Surgery

On Wednesday I finally had my knee surgery. The meniscus was repaired and the knee joint was just plain cleaned up. I went in the operating room at 1:00 pm and was home by 4:00 pm. Amazing!!!! I had no pain (well maybe just a little) on Wed. and Thurs. Thinking to myself. "Isn't this wonderful. I will be up and back to normal in no time." NO SUCH LUCK!!!!! Woke up at 2 in the morning and thought I was going to die. From yesterday no pain and walking to pain and down in bed. UGH!!!! Oh well, it looks like I will survive no matter what. Sam has been so good. He is at my beck and call. Thank goodness he is here with me. Will keep an update on how things are going.

Sam has this habit of falling asleep while he is sitting. He does it all the time.

It even looks worse now. To top it off......Sam had a small procedure on one of his BIG TOES andhe needs to stay off his feet for the weekend.

Crash and Burn

Today, as I was at work, Sam gave me a call and said he was going to have Tracy come pick him up so he could help him with a printer. About 5 minutes later he called and told me he was going to walk down to Tracy's with Meeka. Then...........10 minutes later he called me and informed me that as he was crossing Holladay Blvd. at 1800 E., Meekas leash got tangled up in his feet and he had fallen face first into the middle of the street. An old women was driving toward him and honked at him as he was lying face down in the street. Some very nice people came out of their house and helped him out. I called Tracy to go and get him and when I arrived at Tracy's house there was Sam on the couch with an icepack on his face. He tood the icepack off and WHAT A SHINER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He also jammed one of his fingers and it to is black and blue. Took some pictures and will post them very soon.
