It was brought to my attention that I haven't blogged in about a month. So, here you go. Me, blogging once again. In a nutshell, I work Monday-Friday for 8 hours. The past two days after work I've gone straight to babysit (or had less than 30 minutes at home between). Tonight, the kids I babysat had quite a few difficulties. Malik (2 years old) hadn't taken a nap for the first time in a long time, he had a slight fever, and he's just not used to babysitters. Zia (8 months?) is teething, hadn't taken a nap, slept poorly through the night, had a fever, was congested, and she has an ear infection. Ya... it was a rough night.
I go to Paul's house a bunch and play with the kids. I've watched Blue's Clues a bunch this summer, including the birthday party one... twice. Last week we went to the zoo and saw the new flamingo exhibit. That was pretty cool. A while ago (maybe it was just last week?) I went to Paige's piano recital, and tomorrow I'm going to Katie's. I went to Ryan's preschool graduation a few weeks ago too! If only Tyler had some cool events that I could go to. Poor kid. ;)
It's hard not having a car. I can't just run errands when I think about them, I've got to develop a long list and then convince Jenna that we need to go get ice cream and stop at 10 places on the way. Last Saturday though Paul let me borrow his car to go run errands, that was fabulous. I actually got to go to the bank, and target, and other very important places like that. I still haven't gone to the post office to get 1 cent stamps which is my excuse for not writing to all my fhe bros and uncles who are out on missions now. Thank heavens that postage went up. Once I no longer have a lack of proper postage as my excuse I'll have to come up with something else. Or just bite the bullet and write a few letters every once in a while.
Yep, that's my life in a nutshell. If anything exciting happens, I'll be sure to blog about it.
