UPDATES!

1) Keong and I got into Dawn of Dreams Concert!!! When we get the ticketing details, you guys must go!!! haha... It's definitely gonna be more happening than 88 cos of the live bands and singing and SYMM!!! lol... I think we're gonna be the only classical pop act there. I can't wait!!! Tentative date would be 4th September. Mark it down on your calendars please! It's organised by UAN by the way... so it should be a higher profile event.

2) Went to NUS yesterday and got my PGP room keys! Gonna check out the place later this morning for defects... lalala...

3) Went for Science Orientation Week briefing yesterday. Remembered the venue wrongly!!! I went to LT27 and there was no one there! Luckily my Xphone II could let me check my yahoo mail... found out it was LT22 and rushed there straightaway... half an hour late. Saw Li Bing, Sherilyn and Kai Ning there. Signed up for it liao. Now gotta search for my sleeping bag... Though I really think I want to sneak back to my room and sleep on the sleepover nights.

4) Elektrik was well-received at 88! Though there were some minor complaints about the music drowning out the 2 pianos, people seemed quite impressed with the work... (The music is SUPPOSED to be loud...) I think Keong and I really perked the crowd up! Especially after such a boring first half...

Here's an update on my life.

1) Received good news about my hostel posting. I finally got PGP Class B!!! Thank God! Have found out my unit number and it seems I will be staying on the 7th floor! Thank God again!

2) Went for the MOE Induction Programme for the teaching scholars and awardees. Managed to meet up with many familiar faces... and from different categories of friends! Army, VJC and Church too! And yah. have to apologise to Sherilyn for typo-error-ing her name as Jerilyn. haha... Met up with new people too and tried to remember the names of people I've already met before yesterday... Hmm... Yao Long, Melissa, Zheng Yu, Christina, Jeremy... (who's my grand junior!!! gosh. In VJCPE somemore... found out because I asked a question about posting and stated my previous CCA. haha... She was sitting in front of me and we were chatting before that...)

3) There's OBS for the Local Scholars today (till Monday, I think). But I'm not in it! Medical problems...

4) 88 Rehearsals are up and running. Keong and I are getting into the hang of the song. TICKETS!!! ORDER NOW!!! I need to help you reserve! Don't wait till the last minute to buy!!!

Went back to VJ for rehearsal for 88 yesterday. Must say that some pieces played by the present VJ students really irked me! Although some were quite nice, those that irked me gave me a temporary headache. Argh.

Oh well, Keong and I managed to practice in both the piano room and the PT... And I also managed to practice my worship songs on the old yamaha grand (which used to be in the hall) at the foot of the spiral staircase at the PT block. The piano is so terribly out of sync liao...

All the memories kept flooding back... haha... where my shared locker was etc...

And the school has changed so much! Tiles changed in the concourse, office facade has changed and the concrete wall next to the school gate where our school name was inscribed was knocked down to make way for a new towering facade.

Wow...
