So Tired

I put the kids up to the table last night for dinner.  We said prayer, I gave them their food, and then I went back to make my plate.  Brynlee was just chatting away, which is normal, so I didn't think anything of it.  When I got back to the table and sat down, this is what I found from the unusually quiet Boston.
Yep, this is what happens when your 2 1/2 year old decides he is too old to take naps.  Once he finally slows down he ends up loosing the battle.  Silly boy.

The Treehouse Museum

While Lance and Cody were at the UDA meetings, Brooke and I took the kids to lunch and then to The Treehouse Museum in Ogden.  My kids LOVED it! They were pretty upset when we had to leave 2 hours later.  We will definitely be going back again soon and it was so nice to be able to catch up with Brooke!
Yep, my little bull rider; chaps, vest, hat and all.  He thought he was pretty hot stuff!
And a bronc rider, oh boy...
Future rodeo queen :)
No joke, this was Brynlee's favorite!  You really could milk this cow.  Of course, only water came out but still.  I think we might need to send her to Great Grandma and pa Clark's house!
Showing fireman Boston how it's done!
They had a school house with chalkboards, desks; everything you could imagine. Bryn just loved.
She got to pretend to be the teacher.
Farmer Boston who was annoyed that I wanted to take a picture. hehehe
I think he was coveting all these tools :)
The sword in the stone.  They both tried to get it out but to no avail.  No king or queen at our house!  Not for real anyway :)
Brooke, me and Porter.

So, FYI, if you live anywhere near Ogden or ever go visit that area, make sure you stop by.  Your kids will thank you :)  So fun.

My Funny Boy

I just love this kid.
He's always making us laugh.  Like when he "reads" (okay it's really repeats, but still) the scriptures in a funny voice, which he does often. Or when he does his fake laugh to try to get us to laugh.   Or when he pretends to be Bob the Builder, singing the theme song and everything.  And he is chuck full of funny faces, the likes of which you are about to bestow your eyes upon :)
This is what I get when I ask him to smile.
And we can't forget his favorite things.  Hat--check, Toy Story boot slippers--check, acting like a goofball--check :)

Japanese Girls' Day!

Brynlee's friend Bella was born in Japan while her dad was in the Navy.  I guess they have a special day over there just for girls.  How fun huh!?  Anyway so they always make sure to celebrate girls day every year even though they don't live there.  The girls love dressing up, eating girly food--heart shaped sandwiches, cupcakes--making fun jewelry and playing princess.  Brynlee loved it.  Then again, what girl wouldn't?
