Happy Birthday Mel!

Hi Everyone!

Just want to share the sweet Birthday Card I made for my daughter Melanie.  I know she is an adult but at times I still see her as a teenager.

To me she will always be "Pretty in Pink" and sweet 16!.  The inspiration for my card of course is one of Krista's awesome digis and the movies, Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles!

Everything I used for my Tri Shutter card came from my stash.  You can find some wonderful tutorials on You Tube and Splitcoast Stampers.

I am entering my my card into Saturated Canary Challenge Inspired by a Movie.  By the way Mel loved her card!  Thanks Trista for making such gorgalicious images!!!!!

"Anything Goes" Booklets

Hi Everyone!

It's time for our new challenge at Simply Create Too. Our theme this time is an easy one.  What can be easier than "Anything Goes"!

I decided to alter a few of my must have booklets.  Staying on track with my new goals for this year everything came from my stash.

I must confess that I went a little crazy over the holidays and my blood sugar went wacky!  Needless to say I am no longer in denial.  I have to admit that I am truly a Type 2 Diabetic, who does not want to give herself insulin injections!

It really was an eye opener.  I have to keep track of my carb intake and prick myself twice a day..  yeah ouch!  Naturally I had to craftify my log book and "Eat out Guide"..lol

It is truly a happy day when I can treat myself to a fast food burger and 1 or maybe 2 fries.    I can really say that pricking myself is not, I repeat not one of my favorite things...lol

At least now my altered books give me a little chuckle and are much nicer to look at.

"Let it Snow"

Hi Everyone!

It's time for our new challenge at Simply Create Too.  Our theme for the next two weeks is  "Let it Snow".

I made these cute little mini albums for my crafty friends.  Everything I used came from my endless stash supply.

Each mini was made from a single 12 x 12 piece of paper.  CeeCee made a great tutorial on YouTube here.  They were really super simple to make and turned out so darn cute!

I used all my favorite tools, my cuttlebug some MS punches, Nesties and some embossing folders.  My resolution this year is to try and use only my stash when I create.

I am hoping to put a giant dent or maybe deplete my supplies so I can make room and actually see what I have.

Stashy Christmas

Hi Everyone!

This is one of the batches of Pillow Boxes I made for my clients.  Everything I used came from my stash.  They were loads of fun to make.  What a relief to find out that I can still color within the lines, well mostly that is.

I must say that my little thrift shop stamp is too cute!  Wonder if my clients will notice that I have used this stamp before..lol

I filled them each with a Christmas ornament.  One of my crafty friends and a client told me she closed the pillow box back up and hung it from her tree too!  Sandra you are just so clever..

I made this little "Let it Snow" meander mini for someone special.  I followed Vianney's tutorial as it has a bit of a twist.  You can find it here.

Boy oh boy didn't realize how much I've missed my little Cuttlebug!  My arm did get a good workout with these projects..lol  Everything used came from my stash.

Ornaments

Hi Everyone!

It's seems like forever since my last post...well I guess it has been!   The Holiday's are always so festive and filled with creativity.  What a great time of the year to get back into the swing of crafting.

My blogging skills are a little stale, so forgive me any mistakes and be gentle with me..guess my crafting skills are a little stale too.

I made these 2 ornaments for my tree.  A big thanks to Gail for providing all the goodies to make the gorgeous Fleur de Lis Ornament!  You can find a wonderful tutorial by Becca of Amazing Paper Grace here.

My second ornament is from Stamping Up.  A big thank you to Sandra for providing all the materials!  You can find them here at Sandra's SU store in the Holiday Catalog.  You can find a great tutorial by Angie of My Chick'n  Scratch here.
