All To Familiar

This sight is all to familiar at the Koch house. Anyone who know Katelyn, knows she LOVES to bake. Not cook, BAKE. She is a killer on a diet. There is always a nice supply of cookies, cakes, banana bread etc. hanging around the house. She looked into pastry school for college but found them all to expensive and to far away. So she just got a job at a cake shop, decorating cakes. Lucky for us, she also loves the grandkids. She will let them help everytime. This time, Jordan and Halie are helping make banana bread. Isabella is "helping" to. She has her apron on, but thats as far as she made it. Diesel missed the picture because he was forced to go wash up.

This is Katelyn's most recent Masterpiece. She decorated this cake for a Relief Society function for my mom. Its Awesome!

Angel Tree

Mom and Dad wanted to spread a little Christmas cheer. This year they decided to get the whole family into it. We all went to Wal-Mart where all the Grandkids were given their own money to spend on children for the Angel Tree. The kids loved having their own money and loved spending it. We loaded up on gifts then into the car where we delived it to the Angel Tree headquarters. Non of the kids had any problem handing over the presents, they were actually quite proud to be helping. Megan and Halie even got to meet Mark Kobel from channel 2 news. They thought it was AWESOME! Cute girls. Thanks Mom and Dad for a great Christmas outing to help remind us of how much was all have! (I was in charge of Bella and the pictures, so no pictures of us. Oops)

Summer Lovin!

This has been one busy summer. Katelyn has been out of town for most of it. She had girls camp, special needs girls camp, senior trip, 2 trips to lake powell, and youth conference. With the Popes living with us, it gave all the grandkids a great reason to head over just about everyday. Here is what has been going on....

Brooke and Mike ran the SL Half Marathon!
Great Job Guys!!

Katelyn Graduated from High School and
Diesel Graduated from Kindergarten

We took the New Waverunners to the East Canyon Lake for a test run!
Grandpa and Jordan are taking a ride and Katelyn and Dani are enjoying the sun.

Went swimming at the pool with the whole fam.

Jumped on the tramp with the sprinkler.
Thats Jordan in the pink. He couldn't fit into could.
Diesels suit so he used Halies instead.

The kids had sleepovers every chance they could.

We had two extremely fun trips to Lake Powell. Katelyn even learn to waterski off the back of the houseboat! Taylor did too, I just don't have a picture. Brooke was very very close.

We rode tons of motorcycles. Katelyn and Mom rode to the store often. Two girls riding bikes to the Mall, how cool. Nicole and Taylor brought there bikes to every family event, Brooke and Mike came over and borrowed Dads for Sunday drives and the kids loved their turns too!

There was Bouncin off the Walls for Diesel's Birthday, we are thinking we'll rent this out for Grandpa's birthday too. He may have more fun than the kids!

Finally, the Airshow. Look, a big plane is flying by!

Next family party we'll get more pictures of the adults. So they can be part of the blogging fun too!

Hello Again...

Apparently, Katelyn lost the blogging bug. I am working to keep it going. She just got a new computer so maybe that will help. Keep your fingers crossed!

First Time Bloggers!

I never thought that we would get this blog started but look at us now!! I can tell that this is going to be a very fun thing for our family. The 'Koch' part of our family now only consists of three: Mom, Dad, and I, Katelyn (also known as the last one standing). Yes, all five of the other Koch girls have gotten married. Now the "we's" (mom, dad, and Kate) go on motorcycle rides (we need to buy one more and then we can be the three ninjas!), to U games, and watch Christmas movies together. Always busy but always having fun. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Love,
