This Wednesday is Richard and my 10th anniversary! We are leaving the kids with his parents for a few days and headed off to Sacramento, ya not to far and nothing fancy, but our lives are so crazy I am so excited to go on a mini-vacation, especially before our big long drive to Georgia. I was looking for pictures of us since we got married and we just have lots of pictures of the kids, but I am sure that is pretty typical! So here are a few from when we got married.

It's Graduation Day
We got to watch Adam graduate from Preschool today. It was so official with there caps and tassels. The teachers even played a really cute kid version of Pomp and Circumstance. Then the kids sang some songs, then each child was presented with their diploma and the teachers said what their favorite thing about preschool was, what they learned and what they wanted to be when then grew up. Adam's favorite thing about school was having big buddies, which was a class of 3rd graders they would do stuff with. He said he learned his alphabet, and that he wants to be an ambulance driver and a police man when he grows up. Adam is all ready to head off to Kindergarten this fall. I hope that Kindergarten is ready for Adam!

Catch up Time-
So I actually feel like spending some time on blogger, and if my computer cooperates and loads pictures like a good computer should then you will have lots of pics to look at too!!
The Fishing Diva
I love these pictures of Kenzie. They totally describe the type of girl that she is. She loves wearing skirts, and her pink sparkly sunglasses. She loves to go out and "do" things, even if that means riding bikes to Horseshoe Lake, and fishing with her Dad and brothers. Although I think Kenzie is the only kid that even touched a fishing pole.
Father-Son Camp-Out Aftermath
The boys went off to the annual Father-Son campout last Friday. This is how the boys came home, I don't think they could have gotten more dirt on if they tried, but if the amount of dirt on their face shows how much fun they had, they had a blast. I think they really did, they slept in the back on the truck had taco bell for dinner, and some yummy breakfast that Richard and the Bishop made. I love hearing stories of how "boys" do stuff. There is no Moms there to freak out about the "your gonna hurt yourself" stuff. I think it is good for them, and really lets them be boys!
This is Adam with his catepillar "Mr. Pickles" Adam made him at preschool, and now he lives on the lava rock in our front yard!
Being "Hooded"
While the boys were on their campout, I got to go my sister Laurens Master Commencement. Graduations, graduation ceremonies, and all the tassel, hoods, and robes that go along with them are the most interesting yet weird traditions. For receiving your masters you were a robe with this long funky sleeves, and then you get "hooded" which isn't really a hood so I am not exactly sure what that term even means. Anyway my sister worked really really hard on her masters and I am so impressed and inspired by her. She did it while teaching and raising two kids, her husband going through cancer. She just rocks and I am so proud of her!

A Little Sewing Stuff
I love it when I get time to sew, and actually finish something! So 3 out of the 4 projects are done. Well 1 of the "projects" consisted of sewing 8 bonnets and 2 aprons for Kenzies class for their fieldtrip to the Gold Nugget Museum, where they are supposed to dress like pioneers. The scarf was just for fun, cuz I saw it on a blog and it had ruffles, and I LOVE RUFFLES!!!! So I had to make one, and sent it ot my sister. The red dress is a work in progress for a friend, and it will have ruffles too! It is coming along slowly, but I need to finish it so she can wear it before it snows in Rexburg!
The End of Soccer Season
So soccer season has been over for a while now, but here are some great pictures of Kenzies last game. The funny thing about her game is that for some reason we were running late and we just jumped in the car. I realized when we got there that Kenzie had on her soccer skirt from a different season-oh well it was still purple!
Coltons Blessing Outfit
My Sister-in-Law Jess, has 3 cute boys-I have made each of them their own blessing oufit, but the coolest part is that Jess had me make them from her wedding dress. I have made them all a little different, but this last one was probably the fanciest, and the first time I have tried to make shoes too. I should go steal a picture of him wearing it off her FB. He is a super cute little dark hairded boy!
