Newborn Baby Boy Mini Album

Finally finished my Newborn Baby Boy Mini Album.  I made this for a client, but it seems my daughter wants it to give to a friend who is having a baby boy.  I need to make several more Baby Boy & Baby Girl Minis.  It seems many of my clients and family friends are having spring deliveries...lol  It's a good thing I have plenty of toity rolls and cereal boxes in my stash to make lots more.  So much to do and so little time!  Sometimes I wish crafting could be my full time job and pay well too!  I entered this little mini into the following challenges:

Easter Station Cards

I made these Easter cards for all the girls at the salon.  I used 4 different digi stamps and made each one unique with the coloring.  3 of them are from Lily-Boo's Boutique-Easter Cuties.  I am not sure where the Bunny Tower is from, it was a free digi stamp and I forgot to label the file.  Found  it, it's a Bugaboo Digi. They are pretty simple little cards to make.  Simple, quick and easy but still soo cute....lol  I do believe that even simple cards can be made special with the very easy technique of EMBOSSING.  Every card that I make always has some embossing on it somewhere.  My little Cuttlebug makes it so easy to do.  It's amazing what you can do to the embossing afterward, distress it, ink it, chalk it, sand it, there are endless possibilites.  I even paper pieced it on my Somebunny Loves Me Card.  Needless to say embossing is my favorite technique.  I entered the lot of them into the following challenges:

Corrosive Challenge Easter or Spring
Fab 'n' Funky Challenge It's all in the technique
Paper Play Challenges Week 12 Easter
Papertake Weekly Challenge Open Theme, Easter
Pile it On Challenge #12 Animal-Riffic
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge  Challenge 52 Flower Power!

Everything used came from my stash, my creation list is short and sweet:

Lily Boo's Digital Stamps-Easter Cuties.  Bunny Tower-Bugaboo Stamp
Watercolor pencils
Cuttlebug and several Embossing folders
Happy Easter computer generated
Flower's and eggs from Dollar Store

Thank's for looking, comments appreciated.

Happy Easter Spring- Up Card

I was planning on making 10 of these spring- up cards for my co-workers to put at their stations.  I do not think they will hold up with all the activity in a salon, not to mention the wind of all the blow dryer's..lol.  This one may just sit on my massage room vanity.  I even reinforced the bottom with cardboard from a waffle box.  It is still top heavy and can still flip back if a hair dryer hits it.  I have distributed the weight just right so it won't sag down.  I wanted to do a lot more to the card but just don't have the time to fiddle with physics today...

One of the challenges asked what we would want to be if we could fly.  That became the inspiration for my card.  I have allergies and I would love nothing more than to enjoy the outdoors and all the wonderful smells of spring.  Little Bee Tilda fits the bill, besides she is just a little cutie!  I am entering this card into the following:

Here's what I used to create this card.  Everything from my stash:
  • Cricut & Gypsy, Mini Monograms to cut out circle.  Computer generated Happy Easter.
  • Doodled the hearts on Circle and filled in with Stickles
  • Just Magnolia, Tilda Bee Stamp
  • Martha Stewart Scallop page edger
  • Prima Flowers (pearl & faux diamonds from broken play necklace)
  • Cuttlebug & embossing folder
  • Faux stitching with Sakura Pens
  • Part of empty waffle box
  • Dollar Store Egg Glitter Stickers
  • Metalic & Glaze Sakura Pens
  • Purple, Pink, Blue, Orange & Gold Stickles
Thank's for looking, have a great week...

