Fun Day

Today I spent the day with Angie, Noah, Leah and of course Sam!! We went over to Grandpa and Grandma Greats house and guess who was there.......Lexie!!!! How much fun. Noah just loves playing with Grandpa Great and I am sure he feels the same way. So much fun looking at Lexie and Leah. Just 5 day apart. They are so different. Miss Loudness, Leah and Miss Please Don't be so Loud, Lexie. Leah scared Lexie with her bosterous voice. She is very out spoken to say the least. Lexie just sat and wasn't quite sure what was going on with Leah. She was very quiet and sweet. I must say that both of them are very, very cute little girls. Angie and Britt you have done well. We went to Costco and then ordered pizza at Robintino's. Took Noah in to pick up the order and he was just mesmerized watching the pizza cook in the big, round, see through oven. He wouldn't let me put him down. When they took the pizza out of the oven he said "Noah's pizza?" It is amazing what kids find fasinating. Came home and ate and just had a nice visit. Love my little family to bits. So much fun being a Grandma!!!!!!!!!!!

Fun Times

Here are a few pics from the Vegas trip. Karli and Jana went on a TERRIFYING ride at the Stratesphere. We also went to the Garden at the Mirage and saw Dolphins and Tigers. Was a fun trip!!!!

Lake Powell

How is is possible to go so long and not blog????

The last time I wrote on this blog was sooooooooooooooooooooooo long ago. I have been to Bear Lake with Angie, Doug and the kids, Karin, Curtis, Jana and their families. Lake Powell was also on the agenda. We (Sam, Angie, her kids and our friends the Martins and some of their family, also..... my dear son-in-law Doug tagged along but could only stay for 4 days. The rest of us stayed for 9 days. The Martins have a beautiful new houseboat that they time share. We all took the houseboat "Totally Hooked" to Moki Canyon at Lake Powell and parked it on the beach. The younger kids went wake boarding and us older folks went sight seeing and just hung out. Every one had a wonderful time. Here are some pics.

Oh My Heck!!!

I am about as lazy as lazy can be. I have not blogged for sooooooooooooooooo long. Not that I don't have much to say, but, I AM LAZY. The apricot tree did end up producing and exceptional quantity of apricots. Sounds pretty neat huh. Well...... started picking them and they ALL HAD WORMS. What a waste and a big fat mess!!!!! Time to cut the damn things down an plant something that is pretty and not messy!! Angie and her cute family are doing very well and I have been able to see them on quite a few ocassions. Love to watch my cute grandkids. Couldn't be luckier to have 2 beautiful healthy grandkids, a beautiful and wonderful daughter, and I must say, a fun, enjoyable and just plain great son-in law. Sam is having fun on Ebay and selling computers and such. Meeka, Macey and Luna are the best little animals in my world. I am enjoying life and my cute family. Will try to keep up!!!

Miss Meeka went to the groomers the other day and had her hair done. She looks and smells WONDERFUL!!!!!!! Dawn, our trainer-groomer, said she behaved very well and she enjoyed working on her. You may not see a lot of difference but, believe me, there is quite a difference.

I am once again a Grandma!!! Now there are two beautiful Grandchildren in my life. Leah was born on March 21, 2008 at 7:30 P.M. She is 8 lbs and 18 1/2 inches long and an beauty beyond words. The day she was born I spent the day with Noah. We had such a fun time together. Mom (Angie) called us at 8:00 P.M. and Noah and I rushed to the hospital to see the newest addition to our family. My sweet daughter is doing so well and her sweet daughter is also doing wonderfully. Sam and I are looking forward to being a part of little Leah's life and watching her grow and change. How Lucky am I to have such a Great Family!!! Here are some cute pics.

Well........................My baby is just about ready to have her 2nd baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am very excited. Probably within the new 3 weeks I will have 2 Grandbabies!!!! WHEN WILL IT HAPPEN!!! I DON'T KNOW BUT I CAN'T WAIT!!

February

February, Ahh, the GREAT MONTH!!!! Sam just turned 58 which means on my Birthday I will be 56. It is hard for me to believe. I don't feel 56 only 54.....LOL. The big deal is my Dad. On February 21 he will be 80 years old. Since October he has been through quite an ordeal. The chemo is behind him, the radiation is behind him the surgery is behind him and now he can look towards the future clean of cancer. He had lost his voice because during the surgery, a nerve was nicked. Now, finally, after 2 1/2 months of hoarseness his voice is back. Even if he doesn't believe it, I absolutely know he is on the road to recovery. Angie is due in about 5 weeks with Baby Girl Smith. How exciting is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Noah is going to be a Big Bro soon. The best ever I am sure of it. Well, that's it for now. Life Goes On!!!!!

I am still here!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am still here. Here is a slide show that shows some of the things that have been going on in my life. Angie is due with Baby Girl Smith in just 2 months. How time flies. Noah is growing up so fast. He is starting to talk and is going to be a great big bro. Sam finished the driveway (a huge job). Doug just turned 29 years young. I am doing just great. Life goes on!!!!!!

Tile is finally laid!

When we tiled the family room we also got some tile for the wash room. THAT WAS 2 YEARS AGO. FINALLY..we hired Don (who did our kitchen) to lay the tile. It looks just beautiful and I almost don't want to use that room for washing. It is just too pretty now. Could just sit and look at my wash room and admire the beauty. LOL Slow but surely everything is coming together in the house. Sam is doing a GREAT JOB of coordinating every little thing. Meeka is keeping us both busy with training. I will be glad to return to puppy class to get us and her back on track!!!! She is so cute and really brings a lot of lively moments to this humble abode!!!!!

Happy New Year!!!!

Hope everyone had a Great Holiday Season. A HAPPY NEW YEARS TO ALL!!!! I actually slept through the whole thing yet again. Don't remember when I actually celebrated and brought the New Year in. Where did 2007 go? It was quite an eventful year. Dad had his surgery and has progressed very well. A new addition was added to our family-Meeka. She is a Border Terrier and quite the roughian!!! She has brought alot of fun into our lives. We found out that we are going to become Grandparents again. To a little girl. Can't wait to welcome Baby Girl Smith into our little but growing family. Noah will be a great Big Brother!!!!!!! Angie is feeling much better and excited to bring a new addition into the Smith clan. Looking forward to see what 2008 will bring us all. I do know it will bring me a new Grandbaby-Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Who knows what else the new year will bring. Love to you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
