A big day in the Clark household

So with a New Year brings new church manuals, a new time to go to our sabbath day meetings (which I really dislike by the way, 1:00 church does not work well with little ones), and new classes to attend.  I now have a Sunbeam and a nursery goer.  It was a rough Sunday for mommy, but the kids did great!  Brynlee was so excited to go to Primary with all the "big kids".  She was one of the first ones there so she got first dibs on chairs and of course she picked the one with the "sunbeams" cover on it.  She couldn't have been happier and waved goodbye with a huge smile on her face.  And that's when the waterworks started.  Yes, I am pathetic (darn those emotions!).  Seeing her sitting there all grown up just got to me.  And to make matters worse we passed a member of the bishopric while I was trying to get my emotions under control and of course had to try to explain myself.  Then half way through class Lance went to check on Boston in Nursery and this same member of the bishopric walked passed giving him an inquisitive look as to why Lance was peeking in the nursery window.  So Lance told him that it was a big day for us because it was Brynlee's first week in Primary and Boston's first day in nursery.  And then that member of the bishopric just happend to be conducting that Sunday and mentioned my little drama to the whole world.  He didn't mention my name but anyone who looked my way would have known he was talking about me because of how red I was.  Anyway the kids did great and I can't believe how old they are getting!  Time really does fly.
My little Sunbeam!

And my 18 month old ready for church

Boys! Are they all like this?

Wow, boys are so messy.  We have to strip Boston down for every meal or I end up doing crazy amounts of laundry.  I think that he thinks he has to use all of his senses when he eats.  He usually ends up squishing whatever we are eating between his fingers, smelling it, wiping it all over himself, throwing it on the ground.  You name it, he has probably done it.  So my question is: how long does this stage last?

Good thing he is so stinkin' cute!  It's hard to get too mad at this face.

And since this is kind of a "food" post I just had to post this picture of Boston eating Great-Gma's homemade pickles.  He loves them!

Rock'n in the New Year!

We hung out with our friends Randy and Malory New Years Eve.  We had a blast playing Rock Band and the kids were all smiles because they got to play and stay up waaaay later than they usually do.  Although I didn't let them stay up to ring in the New Year.  But hey, like they really knew or cared about that!

Oh yeah, I have some amazing guitar skills :)

Boston had to be in on all the action.  Aren't my little drummers the cutest!?

Me and the drum master.  She is AMAZING at the drums.  I struggled getting my feet and hands to do two different things.....I should probably just stick to the guitar!

Bryn and her "best friend" Kenzie

That's my boy.  In a room full of girl stuff he still managed to find a truck :)

ChRiStMaS!

This year we spent Christmas with Lance's family.  We had a great time and the kids loved playing with their cousins!  The kids were funny Christmas morning.  Brynlee was pretty excited and wanted to open all of her presents plus help Boston open his.  Boston would open one thing and then just wanted to play with it and wasn't really interested in opening anything else.  But he did like scoping out what everyone else got.  He especially liked the Cabella trucks and trailers his cousins got.  Oh but it was love at first sight when he opened his puppy :)  We had a great Christmas!

Brynlee got Princess shoes!  She was so excited.  Can you tell?  YAY for Uncle Ryan!

Brynlee made us put this dress on her that grandma and papa gave her right then and there.  She loved it.

Boston loved the farm animal set he got from his cousin.

Look at him checking out his new tools.  They not only make noise (thanks a lot grandma and papa) but they look real too.  Love it!

Boston, Emree and Reagan checkin' out Bostons new toy.

Princess socks.  Life doesn't get much better than that :)

If it comes with shoes and a sparkily dress than she'll take it!

The boy absolutley LOVED his puppy.  And do you like the nice goose egg he has inbetween is eyes?  Yeah, glass cabinet door, nintendo wires and Boston don't mix very well.....

Alas, another puppy.  What's next?  A real one?  HA!  I think not!!

Bryn and Reagan in their twinner jammies relaxing away.

All the kids LOVE uncle Ryan.  Especially Boston.  I think he followed him around and made him hold him or play with him 99% of the time we were there.

We went to a play place with the kids while we were in Idaho.  Brynlee loved sitting on these and jumping away.

Pretty pretty princesses!  They absolutley love, love, loved these dress ups that they got.

It definitely was a Merry Christmas!