SomeBunny Love's You Card

Oh my goodness, paper piecing these cute little Magnolia stamps almost made me cry!  The first cut was the hardest.  I have never pieced my stamped images before.  It was fun and a relatively easy process.  I hated having to cut them up.  Next time I will have to ink up just the parts I need to cut out.  This little easel card looks better in person.  I am going to have to invest in a real digital camera that I can master.  Using my cell phone to take my pics isn't doing the cards justice.  My inspiration for this entire card was my new Little Bunny Tilda stamp.  She is just soo stinkin' cute!  I wasn't sure how she would turn out since every bit of her is pieced together.  I think she turned out pretty sweet.  I haven't decided who is getting her yet, I may just keep her for myself....just kidding.  I think my Mom will love her, lavender and pink are two of her favorite colors.  I am entering this little cutie into the following 10 challenges:

Here's what I used from my stash, Bunny Tilda is new:
  • Little Bunny Tilda Magnolia Stamp, stamped on lavender, white, peach and hot pink cardstock.  Cut out and pieced together.  Ran her through my Cuttlebug Swiss Dot's folder before I peiced her face on.  Used SU Markers and colored the dots with pink and lavender.  Applied Diamond stickles to her bow.
  • SU Small Wonder Stamp
  • Lavender & Pink Prima Flowers with a lavender button.
  • Lavender flower Button on computer generated Somebody Loves Me
  • Cuttlebug Swiss Dot's & Plaid?? Embossing Folders
  • Martha Stewart Double Scallop Punch
  • Distressed with purple/lavender ink
  • Cardstock and pattern paper from stash
Appreciate the comments.  Thanks for looking.

Easter/Spring Client Card's

OMG not sure if cricut piecing or coloring is more tiring! Just finished making a bunch of client cards. Coloring them in took forever..hopefully the last will look as good as the first...lol  Needless to say I will not be making more of these.  I will create some Client Goodie Pocket Cards like I made for Valentine's Day.  Those were simple to make and can be filled with candy..Yummy!  The stamps are really cute.  They are digital, and  I am not to sure if I like the way the ink smudges.  Guess I will have to do some research.  I liked the way my St. Patty's Day Invitations turned out so I decided to use a smilar format for these cards.  I didn't realize how long they would take to color.  I am still a lousy colorist and way to slow to make a horde of these.  I am entering these into the following 9 challenges:

Oops almost forgot everything is from my stash with the exception of the stamps they are just a few weeks old.  This is what I used to create my cards.
  • Toilet Paper Rolls
  • Cricut & Gypsy to cut out Tags from Tags Boxes & More Cart
  • Celebrate Stamp from Michael's
  • Corkscrew Scissors
  • Dollar Store Glitter Egg Stickers
  • Lily Boo's Boutique Digi Easter Cuties Stamp Collection
  • SU Marker's
  • Cuttlebug 2 Embossing Folder's, Swiss Dot's & ??
  • Computer to print out Digi's
Thank's for looking..Appreciate the comments and have a great Week!

Edward Boy's Birthday Card

I LoVe LOVE this Edward stamp!  He was my inspiration for this whole card.  I just got him and of course had to use him, he is soo darn cute.  This will go to my grandson, I know my daughter will incorporate this card into his scrapbook...hehehe.  Actually she may steal it, she's the Edward fanatic.  This card came together nicely.  I was kinda sick of green but used it anyway.  One of the challenges called for using your gemstone color.  Since both mine and the birthday boy's are Emerald for May I decided to get out the green's.  Didn't have to worry about face coloring, left it white.  I really need to invest in more SU markers!  This little Cutie fits into 9 Challenges, I know it could be entered into lots more.  I am still afraid and don't want to get booted again...lol.  These are the challenges I entered:

The Edward stamp is  new, everything else came from my stash..(will it ever be used up!).  This is what I used to create my card:
  • Cricut & Gypsy to cut out squares, circle, and balloon's used Mini Monograms, Plantin Schoolbook and Hello Kitty Greetings.  Using my Gypsy I was able to just cut out the balloons, poor Kitty was off the mat..
  • Cricut, SCAL and Gel Pen Holder (created by Amy Chomas) & Mini Gel Pens to print Happy Birthday Dude in Emerald Green Double Feature Font
  • Green Rhinestone's
  • SU Markers
  • Opaque Emerald Green Ribbon
  • Martha Stewart Edger
  • Emerald Green Buttons
  • Thick green thread for balloons with a green brad
  • Distressed edges and Cuttlebug embossing with green stamp pad
  • Cuttlebug and 3 Embossing Folders, Swiss Dot's and??
  • The "Star"  Edward from The Greeting Farm Stamps
I did not reinforce the base of this easel card with chipboard because I think my daughter will scrap it into my grandson's scrapbook ASAP.   Thanks for looking.  Really appreciate the comments.

