Hello All!!! I know I have posted since I unveiled the SSP in May, but that does not mean that I have not been stitching. I've actually been stitching quite a bit and have several finishes.
First, I finished the cat in the quilt. The last I posted on Cat Cuddled in Quilt it looked like this:
And now it looks like this:
I still need to make it into a pillow but at least the stitching is done. I swear, I didn't think I was ever going to finish this piece.
Then I stitched Ursula Michael's "Let's Do Coffee". It was a super easy and quick stitch. I'm pleased with the way it turned out.
After coffee, I stitched Ursula Michael's "Let's Do Tea"....twice! The pictures are a little blurry but I think you get the idea. Take one....
Take two....
Both of the teas are gifts for other people and I actually want it for myself....so, yes, I will be stitching it one more time. However, not for a while.
Then to round out the Ursula Michael's trifecta I stitched "Let's Purr". This is for me. :) I left the heart shaped design that is in the pattern to the left of the cat off, I just preferred it that way.
Then I stitched the Lizzie Kate limited edition "Chicks"...twice. One for me and one for my best friend from back home that picked the pattern up when she was visiting. Now we will both have a cute pattern to remember each other by. Again, the pictures are a little blurry and I don't know why they show up rotated but you get the idea. These were super easy and fast to stitch up.
Take one...
And take two...
On September 1, 2013 I started my first Mirabilia. I've stitched on others in Round Robins but this is one that I chose to have for myself. Fittingly, it is September Sapphire Fairy. Here is what she'll look like when finished.
Here is where I am so far.
If someone can explain to me why the pictures rotate when they are the way I want them in my directory, I would greatly appreciate it. Please and thank you.
Last but certainly not least is Mishra, my HAED. He is my focus piece with everything else in the last 6 weeks being just when I need to have a break. When last he was seen, Mishra looked like this:
And now he looks like this!!!!
One page is completely done, I'm about halfway through a second and about a quarter through a third. He's stitching up faster than I thought he would. I think stitching my sister's wedding present may have something to do with that. :)
These are the projects that I've worked on the most consistently (and even finished) since finishing my sister's wedding present. It's nice to have options and not shown here are work on I'll Get You/I'll Cut You, the Spring Sampler, the Spring Cross, Tranquility and Siberian Tigers. I did put some stitches into each of these but not significantly.
Happy Stitching All!!!!

May Wipocalypse Post
Well, after 6 months and 53,400+ stitches the SSP (super secret project) is complete and has been gifted. The SSP was a wedding gift for my sister. My parent's took a picture of the location with my sister and her fiancée that I then gave to a friend that is a genius with Photoshop. She took my sister and fiancée out of the picture, filled in the gaps and viola I had a picture to send to The Stitching Studio in Canada. They took the picture below and created a 200 by 267 stitches pattern that included blended stitches.
I then took the pattern and stitched the design on 28 count evenweave. I started December 1, 2012 and finished in the early hours May 26, 2013.
Here is the final product.
I had it framed and gave it to them at their rehearsal dinner. They loved it. :)
Now back to working on the million of WIP that I have kept locked in the closet all this time...or maybe I'll start something new. :D

February 2013
This month was pretty good stitching wise. I've been working on the SSP project and at the end of February I'm at 21, 924 stitches complete out of the 54,300. That puts my progress at roughly 41%. I'm hoping to get to 36,000 stitches by the end of the month. Fingers crossed that I can make it.
Happy Stitching everyone!

January 2013 WIPocalypse Post
Hello all, I had so much fun with the 2012 WIPocalypse that I'm returning for 2013. Welcome! :)
Currently in my stitching queue is a Super Secret Project (SSP) that I cannot currently post pictures of, however, I can say that I've completed approximately 11,000 of the 53,400 stitches. So that puts me about 20.5% complete. I'm feeling a little behind the power curve on this project at the moment because it does actually have a due date. Hopefully, my stitching mojo will be back in full force soon.
Since I'm completely consumed with the SSP all of my many other projects are sitting ever so patiently but not so quietly in another room just waiting their turn to be worked. Here are the projects that I have in the wings and where they stand at the moment.
Siberian Snuggle (Howard Robinson)
Tranquility (Bucillia)
Mishra (HAED)
Christmas Animals (HAED/Luthu Travisi) - I have no idea why it's turned. Silly technology.
Spring Cross (Janlynn)
Spring Sampler (Janlynn)
I'm hoping to get the SSP finished and then start working on and completing a few of these this year. Fingers crossed. Happy Stitching All!!!
