These crazy korean girls!

Didn't get through the Talentquest Semi-finals. Kinda disappointed but life still goes on. Was joking with Mom that it was probably because I was probably in a better position to lose cos I had family support. Here's Andrea and I on stage doing our thing!

Cousin Priscilla came down to support me too! And she gave me a nice sunflower. :) (Oh boy... my eyebags!!! eeks. But the picture's nice! :P)

Then went for cousin Felicia's birthday party at Aunt Eliza's place. Was really tired out man. Finally saw and touched Elmo! Elmo's Felicia's new Maltese doggy.

Oh well, now it's time to concentrate on Touch 2006! Rally up people. Would really appreciate you guys attending this concert. I'm playing Kolibre! sheesh. come come!!! haha...

Singapore Idol Dreams (dashed?)
I've given up chasing this dream. Firstly, because I'm too stressed out with Talentquest! (more details in the lower paragraphs) And secondly, I think it really cheapens the whole process of "working" towards stardom. Thirdly, I'm not really THAT into singing... and my singing isn't that wonderful as well... I'll wanna concentrate on my classical pop ambitions. I think that's more credible and reachable. One day, I really hope to cut an album... and more!

Talentquest 2006
Andrea and I have made it into the semi-finals to be held on 25th February at Jurong Point. I think it starts at 2pm for solos and 4pm for duets. The quarter finals was a rather tough fight. Among 3 pairs I must add, cos the other pair was simply... "not good", to put it nicely and politically correctly. One pair was announced to have gone through... and it was between us and 2 guys (who sang really well). We were most pleasantly surprised to find that we got through! :) Thank God. Really.

A Love Genie Parody
The UAN production went quite well, though the audience turnout wasn't as good... I sang "In This Life" which was received quite well... another thing to add to my CV! yay! Some photos of the lovely people...

August and I. Finally met this musical genius who's caused a lot of hype in UAN! haha... He's a great pianist. Could hear. :P












Anne and I. She did a cover of Christina Aguilera's "I Turn To You". Simply stunning.

As you can see... I have a new hairstyle (while keeping the previous one when I'm in "NERD" mode)! And though it's not very obvious in the photos... I highlighted my hair! haha...

One huge update done!

I'm gonna be playing in Touch 2006!

Will be doing a solo classical contemporary piece called Kolibre, by Tonci Huljic, first performed by Maksim! It'll be one of 2 non-classical performances in the line-up, the other being a vocal item. Do come down to enjoy an evening of great music! :)

Gonna sing at Arts House together with 6 others for a charity event. :) Haven't seen any official details on the UAN website yet! But small audience lah. 120 liddat.
