The last few weeks

DANCE/GYMNASTICS RECITAL
Bryn's been taking a dance/gymnastics class this last year, which she has absolutely loved!  A few weeks ago they had their end of year recital.  She was so excited and did such a great job!
My Little Rock Star dancer :)
Then it was on to gymnastics!
She had so much fun.  She can't wait to start again next year.  This "summer break" is going to kill us both!  She asks me all the time when she gets to go back to dance class :)

CHILDREN'S MUSEUM @ THE GATEWAY
Aunt Kelli took her preschool to the children's museum and asked if we wanted to tag along.  The kids had a blast!  Although my kids are now officially terrified of helicopters now....we live next to the hospital and my kids love to watch the helicopters land and leave.  They have a helicopter that you can go sit in and stuff at the museum so I thought, "hey, they are going to love this!"  WRONG!  They were just fine until some kids in the "operating room" pushed the button that turns on the helicopter sound (which by the way is really loud and sounds completely real)  And that was the beginning of the terrified panic stricken children of mine.  They both started screaming and crying and held on to me for dear life.  If anyone was watching I'm sure it was a sight to see.  Now whenever you ask Boston about helicopters he says "No, helicopter, no helicopter!"  Sheesh.  But at least they enjoyed the rest of their adventure at museum.  Thanks again Aunt Kelli for inviting us!!
The waterplay area was a hit
Maklee and Brynlee testing their skills in the theater department
Oh man, my kids LOVED this ball area.  You could drop the balls down tubes, they had tubes that would suck the balls up and you could watch them go to different parts of the room.  Hard to explained but it was a fun little area and my kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

LANCE'S BIRTHDAY!
Nerdy, nerdy, look who's 30!!  Yep, May 2 Lance turned the big 3.0.  He tried to pretend that he was okay with turning thirty but I know the truth ;)
The kids were so cute.  They love birthdays!  Brynlee was so excited to give her dad his birthday presents that she handed it to him and then immediately started opening it up for him :)
And how would you like this for a birthday present?
Okay, maybe if you had a Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, even March birthday.  But May?!  REALLY?!?

OUR TRIP DOWN SOUTH
Oh it was heavenly.  It was warm and we got to visit with friends.  What more could you ask for?!  We are definitely going to have to make this trip more often (and hopefully we can coordinate our trips to St. George more often Ang!)  Lance and Jeremy watched the kids for most of the weekend while us girls hung out.  We did a lot of shopping, eating, went to the movies, made bows, layed by the pool and just hang out.  Next time though we will have to make sure there is more time for lounging in the sun...ahhh...it was so nice but I definitely didn't get enough in!  The boys and the kids (from what I hear) did some BBQing, hiking, swimming, played at the splash pad, played in the yard and they even went to a parade and carnival.  Brynlee and Boston are still talking about Megan and Kenzie.   Thanks for the GREAT weekend guys!  Lets do it again soon!
