Yikes where did the week go

I guess the end of the week was super busy because I didn't get any pictures posted. 

So here is today. Andrew set the table all by himself. The little plates were for out tacos and the big ones for our salad. 

Yesterday was a busy day for Adam. I actually didn't take pictures, but Richard did! Adam had a wrestling tournament in the morning and then Richard took the kids to the snow in the afternoon. 

Ya he got a black eye yesterday. 

Jacob didn't think much of the snow.

That night Richard and I got to go out to dinner with our friends the Petersons. So Angelee took this pic, but we have the same phone so it is almost like I took it right?

Okay so Saturday was super busy!!

Friday I gave Jacob his first bath in the bathtub sorta. I saw this on Pinterest and it worked so good, no slipping baby. 

Jacob figured out how to crawl into things. Dishwasher probably isn't the best, but cute anyway. 

I think that does it for the rest of the week!

Crèche Festival

The Crèche Festival is an amazing display of 100s of nativities. It is fun to see how many different kinds there are and from places all around the world. 

My kids really love participating.  Most of the crèches they have are kid ones and ones they have made, so they are pretty cute.

Black Friday

Hope this is a new Black Friday tradition. 

Happy Thanksgiving

Our day started with a fun run with friends up Honey Run Rd. Those that run went 5 miles, I was content walking 2!

Just a fun ride with daddy.

 We had turkey for an appitizer. 

Yummy pies! My friend Lucero from Peru made a pinapple pie. Sounds crazy but it tasted awesome!

Richards parents went to Scotland and brought Jacob a shirt that makes him look like he is playing the bagpipes. It is kinda creepy though cuz it makes him look like he has 4 arms. 

Lookout Point

PTook a scenic errand to Paradise today and Jacob and I stopped at Lookout Point, just cuz I haven't done it in a whole. Pictures never look as cool as it does. 

Jake eating sherbet

I gave Jake a little bit oft sherbet and he said mmmm afterward, so I had Adam record it and then of course it took 4 bites to get an mmmm.

Ok so I guess I can't upload videos onto blogger from my phone, so no picture today. Just wait till you see what I have for tomorrow. Like I know that already. Haha.

Andrews 5th Birthday

Longhorn horns

My picture today comes to you from a trip to downtown. Andrew and I were exploring Diamond D Western Wear and they have these huge horns. It is hard to see just how big they are on a picture, so Andrew stuck his little head on the picture so you kinda get an idea. 

German Spice Cookies

These cookies were one of my favorites on my mission at Christmas time, and today I found some at World Market.  These ones come in different shapes, but I only remember the windmill ones. They so good and I someone to come hid them from me so I stop eating them!

Picture a Day

I got a new phone and I can do fun things now like take pictures and write on my blog. I'm gonna try and take a random picture a day for the rest of the year and try to blog it, but don't hold your breath- cuz you will probably die!! Haha

So here is Jake already getting into mischief. I have no idea how he got under there, but of course he couldn't get out!

I didn't take this picture so don't think I am trying to be an over acheiver on my first day. My friend Diane took it at school, I guess if was twin day at school. The funny thing is Diane texted it to me and said for your blog! Is that a hint that I should blog? I also think it is funny because she is probably the only one that reads my blog and she took the picture! Haha that is why I had to do 2 pictures today!!

I realized last night that I post a lot of pictures of Jake on FB, but I have some family that isn't on FB so I should share some picture on here too!

Planting flowers

This is Andrew helping me plant some flowers. Those are not socks on his feet it is mud! We successfully planted one flower bed, but the soil in the other one was hard and really clay-like, so I decided we should soak it first and add some good soil. Andrew was walking through the flower bed to see how deep the water was getting.

Collages

My kids have discovered the collage app on my iPad, they have been making some pretty funny collages. Then they discovered that they could add things and all they want to do is take pictures and embellish them! Enjoy!

Kite Flying

I bought the kids kites for their Easter Baskets, but in all the excitement of Jacob coming a few days before Easter I didn't do Easter baskets. It has been super windy the last few days, so we went to the park last night and the kids flew their kites. Andrew and Kenzie had theirs as high as they could go, Adam was super cautious though and only had his out about 8 feet or so! He was afraid the wind would take it away or it would get stuck in the tree or the power lines.
