korean cooking makes me hungry

korean cooking,
that's what I am currently addicted to
not that I can cook that well, but just watching this lady cook on youtube already makes my mouth water

She is an Korean currently living in Canada
She is amazing and adorable
she makes cooking look so much easy and no-fuss
many commented that by following her cooking methods, they too were able to create a wonderful korean dish--even if they were terrible cooks before

within the few mins on youtube, she whipped out many lovely traditional korean dishes and it really inspired me to do my own cooking... if only I am not so lazy

i had a bad day

bad....
this week hasn't been going well for me

first i made a terrible mistake at work
then still making mistakes at work
then i've been saying the wrong things to people
then the series drama "the golden path" had such a unpleasant ending
then i realised that i can't have a debt card in singapore because i don't plan to divert much of my finance to a certain bank.
I am utterly embarrassed that i'm not able to speak my dialet which i have grown up with, hearing it for the past 20 years. it's time now that I better master this language.
certainly somethings are becoming bad!!

on the other hand,
i finally managed to remember a elderly patient name, no more hand sign language to retrieve her card :)

I've lost $10K so far,
and more to come...

luckily that's all in virtual money
I can't afford to play around with my finances
but it's really fun to experience how real stock market works since I have minimum knowledge with regards to the business world

have a go at Deutsche Bank Demo foreign exchange market
just download the programme and then get really for faux 'real' experience

actually, I am feeling very sore now because I have lost so much virtual money
well this also shows that I have alot of free time till uni reopens

hunger pang

seline didn't turn up for work again..
without any early information, no calls from her

The moment i woke up, i received a call from the doctor.
doctor:"could you please help out the clinic? seline didn't turn up. my wife needs to go to work."
me:"sure, give me 15 mins."
doctor:"thanks."
-hang up-
me(hungry, without breakfast)

this is not the exact scenario because I can't remember it anymore, anyway I reached the clinic pretty quick and the clinic looked so messy.(still hungry)

and everyone wants to get a piece of the doctor. "doctor XX is busy, please leave a message" (not so hungry already...)

finally sorting out the admin stuff. luckily everything was in order or else it would be late lunch for me (hungry again :( )

haha... yupe, i do get hungry very easily.
as i am typing this post, i 'm feeling the hunger pang again.

peaz and jan, yesh finally i may drop by your little dens in boon lay. but i dun know when it will be. i'll keep you informed again :)

a happy day

finally a moment of happiness in my family

it's been great meeting up with relatives that I have not seen for ages
everyone gathered together for my eldest cousin's wedding
smiles on everyone's faces
warm conversations
i think i will remember this day deeply for a long long time

today started out early in the morning, we had to help out as the 'sisters' who try many tricks to squeeze angbaos out from the groom before letting him get to my cousin.
after
...many passionate kisses
...many pictures taken
...nice dinner

and now i am so tired. this post is so briefly done:)