Birth Card/Mini Album

Made this card for one of my client's.  She is due this spring and having a girl.  I will add her name as soon as she is born..they have picked one already but we all know how baby names change with the wind..lol   I got booted with one of my entries...entered into too many challenges..oops!  So this project will be entered to replace the one that got kicked to the curb.. I will stick with 10 or less.  It is a challenge just to keep up with the challenges.  Not only is this a Birthday Card it is also a little mini album.  I love the way it turned out.  I will be making similar ones for all my friends and client's that are going to have babies.  I will be entering one that I am still working on for a little boy.  They will all be different, I will probably use the stork and baby for all the fronts.  These will be something that I will make in advance and add the names later.  I used cereal boxes to cut them out with my cricut.  I will continue to list the challenges and recipes. I think I will be able to keep better track that way.  I am entering this project into the following challenges.

Here's what I used:

  • Toilet Paper rolls

Little Boy Easter Card/10 Challenges

OMG I have erased this post several times now...yikes!  OK, here we go again.  Thanks to the Cuttlebug Spot going Digi this week I chanced upon my inspiration for this card.  Lily Boo's Boutique has the cutest Digi Stamps!  Needless to say I had to get the Easter Cuties and the Boy Toddler Set's.  This cute little guy came with the Easter Cuties.  I know my coloring is still in it's baby stage, I think it's improving though, at least I hope so..lol  Since I am giving this card to a little boy I wanted to make it an Easel Card, don't all kids love cards they can stand on their dresser's?  I know all my grandkids do!  Lily of the Valley's Challenge 48's Easel Card fit right into my plan.  I used chipboard on the base of my card for strength and to help keep the card from slipping down, afterall it's going to a 4 yr old.  Practical Scrappers Challenge of Chipboard fit right in too.  I know it isn't visible, but a very important piece of the card.  I used Friday Sketchers Sketch #93 for my cards layout.  It also fit's into  Paper Sundaes multi-fold Easter or Spring Card  Challenge.  The Pink Elephant's Challenge of Spring and Stampin B's Design Team Challenge 49 also called for spring or Easter, another perfect fit.  Crafty Creations Challenge 58 and Cricut Cardz Challenge 16 both called for making your own flowers....yippe get to use my Cricut.  Since my pattern paper is full of beautiful butterfly's I also entered it into Charisma Cardz Challenge 10.   Last but oh so great I entered it into Crafty Catz Challenge 23 " For the Boy's".  When I started this card I was hoping to be able to enter it into 5 challenges, had no idea it would fit into so many.  I do believe that 10 will be my limit no matter what.  The blogging and entering it takes a lot of time!

Used a digi stamp from Lily Boo's Boutique Easter Cuties, colored with SU Markers.  Only the stamp is new everything else came from my stash.  Cut out the flower's and the cartoche with my Cricut & Gypsy (Paisley & Sweethearts Carts.  I used butterfly, flower and regular brads.  Ran the red base and flowers thru the Cuttlebug's Swiss Dots and ??? Embossing Folder's.  A 4 x 6 piece of chipboard to reinforce the card base for extra easel support.

Thanks for the comment's

St Patrick's Day Party Invitations/ 5 Challenges

I made these cute little St Patrick's Day Invitations out of toity rolls!  Flattened them out with mega weight overnite, they work great for lots of crafting projects.  It is great to be able to enter cards that you are making anyways into these great challenges..gotta love it!  I made 8 of them and each little Leprechaun has a different outfit.  My little Leprechaun's are supposed to be little mini me's, they all do have my hair and that little sparkle in their eyes.  The Pink Elephant Challenge 57 had the perfect fit "Party Invitations".  Entered it into Just Buggin Challenge- Something Green, I know it is my 2nd entry... these little gems are so GREEN they had to be a part of the challenge too, and besides they allow more than 1 entry. Fit right into Fussy and Fancy Challenge 6-Green. I also entered it into Pixie Dust Challenge 12-Buttons & Flowers  because there are 8 cards with 8 buttons & flowers.  Entry into Paper Cutz Challenge-Anything Goes was hard to resist.

