Tagged?

Oh boy, I guess I have been tagged. Which means I am suppose to tell a few facts/quirks about myself. I am not so sure about this, but I suppose I will be nice and play along (Thanks a lot Tina!) Here goes!

So since it is the holiday season and all, I will start with my bazaar love and annoyance when it comes to Christmas music. As I see it we only have about ONE month to listen to Christmas music so the day after Thanksgiving I think we should all break out the Christmas music and dive into the Christmas season! Now my annoyance comes when we go to church and they DON'T SING CHRISTMAS MUSIC! I mean come on!!! We only have 4 Sundays to sing all of those Christmas songs that we have in our wonderful hymn books and we don't? I don't know, maybe I am just weird and crazy ...

Second, I have a fetish when it comes to accessories. Now don't laugh, but I just can't leave the house if my shoes, purse, and belt don't match. Now what I mean is if I am wearing a brown pair of shoes then I need a brown belt and bag. But this is why I have started getting colored bags (mostly diapers bags since that is all I usually get to carry anyway) Like right now I have a red bag so I can wear that with either black or brown and it is all good! Then I don't have to spend 10 minutes switching my things from one bag to the other all the time. But the belt and the shoes still have to match!

Now onto the toes. So I think it is really cute when people have their toes all nice and manicured (as long as they don't get too out of control with it and get them too long, then I don't like it at all!), but me ... I just can't do it. I love it and would love to do it, but I have to keep my toe nails short. Once they start to show some white they need to be cut! I don't like when they rub in my shoes or if I rub my foot up my leg or something and I can feel the edges of my toe nails. Yuck! Anyway, kind of weird, but it's true!

Last but not least, if I leave the house I HAVE to have mascara on. I don't care about my other makeup, but I have to have the mascara. I think I know why I am so petrified of leaving the house without it though. And the explanation begins ...because everyone says I look like I am 16 WITH makeup on so I don't want to be caught looking like I am 12 when I am out in public with an 18 month old with people giving me funny looks and I know exactly what they are thinking "that poor teenage mom. She looks so young. I wonder if she even knows who the father is!" LOL okay I might be exaggerating a little, but you get the point right?!

I debated and decided to put in one last thing. I don't think I am in the minority because I have read a lot of other peoples replies to being tagged and they all happen to mention it too! I love to read the latest celebrity gossip. Stupid and crazy, I know. I tell myself "Why should I care what they say or what other people have to say about them" But I still find myself browsing the People and US weekly magazines in the check out line or at the doctors office. Now I can say I have never broke down and bought one, but I still love to see what is in them whenever I have a chance!

Now I want to hear from Angie, Holly, Brooke, Juliann & Jen. Play nice girls!

Brynlee the Gymnast! So Lance and I decided that we might need to put Brynlee in some gymnastic classes soon. We came into her closet the other day to find her hanging from the shelf. She thought it was so fun to hang and swing from it. What a funny little girl! She is so much fun to be around. Always making us laugh at her next big adventure that she comes up with!

For Thanksgiving this year we went to visit some friends in St. Augustine, Florida. It was a long trip (4 1/2 to 5 hours), but we had a great time! We had Thanksgiving dinner with Zac & Nicolette. There was lots of yummy food and I am afraid they are probably still eating leftovers! That same day we went and walked around old town St. Augustine. It is the oldest continually inhabited city in the United States. It was founded in 1518 (I think). It was fun to see everything. It reminded me of being in Europe with all of the old buildings and cobblestone roads, not that I have ever been to Europe ... Then on Friday we went to Jacksonville to do some shopping. Of course it was a little crazy, but hey, that is one of the things that makes shopping the day after Thanksgiving so fun right!? After we had our fill of the malls we went back to the Fountain of Youth in St. Augustine. Supposedly if you drink from the natural spring water you will live longer & stay younger looking ... we will have to see about that.

Our Little Cowgirl!

A friend of mine gave me these boots the other day and Brynlee saw them and insisted that I put them on her. She loved them. (But the only way I could con her into staying still and letting me take a picture was to give her a sucker and let her drink from my water bottle). After about 10 minutes of wearing them she came over to me and pointed to them and wanted them off. The poor girl has fat little legs and when I took the boots off she had the leather and stitching imprinted on her little legs! I guess she wont be wearing those boots anymore!

Brynlee loves to go visit the ducks and squirrels that live by the building next to us. Someone must feed them (I don't) because when they see us coming the ducks start running towards us. That's when Brynlee starts yelling "duck, duck, duck". It's funny. Then she just follows them around, sometimes she chases them, and sometimes she just points at them. I think she could spent hours with them. Then there are the squirrels. They don't get as close as the ducks, but she is still fascinated. She will just stand and watch them, point and smile.

Just Chillin'

Brynlee loves to sit on the curbs (or whatever they are called) in the parking lot. She will sit for a minute then get up and walk around to the other side and sit again. When she is bored with that, she moves onto the next one. I'm not quite sure what the fascination is, but if it makes her happy, then it makes me happy! :)

The "Beep, Beeps"

Brynlee loves the mini roller coaster at the mall. She calls it the "beep, beeps". She likes to just sit, point, and watch it go around and around. She gets so upset when we have to leave! As you can tell. We let her ride on it the other day. She was SO excited. We let her pick which on she wanted to sit, got her all buckled, and stood back to watch. The moment that it started moving a look of horror swept over her face. Everytime she would pass me she would yell "MOMMY, MOMMY, MOMMY". I must say I felt bad that she was so scared, but it was also one of the funniest things I have ever witnessed. Afterward we walked around the mall for a little longer and had to walk back past it to get to out car. As we passed she just pointed at it and said "beep, beep".

The Park

Brynlee loves the park. She loves to swing, go on the slide, and just play around on the equipment. There is just one thing, ... She HATES the sand! (I know, what are the odds that she hates sand and we live in Florida right next to all these beautiful beaches!) If she gets any sand on her at all she will just sit and wine until you wipe it off. She even walks really carefully to get around so that she doesn't get sand on her. It's pretty funny. And once again she is completely devastated every time we leave.

The car shopping cart

Every time we go to the grocery store Brynlee insists that she sit in the car shopping cart. She even knows exactly where the store leaves them on the side of the building outside the doors. The second we are out of the car she points in the direction. Once she is in she is all smiles waving at everyone in the store, pointing at everything (especially the balloons. She LOVES balloons) and "steering" the cart with the steering wheel on the cart. It's pretty funny.

Brynlee was excited to go trunk or treating once she realized there was candy involved. But once she got her first sucker she was done. All she wanted to do was eat that sucker! She makes a pretty cute ladybug though, don't you think!

Everytime I see this picture it makes me laugh! I've already got a candy thief on my hands. Am I in for it or what!

Sugar High! When we got home from trunk or treating Brynlee was really hyper! She only had 3 or 4 pieces of candy (that I saw anyway), but that sure did the trick! She thought that she was SO funny in her daddies shoes!

For some reason Brynlee got into her head that she didn't get to go with her dad to church and was going to have to stay home. She was completely devastated (as you can see). We finally calmed her down and explained that she was going to get to go with us. Not another tear was shed she kept waving and saying "bye, bye".

The Johnstons invited us to their haunted halloween party! We ate lots of yummy food, played games, and had a great time. It was fun to see everyone dressed up!
