Candy Cane Kitty

Hello, everybody! Today I'm sharing another holiday card! This one features the adorable Candy Cane Cat from Your Next Stamp, which I coloured with markers, fussy-cut, and popped up on foam tape. I also added Frosted Lace Stickles to the kitty's hat pompom and trim. Sorry I haven't been around visiting your blogs lately but I hope to get caught up this weekend!

Behind the kitty are stencilled snowflakes, made using embossing paste through a snowflake stencil (Hot off the Press Snowfall). I did some paper-tearing with scraps of patterned paper on the left-hand side and then stamped a sentiment at the bottom right from Your Next Stamp Holiday Snow Globe. Lastly I adhered three pink snowflake sequins.

Guest Designer - Christmas Craft Creations Reminder

Hello, everyone! This month I have been guest designing for Christmas Craft Creations so I'm back to share another card featuring our June theme of Trees. I hope you will be inspired to join our challenge!

I made a fun snow-globe shaker card!

Here are the products I used:

Die: KSCraft Designed by Rex Snow Globe

Stamp: Poppystamps Holiday Hoopla

Ink: Lawn Fawn Peacock

Patterned Paper: Whimsy Stamps Blurry Flurries

Other: Sequins and snowflake sequins

I die-cut the snow globe from various scraps of cardstock and paper-pieced together into a shaker card. I added lots of sequins and snowflake sequins inside the shaker and adhered three die-cut snowflakes on the outside of the shaker acetate. I tore a scrap of white cardstock and adhered it to the patterned paper to create a snowy scene and then adhered the shaker element. Lastly I stamped the sentiment.

June Guest Designer - Christmas Craft Creations

Hi, everybody! I'm happy to announce that I have been invited as a Guest Designer at Christmas Craft Creations for June! Yay! Our theme for the month is Trees, so I hope you can join us! If you would like to view the challenge rules, they can be found on the sidebar here.

I made a set of three cards!

I chose an older digital image from my stash called Winter Tree from Gingerloft (no longer in business). I digitally changed the colour to blue, grey, and light blue and added a holiday sentiment beneath the image (Beccy's Place Christmas Blooms). Using my paper trimmer I cut each image, along with the sentiment, into a rectangle and then rounded the corners.

For the background I used Memory Box 3-D Embossing Folder Snowy Forest on white cardstock. To create a snowbank that coordinates with the tree image, I tore some scraps of white cardstock and adhered. The tree/sentiment panels are popped up with foam tape, and I added lots of glitter on the tree boughs. Below is a close-up so you can hopefully see the sparkle a bit better.
