What happened to June... CA first

Well lets see May 31 we went to Bryce's preschool program and June 1st we drove out of Klamath Falls, Oregon. We loved out time there and would've been okay if it was actually a longer requal course for Brian...so here we go...June 1 we drove to San Jose, CA bc Brian is still an AF1 agent and Obama had a trip so we all went. We were upgraded to the Presidential Suite at the Double Tree which made the week even more AMAZING :) We spent a day in San Francisco and Santa Cruz...the week enjoying the pool and San Jose and went out and met Obama who shook Brennen's hands and commented about his hat :) Then June 8 we started the 2254 mile drive back to Evansville, IN to say good bye to my family before we left for Japan. We spent a few days with family and running around to get our last shipment together, put my car up for sale and it actually sold, rented a car to drive to Pittsburgh (Brian hadn't seen his family in a year) Spent a week with his family and then off to Hawaii for a good rest before showing up in Okinawa on June 27th which because we missed our connection in Tokyo ended up being the night of the 28th...there are plenty of stories from Japan but lets get through June first....
Good Bye Klamath Falls, thanks for an amazing 11wks

Mt. Shasta

Hello Presidential Suite and San Jose

Before Brian had to start his TDY we spent the day in San Fran a little windy and much cooler than San Jose just 45 min away

Who knew chasing the birds could be so much fun
My Sweet very active Bryce
Bryce was not a fan of the smell and was very concerned with eating dinner down here bc of the Fish smell...he devoured his clam chowder in a bread bowl without any problem though
Cable Car time and what it is only 9pm at night and the boys are still going strong...this older gentleman might not be as excited as Brennen is about him...

Bryce got to ring the bell at the end of the line

Pool time at the hotel in San Jose

Lucky for us Brennen loves the water and was willing to take his morning nap at the pool in his stroller
Boston and Bryce waiting for AF1
There it is...
Okay here is Obama talking to Brennen...unfort Brian was working so he couldn't take any pictures and I was busy holding the heavy little man...you can see the tip of his little blue hat

Obama on his way

Sarrah and Jazz feeding Brennen

We tried for some family pictures in front of AF1 but sleepy hungry boys made it kind of hard
The Joseph William's Family
Brennen gave in and was resting....

 A Day in Santa Cruz

Lots of fun at the beach, Bryce was a little shocked when he fell in at how cold it really was. But it didn't stop him from playing hard :)

Brennen on the other hand thought it was a little cold and eating sand or throwing it was much better

Yeah baby we had fun in CA....now for the 2245 mile drive to see my Gaga and then off to see the rest of the family in Pitt

The Oregon Coast for Memorial Day Weekend

Driving over to the coast was really pretty we went over on some county rd that just opened after being closed for the winter

A little cold compared to the beaches we are use to but still fun to build sand castles and explore

The sand was nice and wet kind of like dirt...so it was great when Bren was tired and he just threw his face down into the sand pile before he passed out in the stroller

Castle Building

On Saturday morning we went on a jet boat 104 miles round trip up the Rogue River. It was beautiful and the videos caught more fun than the camera...we did see sea lions, otters, lots of birds, bald eagles, and a momma bear and her two cubs

Sunday we drove along the coast into California for more adventures

We did some hiking and checked out some natural bridges on our way to the Redwoods

Bryce with this guys at the Trees of Mystery

A little tight but hey it's a rental

The Redwoods State park was awesome, we were just sorry that night was creeping upon us. With all the climbing and hiking we could have spent more time here. We did make the trail around the park though

Pictures don't do it justice

Check out that root system pretty small hmm

Our last week in Oregon and we are going to miss it, the trip has been great! We leave on Saturday morning...Bryce has a preschool performance and gets to say good bye to all of his friends, but he is sad that he won't be able to have his friends at his birthday party. Good bye's always suck, but what great memories we have.

Oregon 2

Back to Crater Lake this time with snow shoes

Although it was really windy and a little too slushy...IE lots of falling from a certain 4 yr old lead to not such a great day, but still very pretty ;)

Race day and this is Niesha...they are going to miss each other (preschool buddies)

These were all the preschool buddies that ran the race

Bryce with his girls Niesha and Adalie

Building a bird house with Daddy after the race
Brennen had more fun just chewing on Mommy's water bottle

The boys play in boxes A LOT lets hope this doesn't get boring any time soon..since we have 10 different deliveries that will happen once we get to Japan.

Yup that is right Daddy turned 40 :) and we love him even more as an old man...

This Monument had about 20 caves to explore.

Decked out in his caving gear and he LOVED it after being scared in the first one he wanted to hit them all.

Down into the first cave

Brennen even like them

They had two tunnels to choose from and one to crawl back up

Into Skull cave

Side walk chalk has been lots of fun as of late...a very colorful sunshine
