Swimming, swimming, just keep swimming....

This month Brynlee has been taking a swimming class with her friend Bella.  I was a little worried that she wouldn't like it because at home in the tub she flips out when any water gets in her face.  But I also decided that it was time for her to get over this little fear if possible.  So I enrolled her and by the second class she was holding her breath and putting her head completely under water.  WHAT THE?!  Could this really be the same girl that just the day before was crying because Boston splashed her with water?  I'm sure seeing her little friend Bella go under the water with no problem at all helped.  Ah, peer pressure.  Sometimes it can be a good thing right?!  Now I have a little fish on my hands!
Brynlee thoroughly enjoying herself.  And of course I brought the camera on the day they learned about life jackets.  Oh well.
My brave little fishy.
**And behind the scenes of this pictures I am trying with all of my might to keep Boston out of the water.  He wants to get in so bad.  Poor kid.**
Oh and the title of this post, just think Dori from Finding Nemo....remember?  If not, go watch it and you'll figure it out :)

The moments that make my heart melt

YEE-HA!! Good times at the Rodeo!

Or what I like to call the "mini" Clark reunion.  We look forward to this get-together every year and this year did not disappoint!  The horses, the cattle, the ropin', the buckin', the smell....okay, I could totally do without the smell :)  But all-in-all we had a great time!  Thanks bunches Papa & Grandma!
*Boston thought he was hilarious opening his mouth wide like a yawn instead of smiling for the picture.  It took all he could muster not to break into a wide grin or the giggles.  He almost lost it a few times.  How do they come up with stuff like this?

Easter Sunday pictures

Okay, so it was the week before Easter, but it still counts right?!  Brynlee was so excited to wear her Easter outfit and Boston...well he could have cared less :)
The boy just wanted to go outside.

My girly
Beautiful as always.  She's so good about pictures.  And then their is my little man.....
Sheesh, good thing we have digital cameras!

"Hoppy" Easter!

We spent Easter with my family this year.  Brynlee loved coloring the eggs.  I think all the eggs got dipped in color about 10 times before we finally convinced her that they were probably done.
Saturday night Brynlee informed us that we all needed to go to bed because the Easter Bunny was on his way :)  She was thrilled with the idea that the Easter Bunny was going to bring her candy and a little toy or two.  Good job Mr. Bunny, you did not disappoint ;)
**Don't ask about the stickers all over Brynlee's face.  We told her that they were for the eggs but she thought they would look better on her I guess**
Boston serenading us while the boys were at priesthood session.
Poor little Boston threw-up during the night and wasn't feeling the best for the Easter festivities.

Laundry basket entertainment

A week or so ago I was in the other room and could hear Brynlee crying/whining for me.  So I come out to the living room to figure out the problem and saw this:
Yep, that's Brynlee in the basket with Boston on top of it.  Of course Boston thought it was the funniest thing in the world that he had his sister trapped and Brynlee was less than amused.
Boston kept teasing her and poking her through the holes of the basket.  And the teasing and torturing begins.  Isn't it a little early?  Hmmmm, guess not :)
Then Brynlee figured out that if she pushed upward really hard that she could catapult Boston off of the basket.  And the tables have turned.  Brynlee thought this was hilarious while Boston, of course, did not.
The joys of siblings!

My little Bossman and his obsession

Boston is my sweet little boy that loves him mommy.  If Lance ever tries to tickle me or anything Boston is always right there ready to protect and save me with awesome hugs.  I love it :)  He's also as boy as boy can get.  He loves anything that has a motor and wheels.  For example, we were at Lance's office the other day and you can see the freeway from the windows.  He sat their and said "bye-bye truck" to all the cars as they passed.  It was pretty funny.  He also lives for the buses to drive by our house and pick up the kids.  He'll stand on my couch and watch until he can't see it anymore.  We live right next to the hospital and the helicopters land in our back yard (literally, I'm totally not joking)  So whenever they come we have to stand at my bedroom window until it lands and turns off the engine and then the moment that he hears it start up again to leave he bolts it to my room.  And let's not forget the trains.  The kid loves them.  Like I said, he's a boy!
These are a few pictures of him playing with his cars and road that he got for Christmas.
He's so funny, he loves it get in it and play.
Do they taste good too?
Enjoying himself while making car noises :)

Random Picture Taking...

Every once in awhile Brynlee will tell me she "looks beautiful" and wants to take some pictures.  I usually get a few picture of her posing and then trying to doing something goofy (she is sooo her dad.  With the goofiness anyway....) and then she decides to take over the camera and take picture of me and Boston.  See for yourself.
