Family Catch-Up

We decided we were going to post about once a month. Obviously I seem a little too antsy with 3 posts in .5 days, however, I feel we need to do a few initial catch up posts to let everyone (I don't think anyone, besides myself, is actually reading our posts yet, nor do I think many will) know what is happening in our lives as we start this blogging junk. Please skip over if it gets too boring. This blog is 1/10 to let everybody know what is going on, and 9/10 a family journal entry.

Lindsay, Mari and I are still living up in Utah. I am still employed as a sales rep for a event furniture manufacturer and am concentrated on Northern California/Oregon projects . I enjoy the work very much and have been very happy with how great a company it is to work for.

Mari is now two!!, and is just starting to learn that she can lick her fingers and wipe off my kisses on her cheek! It kills me as she slowly and deliberately acts this out, and makes sure I watch her do it. Other new discovery: Wearing sunglasses to bed is cool. She is very excited for her soon-to-be baby sister. No name yet; still working on it.

Lindsay is due the end of February. We're starting to load up again on the essentials and are starting to get the room ready. Lindsay is enjoying staying at home and is excited/anxious about #2. I'm not as nervous, seeing what a great job she has done with Mari.

So that about wraps up our brief update. I just learned this morning that Google video has FREE and unlimited video uploads at http://video.google.com/ (at least for now). You can set to private so that your videos aren't listed in search results. Anyhow, I thought this would be a good way to upload videos of our family and link them to this blog for free.

Thanksgiving '06 San Diego Pics

So what if it has only taken me less than an hour to post again? This merely is to show pics of our recent Thanksgiving '06 outing to San Diego.

Maiden Post

Well, here it is; our jump into the world of blogging. Through the years "blogging" has come up so much, yet I never got it. I write this exactly as Lindsay in the other room says "I don't really understand what a blog is". . . there you go. Thanks to our friends the Dulgarians http://dulgarian.blogspot.com/ for sending us their link tonight, and to our friends at Google who enabled me to sign up and start writing this approximately 3 minutes after reading the Dulgarian's blog. Now I get it . . . this stuff is easy!! I hated trying to update our webpage (I can't even get into it anymore. Thanks Geocities!). Well, you'll be hearing a lot more from us down the road. I have a feeling this will last a while.
