Moving on....
So my two favorite Pleasant Valley Seniors graduated last week- Sabrina and Victoria. They are both headed off to BYUI in January, and I am so thrilled for them, not just because I went there, but they are both converts and I now that it will be a super amazing experience for them both! They are such awesome girls-Congrats Sabrina and Victoria!!
Victoria asked me to make her a dress for graduation- It turned out really cute and a sweet color blue!
Me and Sabrina- I am not particular fond of this pic, cuz I am wearing a silly hat and I look like I am giving the "thumbs up" but really I am jusat holding my other glove. It was so freezing that night, it poured about 20 minutes before the ceremony started-so glad I have my PVBlue jacket!!

The End of 2nd Grade...

You know, like nunchuku skills, bow hunting skills, computer hacking skills... Girls only want boyfriends who have great skills.-Napolean Dynamite
We have had a lot of "projects" going on at our house lately. Some of them not exactly in the plan, but had to be done-like a new dog kennel because Shadow figured out how to jump over the fence, and then the fence between us and our neighbor blew over during one of the last really winding storms, and then a tree needed to come down. One night while Richard and I where out working on the fence he made some comment about how I married him for his skills- I told him I had no idea he had so many skills- I told him I married him for his car (which is totally not true, cuz he drove a light blue Toyota Cressida when I met him, which is a decent car, just not chick magnet) So here are some pictures of his sweet skills.
Shadows sweet new kennel, Richard sweet skills had it put up in one afternoon. The last pen, was cute white picket fence, however it was only about 3 1/2 feet tall, so once Shadow figured out how to jump over it, there was no keeping him in. So we got this 6ft chain link fence-we got it up just in time, because the next day the fence between us and the neighbors blew over, I can only imagine if Shadow could still escape- ahhh, that would be awful! So here is the new beautiful fence!
Looks beautiful doesn't it! It was a bit of a pain just prepping to get to the putting up the fence part. There was tons of roots from some sucker trees, and wisteria that had to be pulled out because they were running right under where the fence was going. The bottom of the fence was so rotted, we figured that the 4X4 would just come out, but once we got past the ground level, the wood was not rotted and took forever to dig it out. I left some roses and wisteria, I just need to get some lattice to hook it to so it doesn't grow throught the fence again!

Lastly we took a tree down right long the fence line on the other side of the back yard. Richard had to fight around a power line, along with the corner of our house and the fence (we didn't want to have to put up another one on the other side!) He landed it perfectly between the house and the fence! Now if the tree would just haul itself off! We have piles of "jungle" cuttings everywhere, and there are still oleanders on the back fence that we want to cut down! It has been a lot of work, but our backyard is starting to look more like a yard, than a jungle! Good thing Richard has such awesome skills!
Just us
Richard brought me purple irises for our anniversary- I had purple and white in my wedding bouquet- We went to dinner at 5th St. Steakhouse, which is soooo good! I bought myself a new dress as an anniversary present, and Richard bought himself some beehives (don't ask-seriously!) Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for watching the kids so we could have a night out!

Our engagment picture (except out announcements where in sepia and it looked much cooler)
We were married in the Oakland Temple-

I am so grateful for Richard! There are so many reasons why I love him-his strong testimony, his desire to serve and help others, his ability to make me laugh when I really don't want to, and because he loves me! oh, and according to him- I married him for his sweet skills (more on that later!)
