Sunday visitors

The Desmond family came to play!! Most of you have heard about our great friends......Dan, Nicole, Bayli, Kolbi, and Sydni. I babysat Sydni in Vegas and she and Camryn were attached at the hip everyday. Oh, they were so cute together. Haylee was best buds with Kolbi, I mean BEST friends. Well, they moved to Lehi just after we moved. They were driving through today and stopped for a few hours. I couldn't hold back the tears when I saw them at the door. We've really missed them. Sydni was so grown up (even 3 months will do that) and Camryn was in total heaven. She just kept kissing Sydni's cheeks and saying, " Hi Sydni." The girls went straight downstairs and we didn't see them for 3 hours. Not a peep. It was so fun to catch up with Nicole.......great friends are truly priceless!

CLOSED!!!!!! DONE!!!!!! FINITO!!!! (is that even a word)?

I only have a minute and I'm shaking with excitement while writing this. WE FINALLY SOLD OUR VEGAS HOME!!!!! It's so official, it makes me cry. A mere few souls know what an agonizing process this has been. Really, sometime when we've recovered from the emotional and mental torment, we'd probably be glad to tell our story. In fact, it may appear in a little movie about nightmare home sales. Yes, it's been that bad. We went into escrow almost 8 weeks ago so that in itself is a LONG, painful time. We've hit literally every "hold up" you can when selling a home.........the best one being the potential buyer walking away last Thursday. He was just " done" and we called ANOTHER agent in Vegas to get ready to start from scratch on Saturday. When we found out about this on Thurs, my poor dad got the horribly, terrifying call from me. And for those that don't know my dad well, he doesn't do the emotional freaking out thing. Friday we got a call that "oh, it went through!" I don't think the buyer is thrilled, but I actually don't care at all. It's his and he can deal with it now :) Anyways, we be DONE with Vegas now and it feels so dang good!! Fed Ex just showed up at our doorstep with the "goods" and I almost kissed the boy! :) Yeeeeeha!

Surprise for me!

Two days ago I got a HUGE package delivered at my doorstep. So big in fact, that Isabelle asked me if there was a baby inside. Oh, now that would be cool.....no weight gain, aches or pains :) Anyways, it wasn't a baby. But, it was the cutest red shelf and angel baby that Farrah sent me. She made the shelf (I will post a pic ASAP) and the little angel was holding a "miss you" sign and that is to remind me of Raegan. They were both so cute and yes, it made me cry. Funny that my brother would call the exact minute that I was reading the card from Farrah and balling. Farrah is such an amazing person, and I am soooooooooo glad that Shawn blessed me with her as my one and only sis-in-law. Words can't express what it meant to me to be trusted with Raegan for a week. Heck, I may be the pickiest mother on earth when it comes to leaving my kids. From mommy to mommy.......thank you Farrs, you are the best!! Just thought these pics were cute of the girls having fun with the "popcorn" from the package.

cousins

Here are a few pictures from our weekend with the other "McCune girls". Devan, Britney and Alexa were so much fun. Here they all are enjoying donuts on Sat morning, sipping hot chocolate after Haylee's FREEZING soccer game, and Camryn lovin' the big cousin role. It was so fun to have pure entertainment for a few days. I even enjoyed doing hair for SEVEN girls in the mornings!!! What a blast!

Grateful for....

No, it's not Thanksgiving and this pic has nothing to do with the post. I just love it though. Looks like Camryn just whipped out the, "what you talkin' 'bout Willis " line. Anyways, I've wanted to do this for a few months, but just forget. Here are some things I was/am grateful for during the month of September.
-autumn.....something I've missed so much for the past 3 years!
-our home here already feeling like "home"
-my daily runs in the morning where the air is TOTALLY clean and fresh and so many others out running (even at 6 am)
-great friends I can call anytime and chat with
-being able to get to Provo in just under 3 hrs........love it there!!

Brian:
-making sure we read scriptures every morning even if life is crazy
-giving me a kiss when he sees me for the first time after work, no matter where we are or who is around
-helping Madison read almost daily....she may be a book worm :)
-showing Haylee how to REALLY do the running man....my version just gets laughed at :)
-cooking dinner when he can tell I'm slacking
-grocery shopping because he knows I really HATE it

Haylee:
-seeing her smile when she knows I got Pop Tarts for her
-getting up in the morning and getting dressed and done before I get home from my run
-her piano skills :)
-being ok with sleeping on the floor when Cam literally kicks her out of her bed
-hearing her say," what's up mom?" when she walks in the house
-singing so loud during the Primary program that most thought she was singing a solo

Madison:
-her beautiful hair that everyone loves to touch
-her willingness to give up the seat behind the passenger even though she got there first
-her chubby little toes
-being ok with the tooth fairy not showing up because she didn't know we moved :)....oops
-eating 4 sloppy joes in one sitting
-her dances to any HS Musical 2 song

Isabelle:
-her love for sleeping
-acting like life can finally begin when daddy walks in the door
-for loving Life cereal more than anything
-her sweet mothering ways
-watching her walk around with a cell phone talking to someone for a long time
-her kisses

Camryn:
-her perfectly shaped lips
-her addiction to Strawberry Shortcake
-asking for "cookies 4,5,6" first thing in the morning
-calling me "mamalicious"
-the way she says "I go wish you mom?"
-getting on the piano and practicing after Haylee finishes
