Celebrate Summer Book Mark

I made this bookmark for Kona Kid Krafter's " Summer" Challenge 3.  Pink Cat Studio is our sponsor, they have some really cute stamps!  As a DT we get to pick what images we want to use for our projects.  I picked the cute Lady Bug Flower Tower.  I decided to make it into a bookmark, the image is just perfect for it.  My mother was here when I was making it.  She thought it was soo cute and hinted that she could really use a bookmark.  Yeah she took it home with her before the ink dried...LOL.  This little creation took less than 30 minutes to create.  That included using the cricut to cut out the tag!  It is pretty basic.  It was a lot of fun to make and turned out really cute.  I am posting both mine and Maddies before the challenge...I have no choice..I hate being rushed, I cut it a liitle close last time.  Better to be early than late..hehehe.  I entered this little quickie into the following challenges:

Here's what I used to create my little, oops my mother's little bookmark:
    • Ladybug Flower Tower Digi/Pink Cat Studio
    • Cricut, Gypsy, Bags Tags cart to cut out tag

    • Ribbon

Happy Day Flower Wall Hanging

I made this Happy Day Flower Wall hanging from a plaque I bought at an Estate Sale and revamping a card that I just started last week at our last crop.   Stacia showed us how to make all these different cool flowers and 4 different cards.  I decided to change the card into a wall hanging.  I kept all the details the same except for the card base.  Stacia was kind enough to supply all the materials too!   The only thing I used that was mine and part of my stash was my happy day stamp, funky scissors, eyelets, brads and the plaque I got at our coast weekend crop.  I really like the way it all turned out.  The flowers are better showcased on the wall hanging and can be enjoyed all the time.  I entered my creation into the following challenges:

Everthing except the plaque, happy day stamp, eyelets, and brads were provided by Stacia, so new supplies to me..Thanks Stacia.  Heres what was used to create this project:
  • Scallop punches to cut out flowers
  • Stamins, toothpics
  • DP & Cardstock
  • Nestabilities
  • Funky scissors

Aloha Card

I made this Aloha card because I am getting antsy for a vacation and some sunshine!  These 2 Sassy Studio images just make me warm and fuzzy all over.  Who wouldn't love to be a beach bum somewhere in the tropic's.  Think I will keep this one for a bit and stare at it when the weather is gloomy.  Will probably give it to my friend who will be going back to Kona soon.  My youngest granddaughter Kaylene thinks it's beautiful.  I had to really keep an eye on her, she wanted to touch the Stickles before they dried..LOL  She couldn't sleep so she stayed up while I finished my card.  The little horde (3 of my grandkids) just got picked up that's why my post is so late.  I had Nana duty...hehehe  Better get to it.  I entered this card into the following challenges:

Everything came from my stash except the Digi's, they are slightly newer.  Here's what I used to create my card:

For the Bride and Groom/Happy Wedding Day Card

It amazes me how a color I normally do not like can look so good on a completed card!  Blue is not one of my fav's.  I made this card for a good friend who is getting married next week.  Her new hubby to be doesn't seem the type to like a girly girl card so  that's why I used  the color blue as the main color.  I know, I just couldn't help blinging it up just a bit...lol  The matching envelope  may not be to his taste but the card should pass.  I am hoping they will both like it.  My DH still say's I can't ask for it back if they don't...ROFL  The cuter my cards turn out the harder it is to actually give them away...and OMGosh I gotta let them go...  Who would have thought that I would come to appreciate the color blue.  Anyway's I entered this card into the following challenges:

Everything I used I had in my stash.  It think my DP stash is going to last forever!  I may  have to start decorating all my envelopes just to use it up faster...then I can buy lot's of new stuff..yeah!  Here's what I used to create my card:
  • Cuttlebug and  Valentine embossing  folder
  • Greeting Farm Digi Stamps ( Aren't they soo cute!)
  • SU Happy Wedding Day stamp
  • For the Bride & Groom stamp/yard sale find!
  • Copic's and Sakura Gel Pens
  • Martha Stewart Heart Corner Punch
  • Blue brad
  • 2 bling gem butterflies and various color bling gem flowers/all from dollar store
  • Marvy Scallop punch to make multi-layered flower on envelope

  • Envelope another yard sale find
  • Ink
