Here we just finished lunch at Belle, the restaurant on the plantation, and decided to take the little tour of the grand opening and glad we did...it was fun!

Whew..... November seemed like a flash around here and it's hard to believe that Santa is just about to knock at our door. We had a busy November with lots of Birthdays, a few fundraisers, and Thanksgiving not to mention that ALL THREE of US have had a yucky, snotty bug for about three weeks.Soooooo, we are all on the mend and I am finding myself scurring around with ornament exchanges, parties, shopping, wrapping, baking,ect........getting ready for Christmas before December passes me by too! Here a some fun pics over the past several weeks. Enjoy and happy holidays to everyone who peeks at our blog:)

Happy Birthday to my sweet, sweet baby boy!!! Grant turned 1 on Saturday and we just celebrated all week and weekend long!!! We had 2 parties, one party on Thursday with his little friends and one party on Saturday with mostly family and a few close friends. Grant enjoyed every bit of his celebrations and it was so fun to watch, take pictures, video, and just live in the special moment!!! Where has the year gone.....I feel like I was just coming home from the hospital with my precious bundle and now he is such a big boy!! Here are some of the pictures from all the celebrations along with a few recent and random fun pics. Thank you to everyone who made Grant's first year of life so special and thank you for all the birthday! Also a special thank you to my sweet mama for helping so much during Grant's birthday... Our Date! So fun...thank you honey....I know it was truly a labor of love for Matthew!

This week was full of goodtimes! The week started with a surprise date from Matthew to see one of my favorite childhood shows..." Little House on the Praire" starring the THE Melissa Gilbert. The show was fantastic (I was just itching to be on that stage!) and it was so great getting to see who I would pretend to play ALL THE TIME as a little girl in my imaginary world....Laura Ingalls Wilder! Anyhoo, we had a great time and it was so nice to have a little date just the two of us although we missed Grant the whole time!! Grant started to walk with his little push toy this week and it has been so cute to watch him!! I don't think it will be long before he starts to walk on his own. The weekend was packed full starting with a FREE Keith Urban concert(one of the perks to living in Nashville). The weather was not all that great but Grant and I braved it anyway on Friday, this was his first concert. The show was outside and was pretty packed but we ended up getting really lucky!! I was trying to get close to take some pictures and I was shooed away by a cop....so I just thought I would go stand behind all the media and press, well, I was shooed away again until.....this really nice man with a press pass saw us and came over and struck up a quick conversation. Come to find out he was not the press, but with the Keith Urban Team....he was Robert Reynolds and for those who are not familiar with him he is in the Maverick band and used to be married to Trisha Yearwood. He was so nice and gave us his press pass to we could stand there really close and get some great pics. The day was fun and we ended the evening with friends for dinner. On Saturday we decided to go brave the H1N1 shot at Centennial Highschool....let me just say that we got there at 9am when the doors opened and the line was about 300+ deep ALREADY....we waited, and waited, and waited and finally got to get the shot and after us there were only 200 more doses left so we almost didn't make it. We have all 3 been vaccinated for H1N1 now so I am feeling alot better about the whole thing. After the whole shot thing we had a late brunch with our friends Brian and Jocee at Dotson's in Franklin ( that place it really good but definitely in time warp!) and spent the rest of the afternoon with our dear friends at the Franklin pumpkin fest. We were pooped by the end of the day so we decided to tuck it in for the night. Here are the highlights of the week. Enjoy!

Whew where has October gone?? I guess time passes quickly when you are having fun! We have definately had a very full Fall! Over the past few weeks we have had lots of family visit us, birthday celebrations, pumpkin patches and apple farms, horse racing, a visit to Lexington, a trip to Knoxville to shoot a commercial for HGTV(little acting gig), Arrington Vinyards with friends, flea market trips, Fall strolls, Trunk r Treat at church, whew..... it has been busy! Grant has really enjoyed this time of year and the fresh Fall air has been so nice!! He is 11 months and the count down to the BIG 1 is just 2 weeks away....can hardly get my mind around it!! Where has the time gone? He is such a joy and so funny! He continues to crawl and pull up everywhere and babbles all the time!! His favorite gesters of the moment are telling you that he is going to be 1....he holds his little fingers up and it is just the cutest thing...then he claps! He has really started to eat more big boy food and I have to say that I think I have a carbo lover on my hands oh and CHEESE! His favorites of the moment are grill cheese, waffles, and CHEESE....he LOVES cheese!! We are planning his Birthday right now and it is so fun!! My little baby is growing up before my very eyes!! Here are some fun pics from our recent activities. WARNING...there are alot of pics! Enjoy.
