As if that weren't enough, we thought we would throw 4 graduations in there (Heather and Brad will graduate May 9th with 2 associates degrees each), Lindsay will graduate May 10th with her BA from UNC Greensboro, and Scott will graduate May 11th with his doctorate degree from Liberty. To say I am one proud wife and mom would be slightly understated!!!
Oh, and we thought that wasn't enough either. We decided to put our house on the market just to see what happens and after 4 days on the market, 14 showings and 2 offers later, it was sold. We will close April 30th. We thought seriously about renting, but after seeing the outrageous cost of rent and having to sign a year's lease of paying that outrageous rent, we seriously decided "no way". God led us to the perfect house...a new house...a 6 year old house (after living in a 40 year old house, a 6 year old house is brand new to us :)
We will close on that May 10th...yes, the same day as Lindsay's graduation. So we will go from here up to Greensboro quite early... yell, scream, cheer, etc for Lindsay and then back here with men and college men waiting to help us unload. Now for those of you who know Scott and I, there will not be a box left in sight come that Sat, May 11th. Why, there can't be....I have to celebrate with my family and in-laws that same night to celebrate all these graduates and then continue busy-ing ourselves with wedding plans, preparing for that BIG day the following Saturday!!!
We move Brad into his (and Lindsay's) new apartment on April 20. They are excited!!!! 4 years they have waited (I will say no more) and the day is almost here. An exciting time for our family. Oh yes, pictures will be coming!!!!
So until then, we will be knee high up to packing, inspections, working, doing ministry, celebrating, etc. The list is long :)
Until then, here are a few of our Easter pictures.....
Yes, they are crazy!
God's blessings!
