We had fun having our own little "Eclipse Party". The kids didn't understand a whole lot, but they had fun playing outside.

Birthday's
Hunter and Brayden had their birthday's on the 5th and 6th of this month, we had a few people over and we roasted hot dogs on the fire then had cake (which I made from scratch, yes I am so proud of myself) and ice cream. Then the boys got way too much stuff but loved everything they got. It is still hard for me to believe that they are 1 and 2. I am just amazed that time flies so fast, I remember when I was younger the people who were older than me would always say how time goes by so fast but to me it went about the right speed and sometimes even a little slow. Now that I am older and have little kids everyday seems like I wake up the day speeds by and then its time for bed again. There are moments when I wish I could freeze time, mostly when my kids are doing something so incredibly cute that I want to stay in that moment forever. =) Anyway, this past week Hunter and Brayden had their well checks with their primary doctor and they are both doing good. It might have been something I said or something the Dr. felt but he decided to check the boys lead levels, Hunters was under the 3.3 that they like but Brayden's was 3.4. After the Dr. told me that he said that I shouldn't worry, I don't know about anyone else but when I learn that anything is higher than it should be I worry, and I want to find the cause so I can eliminate it. So far I haven't found what it is that might be causing his high level but I will find out! =)They are going to check his levels again when he goes in for is 15 month appointment. He seems to be doing fine he tries to say words like he should be at his age and he doesn't seem to have any pain or anything but I still worry. Hunter had is check up with the Cardiologist as well and everything was good. The last time he had an echo, which was 9 months ago, his mitral valve was narrow, but this time the Dr. said it had opened up a little bit which is good. He is doing so good he's constantly running around jumping on things, pretty much acting like a normal two year old. On Saturday we went hiking with Kris' family up to Doughnut Falls, Hunter and Madi pretty much walked the whole way up, I carried Brayden, I was so proud of them. I think they had a blast. Yesterday was a wonderful mother's day. Madi made me a key chain in primary and some hand/foot prints in preschool, I loved them she did such a wonderful job, Hunter made me a flower in primary which was wonderful and Kris got me a massage which I can't wait to use. Kris is doing good still working at Zion's which is wonderful and right now we are just enjoying this summer off from school. I'm hoping we go camping a lot but I guess we will have to see. I plan on spending most of the time outside with the kids where they can run around and act like wild animals which they love to do. =)

Disneyland!!
We just got back from a three day weekend at Disneyland. We left Friday after Kris got home from work and stayed at Circus Circus in Las Vegas. I have to say I was not very comfortable sleeping in that hotel. It was old and run down and to me it was disgusting, but it was a place to sleep. On Saturday we went to M and M world, and we saw the fountains at the Belagio. Madi really liked the Excalibur and the Luxor, we didn't get to go on any of the ride they have there but we did go to a hotel that wasn't on the strip called the Silverton that had a massive fish tank it was over 100,000 gallons big and it had saltwater fish, the kids really liked it. The hotel also had a Bass Pro shop in it that was a lot like Cabella's. After all of that we drove the rest of the way to Disneyland. Once we got everything in our room at Paradise Pier, which was 100 times better than Circus Circus, we went to Disneyland and rode all the bugs land rides. I was actually suprised at all the rides that we could all go on. We took Hunter and Brayden on a lot more rides than I was expecting to be able to take them on. I think Hunters favorite ride was the tea cups because we got on it and you couldn't really tell that he was enjoying himself but when it was over he did not want to get off, he just wanted to keep riding it. Madi's favorite ride was the Little Mermaid, she went on that about three times or so. Kris took her on Splash Mountain, I will have to post the pictures he took of the pictures they took from the ride her face says it all!! After the ride was over Madi was like "That was awesome!" and Kris asked her if she wanted to do it again, and she answered NO! =) She is so cute. Madi got her picture taken with a lot of the Princesses, as well as Mickey and Minie. We were also fortunate to go to Huntington Beach which is about 20 or so miles away. The kids had a blast, Madi found a lot of sea shell and Hunter fell in the water many times. It was too cold to swim but we were able to put our feet in the ocean. Then Tuesday we made the long trip home, and for the kids being as young as they are they did great being stuck in the car for 12 hours. I feel so blessed that we were able to give our kids this experience and I hope that we will be able to continue giving them these experiences. I am going to post pictures of our trip right now so I don't forget. =)

What's new with the Fedderson's
I can't believe I haven't written on here since Halloween! Well about two weeks ago Hunter had surgery on his vocal chord, they took the damaged nerve and fused it into a good nerve in his neck. The main goal is just to give his vocal chord some definition, his voice will not be as loud as a normal two year old but it will be louder than it is now. We will not know if it was successful for about 6-12 months, which is fine with me I actually like him having a quiet voice. =) Brayden has been crawling for almost 2 months now and for the past two weeks he has been pulling himself up and cruising around while holding on to the furniture. He can say momma and Dada. Madi is all about weddings these days, she has a friend named Wyatt and almost everyday she says that she is going to marry him, I think its the cutest thing. I feel like I have the best kids ever, but I am a little biased! Kris is still working at Zions thank goodness. Hopefully there will be something available soon so he can get on permanent there so we don't have to have the worry that maybe he wont have a job because it is only a contract right now. I am still home with the kids all day everyday. Except I do go to school every Wednesday night for a Cognitive Psychology class. I love Wednesday nights! =) I have 5 classes left and then I will have my Bachelors, I am planning on graduating the end of spring semester next year. I cannot wait to be done, I feel like I have been going to College for 10 years, oh wait I have =).