Everything came from my stash.  Used my Cricut and Gypsy for all the cutouts.  Carts used were Paper Doll Dress Up, Tags, Bags, Boxes and More.. and A Child's Year.  Used one of my Punches for the flowers. Used a Michael's Happy St Patricks Day Stamp an Invitation Stamp from a yard sale???. I love my little Cuttlebug embossing folders so had to Swiss Dot the Tags.  Stamped the cute little faces with my Peachy Keen stamp set PK 570. Almost forgot, Silver Stickles and a Gelly Roll Pen.
They look like a chorus line ready to sing and dance!  Thanks for the comments, and yes I am officially now sick of GREEN!

Pooh St Patricks Day Card/9 Challenges

This little card was a lot of fun to make.  I didn't want to make another traditional St. Patrick's Day Card.  Our little bear has the "Luck of the Pooish" he found his honey pot!  We all know Pooh would use his pot of gold for Honey anyday..lol  I seem to be into making cards with dimension at the moment.  Lucky for me Peachy Keen's Challenge 24 has a sketch I could incorporate into a step card.  Of course the cute little sun is stamped with one of their cute little face stamps.  I cut out my Shamrock/clover's with my Cricut so I think that qualifies for entering  the Cricut Cardz Challenge #16.  Just Buggin Challenge 28,  Paper Cutz Challenge 31 and Tuesday Taggers all have a St. Patrick's Day theme.  Creative Card Crew and Cute Card Thursday's Challenge 103 both have a Celebration's theme, and St. Patrick's Day is a day of celebration.   Since Bee's have wings Polka Doodle Week 9 Challenge was met.  Lastly, Cuttlebug Challenge "Be Inspired 74" called for a matching envelope.  OMG that's 9 Challenges!

Everything came from my stash..I used my Cricut and Gypsy for all of the cut outs.  Carts that is used were A Child's Year, Mini Monograms and Pooh and Friends. Embossed the Honey Pot and envelop with my Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots.  Stickles for the honey. A "Happy St Patrick's Day" charm.  The Bee's  are Michael's 3D Foam Sticker's.   Stamped the face of the Sun with one of Peachy Keen's PK-570 paper doll faces.

Thanks for all the comments, they are much appreciated!

Good Luck Card/5 Challenges

This card only took me a few minutes to make, but the planning of it seemed to take forever!  I knew that I wanted to make this card with a little twist to the Mojo Monday Sketch 128 Challenge.  Whatever to do, window card, shadow box...to many options.  I was going crazy and ready to just follow the sketch exactly.  Then I checked out Just Magnolia's Tent Card Tutorial and it all clicked!  I have tent cards  all over the place! I do not make mine the same way but the result is the same.  I used my Cricut and my Gypsy to cut out may cardstock and pattern paper.  I knew that both cutouts would fit perfectly when put together, it also allowed me to enter it into Just Buggin Challenge 27 that calls for using a Card Feature from one of the carts.  Since it turned out 3-D it also fit into Pixie Dust Challenge 11-3D Creation.  I hope it meets the challenge.  Cute Card Thursday Challenge 102's Lucky Green  and Pile it On! challenge #8 Lucky Me, both fit the final card.

I cut out the cardstock, pattern paper and Shamrock using My Cricut and Gypsy.  Added a round circle from Mini Monograms onto Sentimentals plain post card feature.  The Gypsy allowed me to follow Mojo Monday's sketch pattern. Gotta love the "G"! Cut out the Shamrock from A Child's Year cart.  Ran the inner cardstock through my Cuttlebug to emboss it with Swiss Dots.  Used scraps from last project and my overflowing stash! Oh yeah and a stamp from the dollar bin at Michael's.
Thanks for all the comments.
