HERE I AM!!!
Sooo... Um0, Summer Hit, and that is my excuse! (is that good enough??)... Really though, we have been super busy with fun stuff lately! Here are just a few of the adventures we have had this summer!! ENJOY!!
Brenley celebrated her 2nd Birthday!
We took a family trip to the zoo!!
Larry and I were able to get away with some friends to San Rafael Swell! One crazy windy night+a broken tent+a out of control husband made for a sweet non sleepful night! But what a memory we will all have!
Enjoying the beautiful sun..... the night after the wind!!
After the episode with the tent we decided to invest in a better tent... which had already paid off with our 3 camping trips and more to come (yes.. I said tent, which means yes, we sold the trailer:( really though, we are just fine without it and are enjoying the ruggedness of a tent!)

-Just a thought-
I ran across this quote today.. and totally agreed with it- so... I thought I'd share:) Happy Wednesday everyone!!
"No one told me that once I became a mother everything else in life I'd ever do would be insignificant in comparison.
No one told me that I'd never want these days to end."

Oh how I love her!!
I am sitting here tonight- in tears thinking of how much I love my sweet little daughter! She is my happiness and makes me such a better person... Some days I wonder what I am going to do with this wild little girl or as her nursery teacher says "Brenley is our little ball of energy!" But I know that she was sent to our family for a reason, and I am lucky enough to get a glimps into her world and her special personality! I enjoy being able to spend every day with her playing dolls, horses, dogs, calling grandmas on the phone, and reading a lot of books- I wouldn't change these special moments right now for anything! It scares the crap out of me that I somehow have been trusted to raise this girl up and teach her all she needs to know- heck I don't know if we will ever get sharing down, or screaming the word NO to everyone, or hitting our cousins.... But for right now I hope she knows just how much her mommy loves her! Almost 2 years down and many more years to come!! Wow where has the time gone??

SURPRISE!!
On January 8th my Hot hubby turned 25! I had seen an idea over a year ago to do an "outdoorsman" themed Birthday party and had been soo excited to put it together for him for his 25th birthday. He had informed me a couple of times that he has never had a surprise birthday party sooo... A Suprise it was!!! When the night finally came to pull off the Big Suprise I was so nervous he was going to figure something out. He thought the "plan" was that we were going to go and drop Brenley off at his Parents house at seven, and then we were going to meet some friends at chili's... but really what he didn't know was that the our friends were going to be at his parents house- along with a whole lot of other people!!...Well I was dying because by about six o'clock he was ready to roll!! Yikes- I had to stall for another hour because all the guests were going to be arriving and it wouldn't be much of a suprise if we were already there- After an hour of stalling my hubby was getting a bit bothered, wondering why I was taking sooo Long to get ready when I am usually the one that likes to be early??! I was dying, trying to make up any excuse why I wasn't ready yet! - Well, when we finally arrived at his parents house all the guest did an amazing job at hiding there car's so he had NO IDEA what was to come inside!! he he he !! we went in and headed downstairs were his parents said they were... and then.. here it comes... 1.2.3. *SUPRISE*!!!!!!!!!!!! It was sooo awesome- all of the guests were dressed in their best Ourdoorsman get-up and suprised the crap out of him!!! It was perfect! He was so suprised and confused as to why all of our friends and family were downstairs dressed in camo??
The party was a blast! I know Larry had such a good time- It was so fun to see all of our friends, from different parts of our life, come together with our family to celebrate Larry's Birthday- Larry is such an amazing person and liked by so many people. I feel so lucky to be his Wife!! Thank you to all of our friends and Family who came to support Larry!!
Here are a few pictures of our wild Crazy night!! I didn't get as many pic's as I liked- but, I will post more when I get the ones from Larry's parents camera- they show the suprised look on Larry's face when he first came down the stairs! (in fact, I just realized that I don't have any pictures of the Birthday boy on my camera.. oops!)

ChRisTmAs ReCaP!!
This Christmas Season has been so good! We were so excited to be able to have christmas in out new house... but after decorating, I realized that a bigger house means more Christmas decorations! I thought that I had a lot of decorations and once I got them all out I realized that my poor house still was empty! (I guess I had better be hitting those after christmas clearance sells!!) Here are just a few pictures of our exciting December!! EnJoY!! We made an annual trip to Temple Square with my family- but after arriving, we realized that we had left the bag that we had packed all of Brenley's warm clothes in at home!! AHHH it was freezing too- so we made due- Brenley wore my hat, and we wrapped the rest of her up in my scarf, and used an extra pair of socks for gloves!
For our ward party they asked us to dress up as the times of Christ- so here is our little "Biblical Family"
My dad was Santa Clause for his ward pary breakfast so Brenley and I ventured out to see him- Grandma had to sit with her because she wanted nothing to do with Santa! (Yes, I am aware my daughter has only one shoe on... we were running way late and I was worried we were going to miss Santa- so after she took her shoe off in the car- I decided to forget about it and just run into the building!!??
Wahoo for snow!! We decided to get out and build a family snow man!! Well, it didn't quit go as planned cause we were a day too late and the snow had become ice instead! We still had fun though, and Brenley loved eating the snow! Dad made her this big ice ball to munch on! Yum!
SAY CHEESE!! Here is our family portrait in our Christmas P.J.'s- We are all supportin the "UTES" with our attire this year!
Good Morning!! Here is the fam. on Christmas morning! Santa was too good to us!...Brenley wasn't sure what was going on! All month she has been getting in trouble for trying to open presents and all the sudden its ok?? what the heck mom!!- She was cute and by the end of the day, she knew exactly what to do with those presents!!
Christmas day we started off the morning at the Keeles- This year it was pretty special because Larry's Brother Mitch and his wife Brandi were here to spend Christmas with us!- After a yummy Breakfast we headed off to the Crooks to spend the afternoon partying- then headed back to the Keeles that night for a little bit of Rock Band!!
We had a fun Christmas and always feel so lucky that both of our families live so close so we can share it with them!!
