Looking at Life and Laughing

Maggie is so alert and looks everywhere with such an intense gaze.
Maggie has beautiful, long eyelashes.
She flipped onto her stomach from her back twice in a row for Grandma Lindsay. I wouldn't have believed it unless I'd seen it on my own.
Tonight she mimicked Kristen's laugh and so we laughed hard, which made her laugh more. It was the first time she's laughed. We were teary-eyed with laughter and I tried to video it but the battery was dead. Fortunately I took a mental picture.
Maggie has almost figured out she has hands.
Maggie is starting to babble.

Maggie's Blessing

It was a beautiful day. Everyone made it there bright and early. Ryan gave a very nice blessing and she was sound asleep - something she does not do very often. Her blessing dress was made by Raena, a close friend who has a very special talent as an excellent seamstress. Unfortunately, Maggie had her first ever diaper blow out in her blessing outfit before all these pictures, so we covered her back with burp rags and took pictures fast! We're in the process of cleaning that beautiful dress now.

Winter Adventures

We got to go snowmobiling while my parents were in town while Ryan watched Maggie for us. My mom decided I was the better driver over my dad, so she road on the back of mine.

The next day, my dad and Ryan joined Val and Mark for some ice fishing. Two once in a lifetime experiences for the new grandpa.

The ONLY happy time in a car seat.

I guess she spent too much time in this swing...

Face plant. This is a picture Ryan took right after I totally ate it on an icy sidewalk. You can tell even my glasses hit the snow.
