three is to dream im dreaming all over, and mightaswell list the remainder of my dreams.
i want to seek for holistic education. the way my school taught me. i want:
-to study art. move beyond my confinements of mangastyles, to fine art. traditional art. the brushstrokes and colour tones, highlights and shadows.
-to become well exposed to many forms of technology. programming: java? ohh and linux! multimedia: digital imaging. video editing. 3d rendering. music sythesis.
-to study photography! as a way of expression, as a way of preserving my history.
-to pick a language! while japanese is nice, i dont mind others [aswell?] always nice to have more than a method of conversing.

materialistically. i will forsee myself wanting: 1. a new media player for songs. ipod or psp? 2. a decent laptop. 2yrs later when i come out. mines 5yrs old, excuse moi. 3. a nice camera. 2yrs later. preferbly a dslr to capture colour tones well. 4. maybe one pair of casual shoes. cos i only have 1 running shoe and 1 outing shoe.
and thats it! mostly not anytime needed. only a media player in need.

made by the man [james cameron] who did the epic movie titanic, this is a futuristic show. man in conflict with an indigenous race called navi on Pandora, which is some moon.
made in 3D, i read on the straits times few weeks back on the budget and amout of effort into making its visuals.
so my fam and i went to catch it. i was wondering what to expect.
and i was swept off my feet.
the feeling of watching that show was like catching a full HD movie on a 50ft cinematic screen.
details were totally clear and crisp. and the bluefaced friends. completely computer generated, they feel too humanlike. until we lose sense of whether we are staring at actors or computer made images.
plot was ok, and soundtracks were quite impressive.
i'd like to go on abt all that graphics rendering and visual geekiness, but no one will understand me again :D so... i'll leave it as that.
i'll safely state that it is the new benchmark. a technological breakthrough. for all its eyecandy, rather, eyepopping visuals.
icantbelieve that im blogging so many times a day~ some persistent habit really.

Vocaloids?
wikipedia states that "Vocaloid is a singing synthesizer application software developed by the Yamaha Corporation that enables users to synthesize singing by typing in lyrics and melody."
doesnt help much, does it :P
basically they went about recording the voices of singers/voice actors or actresses.
so you can actually make use of this software to insert syllable after syllable of japanese characters of their alphabet into a piece of music.
its mainly targeted as a musical synthesizer and used to create [japanese] songs.
i think the program has so much potential. for budding composers who cant sing perhaps. they can use the vocaloid to "sing" for their piece~
the vocaloid now comes in many packages
this is miku hatsune. she is the first vocaloid. comes packed with a cutesy voice that will appeal to otakus ^^
this is the pair rin and len, sold together as a boy/girl duo in another sep package.
im currently sampling the official tracks that were produced. and im really impressed
kyaa~ this mv is totally awesome. the singing is pieced letter by letter,btw. thats how great the technology is.

with not much time left for much, guess this is all i could do hm?
im wanting to expand my drawing references folder.
i want to increase my exposure to weapons of all sorts. characters wielding blades, katanas, shuriken, guns etc. kind of hard to find good postures.
also welcome to increase the amount of standard cosplaying characters. which are much easier to find. my only complaint would be the filtering process. too much ecchi gets in the way. and i dont intend to draw ecchi. *slaps*
oh, in general also in demand for male characters, be it scans or walls [wallpapers] wonders where to source for those.
