'll find the sun wherever he is!
Although the lake is freezing cold, the boat was a hit and the kids loved the tube rides.  Here's part of our group coming in from a ride.
Love this picture because it captures Beckham playing in the sand and Brian "icing" his back that he threw out earlier that morning.  Anyone that knows Brian will be impressed that he was anywhere NEAR that freezing water.....and to be submerged!?  Yes, his back hurt that bad and he was desperate!
The grandkids were thrilled with the pinata filled with candy and money!
Olmstead sisters minus Brooke.  Love my sisters and all they add to my life!
Camryn taking a swing.  Gma Trudy's face cracks me up!

Brian and I started the trip a day later than the rest due to soccer/work, but it was SOOO wonderful to have him there the entire time with me!!  It just makes such a difference when he's around!!  Love him so much....
 Cute cousins minus 3....or 4?

Sad it's over, but grateful for the good memories.  The kids didn't want to leave.  Neither did the adults :)  Brian and I have mentioned several times since the reunion just how blessed we are to be a part of this great family!  My siblings are good/fun/awesome people and my parents have given all to bless us as their kids.  We are lucky for sure!  Thanks mom and dad for making it happen!! Love you!

25 weeks....

Different clothes, same day....just for the heck of it.  Overall, I'm feeling great.  It's hard for me to complain at all right now, even though there are many times I really want to.  I'm tired, but I know it's because our June has just been absolutely insane busy and I haven't spent enough nights in my own bed.  I am honestly scared for the 3rd trimester....I can't imagine how tired I'll be.  BUT, having said that, I'm feeling very blessed.  No doubt.  Baby is active, but not to the point that I'm super uncomfortable.  I'm still able to get up and run 3-5 miles a day and feel really good.  I know that could change at any moment, but I truly LOVE starting off my summer mornings with a run.  When I do sleep, I'm comfortable...that will change soon too :) Overall, I'm just very grateful for a body that has helped create and grow 6 babies.  I do not take that for granted....at all.  Every once in a while, I realize that in a very short time (like 3 months) this will all be over and most likely, I won't experience it again.  Seems absolutely unreal to me as being a mom is all I've ever really wanted to do...or be.  The moments will come that it's more than I can handle thinking about, but right now I'm trying to enjoy every minute with this little boy in my belly.  Being pregnant is truly one of my favorite things!

"We're here for RSL!!!"

Despite having the stomach flu going around the family ALL week, we bucked up and made it to the RSL game last night.  Camryn was super sick yesterday, but felt better after taking Zofran and begged to go.  She did quite well considering.....me on the other hand, had to be really talked into even leaving the house....I am SOOO done with illness in the summer!!!  Lame!  The stadium was packed and the girls were giddy as could be to see all their sports heros.
We met Uncle Jason and Aunt Mindy there too.  And it was Mindy's b-day!!
The sun was not kind to us for pictures, but it is what it is......
RSL lost 2-3.  Bummer.....BUT, we all agree that it's the only team we're ok with them losing to.  It was so fun to watch LA Galaxy and two of our favorite soccer players, Beckham and Donovan!!  Here's Beckham taking a free kick. And yes, he did bend it!!
The girls were totally into the game and sad when RSL lost.  It was hilarious to listen to them completely disect what the players were doing wrong.  It's good to know that our money is doing something for their soccer knowledge.  Isabelle was the best....she will be a coach someday.
And here's one more of Beckham chatting with his goalie.....because let's be honest, he's fun to look at! :)

Uncle Allen's wedding

I took the kids to St. George for a week of fun and gma/papa time.  My mom's brother, Allen, got married on Saturday.  It was perfect timing and we were so glad we could be a part.
My mom, Aunt Val, my grandparents, and Uncle Allen. I love that my mom is holding her sisters hand. So sweet.
I had to capture this cute picture.  It was picture time and my mom is all about looking bright and vibrant for pictures.  She also made the dress my grandma is wearing and it looked beautiful on her!!
Uncle Allen danced with each of the girls.  It's been fun to have him back in Utah.....he's so good to our girls!
Brian flew in on Friday night and I don't think I've ever been so glad to have him back with me!!  In order to get things done and balance it all, we have to be apart much more than we like.  It's just our reality right now in this season of our life......It would be a lot easier if I didn't love him so much! :)
This picture was taken moments after a stranger asked if I was expecting #3.  We got a good laugh out of it.  Kinda looks like a naked family picture without the 3 girls!  Haha!
