Apparently, my blog's been hacked. I didn't post those silly links in the previous two posts!! Sheesh! Damn hackers. ><

It's been a while (again!) and work's getting completely crazy. The massive wave of overwhelm came crashing with no warning. BUT I pulled myself together and tackled it straight on. Yeah!! =p
It's one of those weekends where I have no plans and can have the weekend to myself to r&r at home. I love how I am able to just stay home and do the things I like to do. Have my meals while watching my shows, taking my time with packing and tidying here and there... Eyes feel droopy? Just head on up and take a nap on Mum's bed.. This IS the life man! Couldn't ask for more after a tiring week of work.
Choir's gonna start officially next week and I'm still in two minds about it. Looks like practice is gonna be once a week, every week. I'm starting to doubt if I'm able to commit. Weekends have become so precious to me that I cannot imagine putting a day away every week for this. If it was in the morning or early afternoon, I'm still ok. But now it's taken over a timing that is neither here nor there and that bugs me. It REALLY bugs me cos my entire day is gone. Haii.. Should I or should I not?

Oops, been too long eh? June's over and it's already July!
I have another half of May to blog about but... It's kinda considered stale news by now. Memories of those events will forever remain though. Maybe when I feel like it and I have the time to sit in front of my laptop, I might actually type out the happenings in May out.
Nothing much has been going on. Feeling a little numb from the routine we call work and no exciting after-work program to look forward to.
Went for HJ's Founder's Day today. It's Founder's Day cum Awards Ceremony lah. Yeah, that smart ass received an award (again!) called 2009 GCE 'A' Level Excellence Award. They are given to students who have done well at the 'A' Levels. Erm duh! Yup, that smart ass got another award. First was her 'O' Levels and now, her 'A' Levels.
Congratulations again, HJ!
Going to HJ's school reminded me of my times in SCGS. I really miss attending these important events in school. How you will be able to feel the overwhelming sense of belonging to the school, how every student, past, present and future, was feeling the exact same emotion at the exact same time - pride. The camaraderie between the students and the teaching staff. I loved my times in SCGS and I truly darn miss it. I miss being able to be a part of special occasions, I miss being able to stand with fellow schoolmates and scream/cheer when we hear of the achievements our school has made. Heck, I even miss singing the school song!
*sigh* Those were the times... I really miss SCGS. Even going back now will not be the same anymore. That feeling of belonging is on a different level. BUT I still love SCGS. I still love the 10 whole years I spent in nothing but a blue pinafore. Oh, and not forgetting the additional privileges the white bolero brought for me. =p

It's been a whirlwind month of May of far. Every Saturday in May has been booked for an activity or an event. I even went on a short trip to KL!
1st May - Chicago! Went to watch Chicago with the biatches. All That Jazz reminded me of the musical we put up that year. It was so much fun! Chicago was very different compared to what I was expecting. With the lack of props, I somehow could not feel the cabaret feeling that much. As a friend said to me, this is one musical that could have gone crazy with props and costumes but everything remained kinda subdued. Practically no props, only chairs and the cane. Not much of a costume change either. Guess they placed the focus on their singing and acting.
The vocal abilities of these broadway performers are amazing. The acting as well. From the opening act to curtains down, everything went smoothly and perfectly. Impressed at how they do it. Yeah, I know they do it every day and night but sometimes, when the focus is not there, it just falls apart! They have really strong minds to hold their focus on doing something that they do everyday!
8th May - ONE Concert and Mothers' Day Dinner
The concert used a very interesting concept. Imagine the audience sitting facing each other and the singers surrounding you, pretty cool eh? Hee! It was fun seeing some close friends standing around singing. I could even recognise who they were just by listening to their voices!! Haha!! Yup, you guys stood out man. =p
Mothers' Day Dinner was at Ah Yee's place. Just the normal gathering of families accompanied with catered food for dinner. Yummilicious!! The cake was the focus man. Durian cake leh!! My gawd, I almost died from suffocation. The ENTIRE house was filled with the durian aroma. (Notice I use the word aroma and not smell) Why? Cos I can take the smell but I just can't eat it. Besides, I'm not suppose to anyways. =p
9th May - Wedding Games Meeting
Exciting but tiring day man. Mentally tired... Imagine having to think of games to tekan the groom and brothers with and at the same time, deal with the constraint of time... We came up with some pretty cool ideas. That was fun... =p
10th May - Solemnization Rehearsal
I go and kaypoh one. I'm not playing a significant role during the Solemnization but I decided to go down for the rehearsal anyways. Hee. Just so I won't be blur on the actual day. Didn't do much. Got to know some of the brothers that we were gonna tekan. That's all! Oh! Was standing around, ready to jump if anybody needed help and realised J lost weight. She must have been stressed out by the wedding. Poor girl.
Ok, I'm gonna continue the other activities/events in another post. Tired of typing =p
